- The Denver Nuggets defeated the Boston Celtics 115-109 in what could be a preview of the NBA Finals. Nikola Jokić finished with 32 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists in Denver's big win. This raises the question of whether the reigning champs can be stopped. The Denver is the type of team that coast and I believe it. When it’s time to play a prime time game against a threat, they will play their best ball. People forgets that yea jokic is a threat but in the playoffs Murray plays like a legit #1 option. He was responsible for destroying Utah in the playoffs and also had a part sweeping the lakers last year and was jokic wing man against the tough suns series. In playoffs, Jamal is getting you 25 points and 6+ assist and if he get hot could be 35-40.
And you live in some kind of fantasy world. I mean until last yr jokic and Murray were under 500 in the playoffs, and it took a 7th and 8th seed to get over 500.
I wouldn't count on any play-in teams to be that far in the playoffs this yr.

The Nuggets play a tight rotation in the playoffs. Suns won’t handle them. The only team that can is the T Wolves with Gobert and KAT. Gobert can limit Jokic at the rim and rebounding. KAT is a dynamic scorer that pairs well with Gobert. Never thought I’d see it

T Wolves will always be a 1st round exit. Rudy Gobert was a famous choked player back in Utah Jazz and I don't see any difference at all in the T Wolves. Rudy Gobert played great in the regular season, but come playoffs he choked when the team needed him the most. KAT is another choked artist in the playoffs too.
Mavs... I'm not saying Dallas would win, I'd definitely favor the Nuggets, but Luka is one of only a couple of players on the same tier as Jokic. The Nuggets main closing unit is definitely better overall than Dallas', but if the inconsistent Dallas role players were to play well, then they could make it interesting.

They have bench problems whoever exploits their bench they can be stopped but not a lot out of teams can do that
I agree but also In my opinion you need elite pull up jump shooting to beat them. Like how the suns were able to take 2 games because of bookers elite pull up shooting. The only teams that I think have a shot are the suns,clippers, and mavs based off of elite pull up shooting but they have to be consistent especially with Denver’s perimeter defense.
@@abtocool6350 I say clippers first because of their defense and rebound and scoring and scoring bench then suns which is my team but even I know the turnovers and no rebound are killing them but they barely are over mavs due to mavs having no big or defense but they can score more than suns and clips so that evens out, suns maybe can put up a Better fight than last time but it’s the 4th q and rebounding and turnovers I am not confident about at all
Look out if the Nuggets get a first-round match up against Dallas. I would still pick the Nuggets to win, and they've handled Dallas pretty easily during the regular season, but Luka and Kyrie are a pretty even duo with Jokic and Murray. The Nuggets definitely have an advantage in the 3-5 spots in there closing unit, but if the Dallas role players happen to have good games, then they can beat any team.

I think Joys analysis was fair. When you never done it before there are gonna be questions. And for us Nuggets fans, who saw them in the bubble, and after they traded for Gordon knew this was coming, but it’s a fair critique. If they stay healthy then I’m looking forward to the playoff

As a warriors fan, I believe the celtics are the only team that can take the nuggets in my oppinion. Although the nuggets are clearly the better team, celtics have a DEEPER lineup compare to the nuggets. Their defense is what is most inpressive to me and the reason as to why I say they can beat the nuggets.
One more thing, if the warriors somehow survive the play in and make the playoffs, God help everyone they play against.

Suns can beat them. Suns took two games from them last year with KD only playing 8 regular season games with the Suns, no CP3 & Ayton who is too soft for Jokic. Suns have more depth and Denver don’t look as good as they did last year. Nuggets have no bench & just lost to the Suns at home with no Booker
No. They can’t defend a tightened Nuggets rotation. The Suns handled the bench well but most of those guys aren’t seeing the court in the playoffs

@@WLJ1287nuggets did a 7-8 man rotation every series last year. Starters were all playing 40+ minutes. Most teams do this and have for a long time. You new here or what? A deep bench does not really win you games in the playoffs it usually all comes down to the starting 5.

On January 16th we (Philly) played Denver and beat them 126-121 with Embiid dropping 41 points on Joker. A few weeks later we played Denver again, this time Embiid was absent due to an injury. We lost by 6 points without Joel, a top 5 player in the League. Philadelphia is the BEST matchup against the Nuggets and can beat them.
You guys are great for sure, but you better hope you have home court advantage because you don’t have a chance without Embiid. And since he’s allergic to ever playing in Denver I don’t like your chances 😂.
P.S. And as far as that game you lost here in Denver, our guys were all hyped up to play your guys and Embiid, and once he mailed it in again, our guys didn’t take it that seriously and did just enough to win.

Naw it’s true, Suns were already talented and they got better with Adding Nurkic (Joker demolished Ayton last year, Nurkic is a much tuffer assignment) Bradley Beel and Greyson Allen. (Allen is the type of second or third rate player that can swing a whole serious if he gets hot. Kind of like if Peyton Watson or Christian Braun blows up for a big game or two for Denver. Everyone knows Joker/Murray and KD/ Booker will score. It’s these other guys out of the blue that can really help their team). And I say this as a lifetime Nuggs fan..
But I still think it’s Denver’s Chip if they want it bad enough. Home court is a big advantage for us, so I hope they can slip by the Thunder for the 1 seed.

@@markmansfieldsbwc4674 there’s been plenty of times a team was swept in the season series and won the playoffs series. 7 game series a lot of things factor in most importantly the chess match between the coaching staffs and the adjustments they make. If the Celtics can successfully limit Murray impact especially down the stretch of games Celtics can certainly beat them. Will they? Time will tell
