Really good job done! 👍
At my 451 mhd is also the air conditioning condenser defective. The workshop estimates the repair costs at about 500€, rather more. When I saw your video, I know why.
Unfortunately, I can not do it myself.
U r awesome...THX a lot for video
One thing I would like to see from you is how to put the smart car on 4 stands. Can you do that?
New front panel is only 127 pounds from Mercedes trade price Blackpool dealership
Good price. Given the vulnerability of this panel, I’m thinking that it is definitely likely to fracture where mine had with even the most minor knock. The front part is literally right behind the lower front panel.
Just bought the front panel and the guy at Mercedes had to check price because he thought it was to cheap, but that’s original Mercedes part
@@stevenhough7096 was your damage similar in nature?
@@autoknight747 no I bought mine from synetic as a rebuild cat s front end damage,it had to go on my frame machine and be pulled straight
I find it's always worth a call to MB to get a price on parts ... they're not generally as expensive as you expect
What kind of oil was needed to pump into the system ?
I used PAG oil, with dye.
I did this whole procedure but had no o rings for the new condenser.. Now I have new o rings but I can't bring myself to go through all this again 🙄
It’s quite a job and not one to do twice. Condensers should really come with the required o-rings!
@@autoknight747 yeah.. I couldn't believe there weren't any included.. Gonna try and get a mechanic mate of mine to try and install them without removing the whole thing..
