- Riding the GT on the beach for the first time. It was a super windy day so I've done my best to reduce the windy audio. Had my first motor overload beep floating in the sand. It doesn't handle the beach quite as well as the XR but I think thats because of the higher tyre/tire pressure I was running that day. My XR is 16psi and the GT was at about 20.

6:59 the only time I have heard my GT beep is when I into thick grass. So the sand is probably about the same. Anyways.... Thanks for the zenful video.
It’s only done it that once. The sand was a bit soft that day. 👍🏼
Have you had any issues since riding on the beach? I’ve got a GT too but haven’t tried a beach ride yet
Not at all. I give it a good clean afterwards if I think it’s been too close to salt water but I don’t think sand is a problem.

Yeah, I’ve never had any problems though and I’ve been riding it around for 14 months. My policy is to just not stop. It can’t be confiscated if I don’t stop. 😎
If you turn on your GT and just don't touch it for about 10min, does it shut itself off? Mine does. Also, if you're riding and your phone dies and the board is connected to the app will it affect the board while riding at all?
Hey mate, I’m not sure about it switching itself off, I’ve never tried it.
As for the dead phone, the board will be the same you just won’t know exactly what the battery percentage it. You’ll see when it’s low by the yellow indicator on the light at though so it wouldn’t matter too much if your phone died.
@@eekdestroy5329 I have another question. I just bought a GT yesterday. I have the app set for the battery to stop charging at 90%. I didn't have the app open during charging. I unplugged board, and turned it on and app says it at 99% charge which it shouldn't be. DO you have to keep your bluetooth on and app open when charging, mine charged to 99% which it shouldn't have.
@@stevenjennings233 I wouldn’t have thought so. I normally just keep an eye on it and stop it where I want. I live on a hill so I have to ride up the hill before I can go down it.

Is it that much better than the stock treaded tyre? Is it good on and off road?

🤣 they are shin pads under my jeans. The tight jeans act as kind of knee supports on long rides.
