Super Stellar Friday: Understanding the Night Sky

Discovery Center Educator and Astronomy Instructor Dave McDonald will give a live presentation, Understanding the Night Sky, via Zoom webinar. McDonald will discuss patterns in the sky, how to find planets, and the classification of stars. Following the presentation, McDonald will answer audience questions in a Q & A session.
David McDonald, M.Ed., has been passionate about astronomy since he was in middle school. Dave has previously been the Director of Education at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center for ten years. He has instructed astronomy classes at Granite State College, NHTI, Plymouth State University Graduate School, and currently at Belmont High School. Dave brings a wealth of information in an understandable way featuring his light-hearted approach to exploring Astronomical subjects.
