one thing you needed to think about : the clutchpressure plate when declutched wants to push itself intoo the crank of the engine damaging it you need to put a trustbearing between them
Thank you for this video. I am building a 1928 Morgan RIP special race car and I am using a modified ONAN/Tiger Moth opposed twin and an MGB transmission along with an MGB rear differential with those beautiful wire wheels. I will video what I can. the inks again.
Wow what a wonderful job it was great show you are a very smart guy Congratulations maybe you are a mechanical engineer very well thought out your project
That shifter linkage is great. I've considered making a buggy like this, but I have no lathe, and no welder. But I just got my new shed in a box, I will put a secondary roof over it for protection from the weather, after that it's all projects all the time. Can't wait to make stuff just like you do. Nice work.👍💩
Gotta love English lol I could imagine learning it from another language. I'm mean you can have the Right to go Right and you may be Right but you may also go Right off a cliff. Gotta love it lol I commend anyone who is learning it

English is my only language and I’m still learning new things. Anyone who has the patience and intelligence to even learn broken English should be respected.
I love it ?!! Screw the armchair haters , I hate nothing more then to see what looks like a cool diy build n start watching only to find out their using a 150000 $ lathe to build their so called diy projects.... Good work n something anyone could also do with limited tooling !!
@@Pawex55 my statement was applying to these types of videos in general ' I think u'd be hard pressed to find a decent metal lathe and a milling machine capable of doing a lot of these type projects for 1500 $ if you know of some by all means plz provide the links ' also some of us may only have a limited amount of space to do our diy projects I think the jist of my comment may have eluded you.....

Nice work bro. I like it I have question Do you think the machine that you use strong enough for real car?? How strong your machine is?? Thanks keep working ..
Brother, Awesome video! What engine 22hp? If you went with chromoly flywheel free up some rotation Mass! Should of Tig weld the half shafts and turn them down so they are balanced! Or you will be replacing bearings again! Best Regards!
Very well done! But I had lightened the flywheel as much as possible. and it would have had to be closer to the engine. "leverage". With the translation you can now only drive in 1&2 gear?!? Or?
Actually the extra flywheel weight should help keep it from stalling. The heavier flywheel keeps its momentum when you engage the clutch so its not fully relying on engine power.
I know maybe its late but can you say witch transmission did you use thank you if you remeber im asking because i would like to try and make one buggy myself im only 16 and i would like to learn and build thanks once more if you remember
I like seeing people who master their craft, like Le Dan does. You’re possibly one of the masters in the making, but I think you could do with some help writing scripts for your narration.
wait you have a lathe but bought a crankshaft to get the end?...why not just make the end on the lathe? those axles will be way off balance...to align two shafts you can either lay them both in the "V" if a pc of angle iron then clamp them and weld or a better way is to slide both shafts into a pc of snug tubing. the tubing has an opening where the two shafts meet so you can weld them together...then you weld the tubing ends to the shafts.
That runout of the flywheel... geeeeez man, that will eat the motormounts quickly. And your joints too.
You are a clear man, and that touches you in the transparency with which you explain, your excellent photography, and your taking of the detailed explanation .. Oh man, you are a prince and your safety
Great video brother I am a new subscriber I cannot wait to put your clutch into practice Thank you for sharing hello from Detroit Michigan USA
This is so awesome!!!! Best buggy videos on youtube! I send my respect to you from Texas as a fellow mechanic. God bless you good sir!
#thereisnogod stupid
This is the most mad max fabrication I've ever witnessed
Wow this it the first time ive seen anyone else make the clutch the same way i did cut the old flange and attach the flywheel to it . Nice job
Thank you for sharing this idea. The making a buggy. I love it.
using what you have is part of the appeal of projects like these. well done.
Totally agree, armchair warriors would nvr understand !
one thing you needed to think about : the clutchpressure plate when declutched wants to push itself intoo the crank of the engine damaging it you need to put a trustbearing between them
The thrust would be taken by the "air handler" or flange bearing, whatever you want to call it.
It's gonna be pretty gutless anyway 😂

1:02 What cutoff wheels do you use? They cut through that crankshaft like a knife through butter.
Not sure how long the engine crankshaft bearings will last but great job figuring how to mate the two together!

Hi there
actually not bad
but isn't it easier to turn the differential and install the engine to the rear?

