- Started cutting first crop hay on May 29th. Merged the next day with our JD 7700 and Kuhn MM700 merger and had a good crew going that helped chopped and bag the feed for our dairy cows. We were also pumping our pit at the same time so there was a lot of action at the farm.

min horsepower neeeded to run merger ?
Our 7700 is about 130 hp and we wouldn't want anything less in some hilly fields
What is the piece of equipment being used to harvest the windrows? Specifically lol I’m down in a Fl and looking to start bagging haylage and nobody around here has ever done it. Any advice or insights would be much appreciated.
