We didn't see mxy get his powers stolen till middle of 2000s when he got retconned several times and the book was emperor joker. And in that book with half of mxy power he was able to take down doomsday darkside anti life equation quissentence spectre and phantom stranger. Everyone of those guys are super mega strong and joker made them into his playthings with part of mxy. Then came 2015 another retconned to mxy making him weaker again then injustice another thing to make him look weak. My point no matter the history most likely mxy takes it. I know marvel guy about to flood the comments but here me out I like beyonder and all but in his very first outting you see someone can steal his powers, which has happened several times already. And remember beyonders race they were also supposed to be all powerful see how they got done dirty by doom as well. Beyonder always losing to doom where mxy loses but to several other characters not the same guy over and over.

they are definitely powerful but i think they get forgotten a lot because well a lot of them really just aren't that popular with general people the only genuinely poplar one is Stranges, Dormammu, and i can't even name as single Dr Fate villain . but i know how powerful they both are so i know they fight supernatural beings and cosmic horrors on the daily

Still I think The Doom Patrol takes the cake having the most powerful villains in DC. As of Marvel, I don't know, I'm very casual with Marvel.

Wonder Woman? She fights both literal gods as well demons, science-based villains, magic users, aliens… not a well known rogues gallery but they are certainly powerful I’d think

I've always liked the mafia-like villains in batman comics, the bosses, underground clubs, casinos, all that stuff feels at home
Green Lantern's rogue's gallery includes all the other lantern corps, armies of baddies arguably as powerful as GL.
The relationship between Lex and Superman is one of the most fascinating in comic book history. While Superman is an admirable hero with a strong sense of justice and compassion who sees Lex as just a villain who pretends to mean well, Lex is an ambitious man who is convinced that someone like Superman cannot be good and the world will always be in danger as long as he is there, being Luthor the only one who can save the Earth. Curiously, their Golden Age counterparts are basically what one perceives of the other, being the Earth-Two Lex a simple bloodthirsty monster with no morals who only seeks power, and the Earth-Two Superman someone with a certain authoritarian ideology who (after feeling disappointed with Humanity due to the ravages of WW2) believes that a God like him should guide them, something he cannot make possible due to his not fully developed powers
I'm actually gonna give it to Superman as far as the most dangerous villains, he's got a lot of underrated villains but they are powerful

Yeah, Darksied cannot be killed because he is a fundamental force of the Universe. You can kill Dark Phoenix and the force will just find another host. Dark Phoenix isn't taking the multiverse with her when she dies.

Let me add Hal Jordan and the Green Lanterns' rogue gallery.
There's Sinestro and his entire yellow lantern corps, Atrocitus and the Reds, Star Sapphire and co, Larfleeze, Black Hand and his undead army, Krona (who brutalized Galactus and turned him into his base of operations during the DC-Marvel crossover), Volthoom, mfing Nekron, Parallax, and the Antimonitor.
Lots more- the Manhunters, the Controllers, Hector Hammond, Mongul and Cyborg-Superman (they destroyed Coast City), Superboy-Prime (when he was a yellow lantern, together with Cyborg-Superman and Antimonitor), etc.
Glad to see the Flash's Rogue Gallery getting some love. I always did think the top 3 rogue galleries (in my opinion) were Spider-man's, Batman's, and The Flash's because they really do stand out and leave a lasting impression

Bat's rogues gallery may be street level but they always affect people/victims on a psychological level meaning more damage

In terms of power, the X-Men's rogue gallery is tough to beat. I think Batman's rogue gallery is superior, though in terms of personality and depth. They're also interesting because they tend to interact with each other regularly.

I always say Superman has the most dangerous one but he made a great argument for the X-men and I probably agree with him now.
Batman is by far my personal favorite, just everything about them. But power wise, I’d say the x men rogues gallery would be on top

I know they’re not as much of a threat as the likes of Fantastic Four’s rogues gallery or the X-men’s rogues gallery, but a HIGHLY underrated rogues gallery is definitely Moon Knight! From Bushman, to Randall Spector, Sun King, Midnight Man, Midnight, Ernst (especially since his the reason for Marc’s DID) and the Société des Sadiques, and more. I honestly feel like Moon Knight’s rogues deserve more love!!!

If we're taking an entire superhero team's rogues gallery then wouldn't Justice League have the strongest one since Legion of Doom is basically the alliance of all the strongest villains from each hero's superhero gallery?

