In June 2021, I set off to cycle, paddle board, and hike the length of Scotland. This video documents the paddle boarding section - a route that was just shy of 200km from Inverkip to Fort William
Unfortunately I lost quite a bit of video footage from the paddling section, due to corrupt SD cards. But I've cobbled together the footage that I managed to recover. I hope you enjoy it!

Great stuff again . I think the Discovery Channel should pay you millions for the right to show this series , so much better than the crap they usually show ! You are a star !!
I bloody wish 😂🫠 Thank you for watching, and have a lush Christmas dude ❄️🙌🏻
Leaving the seagull bit in was definitely the right decision! Comedy gold
You are by far the best on CZcams. So genuinely refreshing and real and an absolute pleasure to watch. Please quit the day job and do this full time.
Love watching your videos. You should consider submitting this to the Austin Vince Adventure Travel Film Festival. Look forward to the next video 👍👍👍
Also , you are very brave going near the Corryvreckan whirlpool on a board , I’ve only done it on the SS Waverly paddle steamer , drinking tea with lots of old people ..
38:17 - I love this bit. Always be in it for the journey, not the destination.
Talking to Seagulls and swearing shows it's so real. My favourite channel keep them coming and thanks for all the hard work to get them sorted for us to see
Excellent mimic the seagull skills. Did you learn that on Skillshare?! 😂
😂😂😂😂 comment of the day
I'd glanced at a map of your route and had an image in my head of what the route would be like. But I was so wrong! That's something I enjoy about your adventures: seeing an area for what it is and your experiences of it.
I'm glad this wasn't found footage from the depths of 'Scotland's Maelstrom'. I've seen some images of those whirlpools and they are quite terrifying! Again, I had no idea these existed in the UK.
It's been a pleasure to have followed your complete triathlon. Massive congratulations! Here's to your next adventure.
It's a little known fact that a lot of the coastline and seascapes of Scotland were actually inspired by the natural, rugged beauty of Barry docks.
😂😂😂 oh you’re definitely competing for best comment with the guy who asked if I learnt my seagull impression on SkillShare 😂 It’s days like these that reassure me the right people are following me 😂
So they copied barry docks when nature made scotland did they 😂😂😂😂
@@gbwildlifeuk8269 Yes, nature is very weird like that 😃
You are a total inspiration
And completely ...Mint!!!
You may not appear all that stout to a casual glance, but only a fool would challenge you to arm wrestle after that lot! 😂 Nicely done. Thanks for taking us along.
Man i wish i wasn’t disabled to the point of not managing to get out of bed so i could do stuff like this, i still try to paddleboard when i can but it gets harder and harder and i’m worried someday i will just have to stop, watching this was so inspiring and incredible
Last year your CWT videos inspired me to complete the CWT despite I only started hiking 9 months before and only the WHW undet my belt. I did stay in the Schoolhouse Bothy 😁
However there is no way I would try this, probably spend more time looking up at the paddle board.
Fantastic achievement which I thoroughly enjoyed watching.
Birds pooping on you? If you're unfortunate enough to get pooped on by a bird, it's actually a sign of good luck.
Just. Keep. Paddling.😂😂 oh my days, I can relate to that. Went through the five stages of grief, couldn’t feel the left hand side of my body, saw the face of god...good times 😂.
Damn, my sense of time is completely shot! I've only just realised you filmed all this nearly 18mths ago, and the first Scotland video was over a year ago! o.O
I was still thinking of it as "this Summer" 😀
Me too I’m so confused 😂 I don’t even know what I did ‘this summer’ coz I’m still living in 2021 summer 🤦🏼♀️ Thank gawd these videos are over, now I can edit Autumn 2021 😂😂
What a great adventure your a funny lass and a great video maker you make me want to explore the west coast of Scotland atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Looked stressful at points, with emotions running high. Fatigue has that effect, but never a doubt you can complete it, even with those bastards midges trying to eat your head
A wonderful, vibrant film. Thanks. I'm an old guy, and my partner and I have just started out. Scotland has always been like a second home to me and I cannot wait to SUP there :)
From Montreal Quebec...your amazing keep up with your beautiful stories
34 minutes in is comedy gold! I've loved following this series. You've inspired me Todo more things that scare me ❤️
How perfect is everything in this video. Welcome to Scotland. Where beauty comes naturally.
I thank you so much for you and what you are doing. Please keep doing it. It makes me happy.
Amazing video Sarah. It should win a CZcams award.
