Marks explained that Heard's witness discussed the number she came to, but refused to give any context to how that number was reached. Marks said the witness "built a house of cards on nothing."

I think this man was a solid, believable witness. Not snarky, not mean spirited, just straight to the point based on a long career and history in Hollywood. He seemed like a straight shooter IMHO.

I kept saying to myself, so when is she going to present the metrics with which she used to compare. Where's the record of Amber's earnings, where's the financial records of other actors, what are the comparisons of screen time, casting role, earnings, time in the industry, global recognition, award nominations.. anything. Just present one piece of evidence that reinforces your opinion...
And today we have 2 actual experts of the industry refuting it all. Essentially reducing Amber to a second rate actress and a liar 😂

I find it extremely tragic that JD has never come forward as a victim of abuse. This says so much about society; and equal rights should include support for inequality towards men. It is extremely hard for a man to come forward about cases of domestic violence or rape, because of toxic attitudes. I want equal rights for ALL. I want men to be able to report crimes done against them without mockery.
But AH has done irreparable damage. Women and children are far more likely to be victims of abuse; but it is their word that brings thing to court. You need to be believed in order to make that first step, because court cases take effort… and money… because a public defender may be required.. and only then can true evidence be presented.
In spite of extensive review and research, I have found not a solitary victim/survivor is able to, even slightly, replicate this behaviour. AS a sufferer of PTSD, this case has been a trigger (limited) to my own experience.
THERE IS NO WAY THAT SOMEONE WITH PTSD can talk so freely, without trauma and emotion, about severe cases of abuse. PTSD means that you relive experiences of trauma in your mind at the slightest implication.
Excluding abuse victims; look at those suffering from PTSD from war experience. They can’t get past it; they live it day to day; their families need to support them, when it’s hard to move forward.

As a survivor of both CA and DV, I would be dead without court intervention. That doesn’t mean I’m fine, but I’m alive.
AH has put doubt in the mind of every legal official considering taking a case to court.
I know I’ve posted this on other platforms, but I honestly believe that this deserves to be heard…. And then I’ll never speak again. But this means something. Not because the players are special, but because the information deserves to be heard. I do this, not for me, but for all the children that I support.
Victims, regardless of gender, should be treated better in the justice system. Men may not come forward due to embarrassment, but too many women do not come forward when victims of DV or rape for the same reason. It does not help a person feel safe to come forward when we continually see the courts attacking the witness, and using irrelevant things from their past to try to discredit them, all while making the guilty parties past off limits, as to not taint the jurors opinion of the suspect. Just another corrupt and broken system in the U.S.

He should have bought up Burt Ward in the Original Batman series. Ward was payed LESS that every other actor. Even less than smaller role parts like Alfred the butler. Why? Because he was a relatively unknown and didn’t have a good body of work to warrant a high paying fee. In comparison Adam West was payed something in the region of 20 times what Ward was payed per episode . The Show was called Batman. Not Robin and to say Heard was comparable to Gal Gadot or Mamoa is comical. NO ONE went to see Aquaman to see Amber Heard!

As the truth comes out on this Trial. Ambers lawyer should just suggest she pleads out. They do her injustice in this trial. They are hurting her career and what's left of her dignity. You can't go up against someone who has a kinder repetation, and it shows over and over. Someone who admits to being an addict and saying sorry and trying to walk away. Both of them verbally destroyed each other. It's wrong. Those lawyers should of really warned her instructed her to fold. For the rest of her life this will taint her in the media, on the internet. This will be a sad out come of being cyber bullied and made fun of and mocked. As it comes to and end. I hope for a better future for both. Men can be abused too.. I know a few men who have. Very astute of you for one so young, Miss Laurant, IM a man of 74 years with quite a few relationships I've had a couple who remind me so much of Miss Heard unfortunately .
Unfortunately I believe her pride has drive her to this point, and continues to propel her to her doom.
As far as I understand, but I'm not a lawyer so please correct me if needed, pleading out is only for criminal cases. For this case they would have had to come to a settlement, which her side tried and it was rejected.
She deserves and deserved everything she’s getting. Are you not aware of the lengths she went through to destroy Johnny Depp’s career? She’s a liar and a manipulator who is getting her comeuppance on a global stage. She initiated it and Johnny accepted her challenge.