I think Wonder Woman’s rogues gallery is the most underrated. She has SO MANY unique, formidable villains but for some reason whenever they need a Wonder Woman villain for a movie or tv show they always just default to Cheetah -_- As if she’s Wonder Woman’s only villain.
Can you do history of Cyclone, Rhino, Sandman, Kraven the Hunter, Chameleon, Scorpion and the Human Fly along with Kurt Connors the Lizard. Also can you do the history of the Flash Villains like Turtle, Magenta, Cobalt Blue, Mirror Master and Top?
I think superman has the most world breaking villains but the xmen have the most villains that can destroy the entire universe I remember reading a comic that they were fighting someone with the power to control time and space that was spawned from the sun.

A fair call for the winner, was glad to see the full list of entrants was the same as what I thought on my own. Think the only way to top it would be to include Rogues Galleries of groups like Avengers and Justice league.
How is SHAZAM not on this list!? So many epic villains. Black Adam, Mr. Mind, King Kull, Captain Nazi, Sabbac, The Seven Deadly Enemies of Man. That’s just a few of the epic Captain Marvel / SHAZAM villains.
The Celestials can also be counted as both Thor and FF villains.

I’d say Green lantern is a very underrated pick, the likes of Atrocitus, Sinestro, Black hand, the guardians of the universe etc are all kinda ridiculously powerful, but to be fair, most Marvel or DC cosmic characters are just absurdly powerful

I’d think the justice league or avengers have the most dangerous rogues galleries since all their villains are massive threats to either the earth, universe, or multiverse. Justice league examples: the darkest knight, perpetua, the empty hand, neron, nekron, the great darkness, anti monitor, darkseid, imperiex, omega titans,the upside down man, Starro, and that’s just naming a few

Poison Ivy, Mr. Bloom, and Ra's Al Gul can easily level the whole world down. They are so powerful that they can end the world. Poison ivy has the potential to create a Last of us scenario as seen in her recent limited solo series, Mister Bloom is basically Slenderman on steriods and a genius level intelect, and the Ra's needs no explanation.
She is a genius scientist as well, capable of creating various kinds of mutant plants.

Be a different actor/ face to carry the franchise. Cavill was messed around with, which is rough, but he isn't the de-facto suoerman, someone else will takeover and will prolly give a better performence. What I'm saying is don't blame Gunn, he chose the best option.

That said, Firestorm has an underrated rogues gallery with some heavy hitters. The first Killer Frost (Crystal Frost) once froze all of NYC and held its then-8 million inhabitants hostage. Typhoon's powers make him a global-level threat, though he died in Doomsday Clock. The others (Multiplex, Hyena, Black Bison, Plastique, etc.) aren't as powerful, but memorable in their own right.

I feel like if we’re talking “most powerful” and “most Dangerous” are two different things. Superman and XMen rogue gallery is up there for most powerful sure. But most dangerous imo has to be Batman’s.

This whole thing is a good argument for why being more powerful doesn't make something inherently more interesting. You can throw in obscure cosmic and reality level threats, things that can threaten whole solar systems or all of existence without much effort, but that's so far removed from something relatable that it's harder for the average reader to comprehend on an emotional level. There's just something more fun about a guy with a superiority complex leaving dopey riddles around, and something more tense about a rich psycho with pumpkin bombs finding out who your family is.

Just wondering how big of a threat is Imperiex from DC?
Imperiex is quite forgetable, imo. He's universal at best and he's nothing without his "bomb" plot. He's easily outclassed against other universal threats such as Hal/Parallax, Brainiac, Doomsday.
X-men is fair, but in terms of who has the most insufferable, nastiest, human trash of a villian it's the Flash. Eobard Thawne is built different. Bro is just wierd. He's way too into it. When Batman's so done with your bs that he takes a gun and shoots you in the back of the head, you're different (to be fair, it was Thomas tho).
Most dangerous rogues galleries?
I would think of:
-Green Lantern's rogues
-Thor's rogues (Loki, Mangog, Surtur, Hela, Gorr the God Butcher etc).
-Superman's rogues (Darkseid, Mongul, Brainiac, Doomsday etc).
-The F4's rogues (Galactus, Dr. Doom, Super-Skrull etc).
-The Flash's rogues (all the evil speedsters, Gorilla Grodd and the Rogues).
Can't think of others at the moment but I think it's enough.
My first thought was the X Men rouges gallery. Wanda alone but also inhumans and avengers technically and many more also in a roundabout way the Phalanx and their creators, forgot the name.
I agree with you all the way, I mean just Magneto alone can control blood if he wanted to, because blood has iron in it, and iron is a type of metal, thats crazy, and Fantastic 4 has one of my favorites as well, Dr.Doom.

I find people like Darkside, who have literally destroyed universes being a little bit more powerful than any of the X-Men villains have done. Then you have reverse flash, who have literally changed timelines, but at the same time, I like, seeing X-Men villains not being under played.
Any villain can be over powering if the right story is told so it is just a personal choice for the fan. As long as great stories continue in both companies I say who cares keep telling great stories