Thankyou Sarah. Think I’ll watch with my morning cuppa. Have a great Christmas. Wishing you wonderful adventures in 2023 😊💗
Sounds lovely - thank you for watching! Have a lush Christmas, catch you in 2023 😊🙌🏻
i love your clips your enthusiasm is infectious
I’ve watched this video a few times. I think you have been very brave doing this adventure on your own and you have an amazing sense of humour. This is something I’d love to try one day, maybe just over night though 😂. Well done 👏🏼.
Absolute bloody legend, brave , fearless and so funny!
Amazing!
Morning Mad Sarah 😁 what a treat of a video to wake up to this morning. Looks epic. Funny to see I’m not the only one to bark at seagulls (queue 10 minute break from Mad Sarah’s video to research Corryvreckan whirlpools), then as soon as I saw those sunglasses hanging precariously I thought you were taking a chance then boop in they fell 😂 Looking forward to your next adventure. Rob
No doubt you are physically tuf Sarah, but your mental strength is what gets you through, when the going got tuf..you got going, midges, cross currents and tiredness you beat them! Remember those times and you can achieve anything you want mate! Any chance of you making a little Welsh trip vlog!? Take it easy.
Love this... simply amazing and beautiful
looks awesome , would love to SUP around scotland some day!
Congratu-flippin-lations! x
👍 Thanks again for another great video, you're certainly braver, fitter, and more adventurous than I'll ever be...
Wishing you a great Christmas Sarah, and all the best for 2023, and hopefully more adventures 😀 ..👍🏴
Holy moly, you have more energy in your little finger than I do in like...ever. So great. Thanks, Sarah. 👍🙂
Epic. Well done. Cracking weather 👍🏻
That was awesome, really enjoyed that!
Hiya Sarah! Loving the videos. Have a nice christmas :D
Thank you! You too, catch you in 2023 😊🙌🏻
What an incredible adventure! I loved watching every minute of it. And what a better sight on your last paddling day than three frolicking otters!?!
GOD I’m so proud of you doing this for me, for us! You make Scotland look so beautiful, but even more beautiful with you in it. Your the best spirit guide a person could pray for. That channel, Simon the bloke canoed thru. So I do recognize that area. But in my eyes you have her heart with you. She makes me smile to see so much of her and hear your beautiful voice (an antics lol) narrating Scottish glory. Thank you for allowing me to see it through yours eyes and heart. Just wish I could hug you and say thank. This old heart is astonished at what you have achieved and your smile warms my eyes to see you do it. Awaiting another when possible.
SEMPER FI
Brilliant, brilliant , brilliant! What a feat. I've watched your CWT twice now as I plan to do it next year and had been waiting patiently to see the paddle board section. I can't imagine even attempting that. That water can be very rough. I'm a Scot but live in the Seattle area now but am constantly drawn back to Scotland like yourself. When the weather is great there is no other place as good. Fell in love with your humour from the very first video and the seagull squawking had me chuckling. What a year 2021 was for you..one more Brilliant! Lol
Loved watching this, you literally paddled past my house on Seil sound 🙌 Keep the adventures coming please.
Congratulations again Sarah on such an epic adventure! Thank you for documenting it with your your usual honesty and weirdness
Next time you need a leash on the back with all the litter attached like on a wedding car 😂
Well done again ! These series of Scotland 🏴 have been EPIC !!! 👏🏻👏🏻
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
Loved it Sarah. What an adventure Happy Christmas 🎄 and keep them coming..

Really enjoying catching up with the series and looking forward to following your adventures.
Wishing you a happy New Year.
Brilliant as always.
Apart from producing awesome videos you are clearly a mad person ! Having just paddleboarded for a full hour and am knackered. 200k !!!!! such a physical endurance achievement. Well done
Insanely brave to tackle this for us all ! Or just bonkers. (Undecided)
You have my respect either way. Excellent stuff!

Forwarded this one to my niece !!!! She will really enjoy this.
😁👍🏴 This was feckin Awesome Sarah!!.. You have a brilliant Xmas and new year you crazy kid 🎄👍😁👍🏴
Well done Sarah. That was a great achievement.
I'm impressed a woman with a midge jumper in her wardrobe collection I've subscribed . Another way to prevent midge attack don't breathe or take a friend who's a midge magnet .
Epic and amazing, you is incredible you is! Yayyyyyy to you showing the sound of Jura, we walked to see the gulf of Corryvreckan 8 miles there and back, amazing beautiful place….. your videos are AMAZING ALWAYS! Can’t wait to see what you do next woooooo hooooo xx 🙌🏼🤩❤️

brilliant video Sarah
What a great adventure in Scotland.I love this kind of video and nature in it.Thanks a lot for this beautiful video.
You always cheer me up thank you!!
