The family dog was the last one to see Erwin alive (except for his killers). When Erwin got into the car with them, as the drove down the road the dog chased down the car. Erwin asked them to stop the car so they could send the dog back home. Then he drove off and never seen alive again.

Rommel had a son name Manfred who served as mayor of Stuttgart for a long time and passed away few years ago as mayor. He was friend with England’s Montgomery’s sons and many other folks.
They say Rommel was involved in Valkyrie and the assassination of AH, he was given the option of suicide (cyanide pill) or face execution by a firing squad. He chose the latter to save his family for being related to a traitor and suffer all kinds of indignities branded his family with this burden. In addition, the family was to lose his pension that they needed to survive.
He must be one of humanity’s greatest tactical battle commander and strategist in the class of Hannibal, Napoleon, Saladin, Julius Caesar and others. Wonder if he would’ve made a good politician as goo$ as being a soldier.

This is the villa of Mr. Goebbels and his wife Magdalene ( Magda ). This villa is named Schwanenwerder and is located on the island of the same name on Havel. If you are interested in the exact location, you can check it out online.

Yes. There were some facts that show Rommel took part in an assasination attempt which was made to kill Hitler. But it's still not certain that whether if Rommel took part in the assasination or not. After this turned out, Hitler decided to eliminate Rommel. But because Rommel was very popular among the Germans and because Hitler wanted to make a war propaganda by Rommel's death, they forced him to commit suicide. Rommel agreed because he wanted to protect his family.
