I don't think you would have the capability to deorbit. No amount of pushing off the space station would be enough, and I doubt there's enough fuel in the jetpack either.
You would de-orbit _eventually,_ but you'd be dead long before.
For comparison, a bag of tools drifted off the ISS in 2008, and took 8 months to come down.
Using the "jetpack" wouldn't make a significant difference either, because you're already travelling at 17,100 mph (27,500 kph). The pack would only have enough delta-v to change that by a few mph.
Like the toolbag, your body would burn up upon re-entry into the atmosphere. To successfully return to Earth, you'd need heat-shields.

It is that bad. I'm a 56 year old woman with a fear of heights and its so scary the panic is unbelievable. But watching it was hilarious especially when the camera floated into space. Although scary it was an experience.

I never heard or had that thought about laying on the grass and looking up making you feel like ur gonna fall off earth. That's actually quite damn scary major props for attempting this I hate the thought of space too. And under water. The other day as I was driving, the sky started getting to the point of almost black, was at that dark blue stage and there were huge, long dark clouds in the sky. I had the thought of "imagine you were blind and then suddenly seeing clouds for the first time" and I got super terrified ☹️ even tho I knew what clouds were and that I was perfectly safe. Just a very uncomfortable and overwhelming feeling.
I have that feeling too. It's worse if you lay on your back and lean your head back far enough that you're viewing things upside down. The reason you feel like you're going to "fall" is because of how your brain interprets depth. We normally view the ground at 5-6 feet up (the distance from the surface to your eyes), but when viewing things upside down, the ground is now a "ceiling" and the sky has become a bottomless pit, so your brain thinks it's about to "fall."
Going through all that with a fear of heights, that’s still a boss move in my book.

I noticed in game his hands were shaking! Aw! Heights are definitely scary for me as well but I’m more like this with anything shark related. Somehow my family convinced me to try a vr shark attack game and it was the worst experience in my life 😬
I wouldn’t use the in game hands as any indicator, the sensors can get a little drunk sometimes.

I think this is why they have the astronauts train in that deep submerged pool so you get that sensation instead of the falling sensation when you're out in space. If they threw them to the wolves without that step in between, they'd probably all have Sean's panic attacks.

@@Horizon_Sounds People have different fears that aren't necessarily due to cowardice, but are more just how they are. You'll find most of these fears classified as phobias, some even getting so bad that it impacts daily life that would otherwise be no big deal.
If you're planning on being an astronaut, obviously you would not understand people with fear of heights or space. It's like a nascar racer thinking it's weird that some people are scared of driving to a crippling level.