I didn’t know these were dubbed. Finally! I found this vid and I going to rewatch the series. In English.
Really, these were dubbed? I had no Idea! The narrator's speech seemed so natural!
cool video, but did you see how much metal shavings were left on the CV shaft?
One day i will build this buggy too.
PS: Love your videos
Question about the build
Anti vibration engine blocks…?…..who makes them….and what was their original purpose…?
Amazing full, it is very good
Kudo's to the Camera Man! It was as if I were hands on. All the important shots of pivot points angles and the broken bit shot twice as if I broke it myself.
Its like someone wrining an essay and replacing half of the words with synonyms they don't under stand to try to get a better grade.
Funny how such small details are dead giveaways for someone whose first language is not English.
Holy FART! Ya sure that shit is centered my guy? 2:17. Yikes lucky that bit did not shatter bruh.
Glad I found this channel!
Bro like how it's made but so much better haha
Yeah me too. Im trying to build me a track vehicle for my post driver an i think this idea is what im looking for.
Good job... bro but we need to hit this on the road.
I had been done that kind of assembling from transmission to engine.
when will you do the test?
Hi what you are use for are gearbobox???thanks
If the flywheel is weighted won't that change the balancing of the motor and cause bottom end problems.
Nice work bro. I like it
I have question
Do you think the machine that you use strong enough for real car??
How strong your machine is??
Thanks
keep working ..
have you tried making a dozer or some heavy machines?
Jaime bien vôtre vidéo Mercie

I like the conversion a 1993 Chevy geo metro transmission could work as well

Looking good, might be worth getting the flywheel lightened, the smaller motor wont need the extra weight that the car engine did.
Actually the extra flywheel weight should help keep it from stalling. The heavier flywheel keeps its momentum when you engage the clutch so its not fully relying on engine power.
If they aren't using the electric start from the car the ring gear is a couple pounds alone
I know maybe its late but can you say witch transmission did you use thank you if you remeber im asking because i would like to try and make one buggy myself im only 16 and i would like to learn and build thanks once more if you remember
the only issue i see is the efficiency will be worse, but it will last all the clutch dumps u can give it with that little engine haha.
I want to know how you were able to drill the keyway slot without the bit bending into the existing hole?

Very creative i love this video
How much do u charge to layth a crankshaft end
Very cool!
Se puede armar un buggy con una plataforma de VW , motor ,transmisión y suspensión sin tanto problema.
great video its nice to see peopel being creative
Thanks for the video
Can a 6 mm adaptor sheet be used?
Yea
Its just what ur motor attachs to but you might need longer bolts tho
Nice video i love the style

Dude your lathe is vibrating everywhere
Haha fr I like the kind of people that make things work to the very end though haha
Yes, that is the first thing I noticed.!!
Hallo Im HariPutra from Indonesian
Way cool. Now you need a turbocharged predator engine
The Hemi predator of course.
NICE JOB SIR .....
Great idea dude
Nice project!
Amazing👍
Sounds like charley from always sunny in Philadelphia
Vibrations from every angle.
you didn't think about the thrust pressure every time the clutch is engaged or disengaged. look at vw cases, pounded out......
What transmission you use?
and you could have added the starter and battery from the car
What Drive shaft is balance???
Whats the transmission out of? Looks like either a VW or a Front wheel drive Subaru...

When polishing a shaft with emery cloth, use very light oil, I use WD40.
How big horsepower that engine?
Nice work
Cool vids . Keep it up
There is no way those calipers are reading true.. those machining skills though. Lol
I'd like to ask what kind of gearbox is that? can it be used on a honda k24 engine? please answer?
Thanks dude

Let’s see the buggy drive!!!!
Good jobs. Perfeck
How the hell did you mount the transmission to a small engine like that?? I need this!!
Terima kasih atas tutornya sobat
Dude really had a hoist for a 50lb engine lmao
Back when Skynet rode the short bus...
What transmission is this?
Is this a good engine? i thought that this engine was be designed by honda.
0:44 where can I get a clutch and gearbox system like that
lathe work at it finest xD

Откуда у тебя редуктор от советского муравья (трёх колёсный грузовой мотоцикл), их в странах СНГ сейчас трудно найти. Почему маховик не пророчил?

Blown rear axles ?
Dude you need to get a proper set of lathe tools, that stuff is old and not even properly ground. Also get a center pilot drillbit for your endstock.
That’s the worst machining I have ever seen.
This dude’s a hack.
Good job,and nice edeas
Trying to understand the English from the video and comments are making me lose brain cells
I blame the dub reader who chose to but include basic joining words
