bbygirl it does actually, some races have grown up with locally sourced ingredients that have been passed down generations and are now very popular. Things such as African black soap and Indian healing clay are just some of the products that poc people have grown up with and they work wonders as opposed to white people saying 'drink water and don't stress and your skin will be clear!' It's just a personal preference too so I don't get why you're offended

Its Officially been a whole month since I started TheDoEthiopian Skincare regime and I am happy to say all my acne has cleared up ! Infact I wanted to comment/review on day 2 because I swore all my acne disappeared but I decided to wait to get a full review. Not only has my acne cleared up but dark marks also I am amazed. By My 2nd month my Skin will be Flawless without seeing a derm. Thank you very much for sharing and EVERYONE Just do it !!!

Let me tell ya'll in all seriousness that this routine REALLY WORKS OMG!! i normally don't comment on videos but for this i just had too. My skin use to have soooooo many bumps it was freakin ridiculous. my skin so smooth now im LOVING IT!! also i use the african shea butter to mosturize my not only my face but my whole body, works wonders. Ya'll should really try this.

omg wow im just now seeing this!! but yes I still use this same skin care routine to this day, but I mainly use it as a night time routine before I got to bed.

winnnanniee witch hazel, tea tree and oxy pads!!! I love the 3 products 😭😭 I find that if I use tea tree oil or the oxy pads often it makes my skin a bit dry. So only use them when you have a break out. But I use witch hazel everyday makes my skin feel soft.
Marixsa Alba i follow this routine and im not sure if this is a dumb question or not but before i go to bed i put on the shea butter which makes my face very oily . when i wake up in the morning some of the oil is gone but for the most part its still very oily . am i supposed to wash it off , is it even still supposed to be oily , do you think im putting too much ? thanks
Chloe Fontenot Im oily in my t zone only, so I mostly moisturize on the perimeters of my face and whatever is left I put it on the rest of my face. Yes!!! Wash your face in the morning with your face wash ☺️ then apply witch hazel and a bit of moisturizer and you are good to go.

THIS ACTUALLY WORKS!!! I have always had clear skin but 8 months ago i started to break out REALLY BAD. I stared using her method i would sometimes skip the spin brush, i don’t use tea tree oil anymore bc my face is kinda dried out from the oxy pads.
✨MY ROUTINE:
1. Witch hazel
2. Trader Joe’s all in 1 face wash
3. Witch hazel again
4. Oxy pads if my skin is staring to break out
5. Aloe Vera gel if i didn’t use oxy pads and wash it off in morning
6. Vitamin e and shea butter on dry areas at night and jojoba and a little vitamin e in the day

no, its combination but more on the dry side in the winter and oily in summer

no, I got the vitamin e oil from Walgreens. I think the face wash. I use a different one now from burst bees that is a gel solution that helps with acne. I really like that meow than the trader joes face wash

i saw the twitter post that went viral of your before and after skin and that showed me oxy pads and they absolutely blessed my skin. if it wasn't for that post i would've never found oxy pads and i would've never felt this good about my skin. oxy has left my skin the clearest it's been since fourth grade. thank you so much for showing how you clean your skin. you showed me the way to better skin :)

Ok this is gonna be really long sorry but this skincare routine is actually clearing my acne!!!! I have combination skin with little clogged pore and tiny bumps everywhere on my forehead. I had clear skin and never washed my face until last August right before high school. I tried everything: like I went off dairy, sugar, chocolate, drank water (helps a little bit), peptobismol (gave me redness and open pores all over and made my acne so much worse, I did it one time and the open pores still haven't gone away), alba botonica, etc. I only buy cruelty free products and I'm super poor so those $30 serums or whatever were never an option. My self confidence went WAY down and my face became a topic of embarrassment. It somehow got WAY worse when I started eating more coconut products (I found out like 2 weeks ago from hudabeauty that is breaks some people out really badly and my face has quite a bit since I stopped eating it). ANYWAY. finding cheap + cruelty free acne products that WORK is hard. Nuetrogena tests on animals, so nope. High end creams and cleansers and stuff I just can't afford. I ended up accumulating most of the products in this video over the last year in the hopes of one of ten incorporated into my routine would cure my zits, but dropped them after no results. Cetaphil is absolute crap. It slowly broke me out so I didn't even realize it was happening. Alba botanica did absolutely nothing for my skin. Their astringent is ok though. About two weeks ago I ran into this video. I'd seen her viral "thank you tea tree oil" post and it changed my life, so when I saw this video I literally took notes and was sooo happy to see I had everything but the shea butter and spinny brush (I've wanted to buy one but $$$). I did this routine without the shea butter and with. I bought the wrong shea butter (DONT BUY REFINED, it's highly comogenic and super hard to melt- unrefined is OK for acne skin) so I've been using jojoba oil ($6 from Trader Joe's) on my acne prone areas , but even then THIS IS WORKING. ITS THE ONLY THING THATS HELPED AND IM SO THANKFUL. MY FACE LOOKS SO MUC BETTER NOW AND ALL GLOWY. I SEE SUCH A DIFFERENCE AND MY NOSE LOOKS SO CLEAN AND NOT FILLED WITH GUNK. MY CHIN LOOKS REALLY CONFUSED BUT HAPPY. MY FOREHEAD IS DOWN TO ONLY LIKE 15 SMALL BUMPS ANS IVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR ABOUT TWO WEEKS. ITS INEXPENSIVE AND CRUELTY FREE SO HONESTLY TRY IT. i had tiny bumps on my forehead too and i tried everything but what really worked was using dandruff shampoo on my forehead ONLY and for the rest of my face i would use my regular facewash. i didn't change anything on my routine but this and in 3 days they were gone and i stopped using dandruff shampoo and now i don't even breakout on my forehead anymore. this is what worked for me, but it may not work for you guys. give it a shot. xoxo

Alyssa Mayberry I use Witch Hazel as well I don’t see to much with my acne scars (even though there very small) but they have gone somewhat away. It’s help with my forehead breakouts a lot I use it twice a day, yes it does kinda even your skin tone out. I would recommend it.

TYSM. I bought everything that you suggested except for the Trader Joe's face wash. I use African black soap instead to wash my face. And let me just say, this actually worked so well on my skin. It's only been 3 weeks since I've been using it and my dark spots are already fading away. I have really dry skin so the shea butter helped a lot. If you have oily prone skin I wouldn't recommend it.

I HAVE NEVER SEEN my face this clear. I just started this routine for 5 days and my skin has cleared up so much. NO MORE BUMPS and ACNE! I think the main key is Oxy. Oxy works really great to fix my skin texture and reduce my acne. I use African black soap for facial wash instead and I think it's enough so I didn't use the tea tree oil. However, I think the soap and oxy really dry out my skin. So I use virgin coconut oil to moisture my skin day and night. I'm also going to give shea butter a try because I think I need even more moisture. Also all of the products that I use only cost me about $20. Thank you so much for sharing this video!!! You save my life :) :)

Oxy products are bomb af and so is witch hazel! I used Oxy cleanser and my skin was SO CLEAR but I ran out recently and they didn't have it at Kroger so I got a different one and broke out instantly. Switching back to oxy for sure 👍🏽

Ive been doing this three months now and my acne is GONE! I am so happy I tried this regime!!!! Only difference is I use 1 part with hazel and 1 part apple cider vinegar for my toner.