Wow what an adventure, knowing the local streams is super important!
I had been wondering since the first part how you were going to get on with the tidal races and the crazy Oban ferries. Looks like plenty of planning went into that trip, and Sarah had it well covered.
Excellent again, love following your adventures. Thanks for sharing them with us.
I won't repeat what most people have already said, but as always, a great video to watch 👌.
Have a merry Christmas Sarah and a very Happy New year 🎉 😊
Bloody sailing boats fannying around 😂 well done on completing the paddle boarding section, you did very well.
Inspiring! And what an advert for Scotland! Wow!
Your determination is incredible and your so brave 👍🏻
Very lovely video! I'm trying to get into the paddleboarding/adventures myself and can't wait to see more of yours😊
What a cracking video - fantastically well filmed :-) and well done you!
Well done Sarah! That was some gig delivered in your own indomitable style, a great watch!
Fantastic video! Great way to start the sunday, and it brings a little summer warmth back in these frozen days.
Great vid looked like an awesome trip
Great narrations
So magical babes, thanks for sharing your precious adventures xXx
This is truly a fantastic achievement and excellent content, well done 👏🏼!!
My new game when watching this is “how many islands have I pissed/slept on, that feature in Sarah’s adventure” the answer, a canny few😂😂. The weather does proper change rapid round there. I remember once paddling down the side of luing (I think) it was all calm, got round the bottom, it blew up something bad, and having to land early, 3 of us huddling under a cliff face drinking whiskey (we had planned to camp, just not there)😂
Only a crazy Welsh girl would do that, loads of ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Perfect timing really. That sets us up for a re-watch of the hiking videos in the cold dark month of January :-)
Just found your channel! You are amazing, an inspiration! Thankyou!
great journey and well done, that wasn't a easy journey as I know them waters well and the tides are strong. You were lucky with the weather. Really enjoyed watching. Atb Steve 👍
Bloody beautiful and brilliant , Mary Christmas 🙂,thanks for letting us came along 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
"WTF is she doing?" at the end 😂😂😂....Great video Sarah....loved the shot of the otters. Merry Christmas and all the best in 2023.
Wow, Sarah what a video! Beautifully edited. Thank you for sharing the highs, and especially the lows, your honesty and heart felt emotions, nearly brought a tear to my eye, I know that exhaustion and stress, fair play to you for cracking on! Then the next minute I'm laughing at you swearing about the midges 🤣. I defo want to get up that exploring, what an amazing place!
ATB Cat and Xena, aka one girl and her dog 😁
Great watch looking forward to the next vlog have a great Christmas and new year
Well done! 🙌 I think you were exceptionally lucky with the weather. Others who follow in your footsteps will probably need the coastguard! 😉 Amazing that you had that encounter with the otters. 🤗
Epic Scottish adventure amazing series of videos. Really enjoyed them. Wishing you a midge free Christmas!
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas so looking forward to seeing your next adventure
Fantastic adventure 👌👌 superb and well done - that’s a long way to paddle - superb stuff Sarah 👍 have a great Christmas
You are both crazy and brave but that was epic, I have gone into the Corryvreckan in a powerful boat so I 100% understand the fear. Well done on picking up all that rubbish it's so sad seeing it lying around. Loved the scene with the otters, that must have been a proper magical moment. I have found you paddle boarding experiences really inspiring and I have managed to get hold of a SUP board (I won't be on it till next year now though), you look really steady on yours hopefully I will get good at it too. Congratulations on the amazing adventure and making it look easy.
Wow what an amazing watch, love your positivity to keep going, you have a amazing engine to keep going a normal human being would have gave up early doors, I will certainly watch more of your videos well done and good luck to your future adventures 👍👍👍
I explored the Oban area and came across the Atlantic Bridge and ended up looking down to Jura I was mesmerised by the beauty and harsh seas . How you managed to padle board that is amazing. I saw whirlpools and the water rush tides were scary. I need to go back to camp. Awesome content oh get a mini dji they are amazing. Thanks your a star .
Wow! Another great accomplishment! Parts of it looked wonderfully peaceful and beautiful, but other bits not so much. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing I sup adventure all the time in the Lake District the crinnan canal looking awesome think am I think I’ll have to organise a trip to Scotland, after I do the river seven in may
Great to get another video to watch Sarah ! Just wondering, are waterways guys ok with paddle boarding? I’ve saw people doing on my stretch of the Caledonian canal but nowhere near the loch gate’s where the guys work.
Yeh they’re totally fine, I mean I think they’d have something to say if I rocked up the the actual lochs like “open them up bitchesss” 😂
