- Several clips of the propaganda film "Sommer 1942" (Summer 1942) made to celebrate Joseph Goebbels birthday (the father of the children featured here). For some reason, this has been edited and it cuts off several scenes. I do not own this video nor audio. This was uploaded by Marie Köhler on Vimeo. All rights go to the respectful owner.

Hello all, if you remember Frida's channel, the channel that had many videos of the Goebbels children, and are unable to find it, her channel was unfortunately taken down by CZcams as of 6th of September 2021 I believe.

The death of these innocent children is so heartbreaking.
I don't know if you've seen the movie the downfall, but this senseless death of all the Jewish people, and then Joseph gobbles gave her the options of For with her six children, but she decided that Hitler was more important. And that made me so angry. I just couldn't get over that I still couldn't get over that.. to execute your beautiful children for the devil. It is really heartbreaking.

Magda worshipped Hitler.
Magda's son, Harald, was a POW when his mother killed his step-siblings. He went on to be a successful industrialist.
He was also only 23 when it happened.
I cannot imagine being a POW and finding out your own mom killed your little sisters and brother. I am an older sibling myself, and I would rather die than let somebody do any harm to my little brother and sister. I’m 25 years old, two years older than he was at the time.
I also cannot imagine being only 23 years old and finding out that my siblings were dead and my own mom was likely responsible for it.
I would imagine that I myself would be shattered with guilt, rage, and grief and live out the rest of my life with a giant void in my heart and wanting to go join my siblings.
The fact these ''parents'' documented their children makes the fact they killed them even more disturbing. Can you imagine being so brainwashed you kill your own kids.
The children were just used as propaganda to show the Germans an “ideal aryan family”. Joseph the father was the propaganda minister.
In times of great disillusionment, fear and panic, people make devastatingly poor decisions. Most of us cannot even begin to imagine what it must have been like for anyone.

Oh my God this breaks my heart! The children are so young and innocent. For her to say that she never sees her papa because he's always busy at work is just unbelievable because we know exactly what he was doing. I can't speak German at all so if anybody does in the comments can you tell me what she is saying to her? I've always known what she did to her children, and it infuriates me that she stayed there when she could at least tried to flea with them.. to me that makes her the most horrific mother and it just seems to me like she never loved them at all. Who does this to your children no one. Her heart and soul was more important to Hilter than her family 😢😢

I watched the movie The Downfall .. my family is German. my grandfather fought and World War II he was a fighter pilot, but he fought for the Americans. I've always been fascinated by World War II and the Holocaust,why it happened, how it happened, how Germans think about it now and my dream is to visit Germany. I don't know if you've seen this movie called Look who's back, it's about Hitler waking up in the year 2014 right in the place of his bunker and he has no idea where he is. In the first 30 minutes of it is just hilarious. Because no idea what's going on but then it gets very weird. It gets very uncomfortable. I don't know as a mother, I can't imagine Hitler being more important than my six children. it just pull my heartstrings. I mean all of it all of it.. thank you for deciphering that letter for me. Hope you are doing well.
