Ash’s Ult can get you somewhere as far as Pathfinder’s Ult, but faster and safer by not being able to get shot, wow.
The catch is it lacks the teamplay.
Edit: I didn’t realise that it also assisted teammates, I thought it was her tearing a hole in space with the sword and it closing behind her. But my belief that it doesn’t make any other rotation ultimates obsolete still stands. The zipline jumping, the bouncing back and forth between portals and the “tap strafing” (I say in quotes because its not the same) with an octane pad are what makes those ultimates insanely interesting and skilful, as opposed to just gaining height. While it looks to be vastly inconspicuous in comparison to the other ultimates, I believe that it doesn’t make their uses obsolete, and before you question that idea, realise that characters aren’t just picked for their ultimate.

Wattson is my main and with her ult being in the state it's in, I'm really scared for this legend. My girlfriend started playing a bit ago, she reall likes Watson and I never really play as her.
@@dlcdaniel6308 I would say to try to think of her fences as more of a precaution rather than actual defense because people can shoot through them and break them, they are more like insurance to make sure that the team does not get pushed, so Wattson should fight around her fences, you can even use them to trap people in rooms.

CAR in Titanfall is allmost 121 with r301. CAR has no recoil in TF, the only concern I have is the dual ammo usage but it should be r301 style weapon.

Wattson can make you position an impenetrable fortress - Ash just catches somebody. Maybe.

King canyons rocky areas/dividers + Worlds edge nature and ships/launch sites+ Olympus structures combined with all vehicles and pve creatures from these maps= Storm Point (so basically all the good parts)
Not to mention this map is the biggest one yet.

With Valkyrie, she is in the back on the beach. With Crypto, she is in the down left, on the building. With Watson, maybe in the building on the right, but not sure. Pathfinder, on the rock left.

I still hope we get a Legend that is a pilot straight out of Titanfall with the spacesuit get up and all that! Maybe even the ability to wall-run!
there's some vids that show the wallrun wouldnt be optimal for apex
the maps are too open and you would eventually have krabers downing you in one second and in the next thrid partying another squad 60 feet away
as a pilot i'd love to see wallrun in apex but i dont think it would do that well
plus the pros would go on a crusade to stop it
