One of the Clans descendants George MacMillan started the Town of Roundup in Montana. The Historical society there knows about him and recognizes him there but doesn't know much more. He is my Great, Great, Great Grandfather and our family has more History to give them. MacMillan's everywhere!

So with your research, do you feel the MacMillan clan was in anyway involved with the Templars? Since the clan had ecclesiastical roots, it would seem a natural fit.
With stuff I have read, I think it could certainly be possible. Lack of actual written records mean possible is as definite as I am prepared to be.
The issue with a lot of stories is that they are traditional, word of mouth, and will change each time they are recounted. There are traditional tales of Joan of Arc using Kintyre as a training ground! so we should exercise caution ๐

The fact there is a templar cross on Alexander's cross, just before stating this cross belongs to him is certainly a clue. I loved this - and the key to get in! Woah! A question: if the comb wasn't a hair comb, what other type of comb is it?
Often a comb would signify the wool trade i.e. carding of wool required a comb ๐ค
