Top 5 takeaways from Principles: Life and Work:
0:00 Intro
00:10 1. Create Principles: Systemize Your Decision-Making!
03:36 2. The 5-Step Process to Ultimate Success
07:05 3. Be Radically Open-Minded
09:50 4. How To Handle Your Weaknesses

TL;DW:
- To be more efficient in your decision-making process, you must create principles. Also, this is essential for evaluating and improving.
- Have clear goals, don’t tolerate problems, diagnose problems’ root causes, design plans to get around problems and do what’s necessary to remove them
- You must be radically open-minded - WHAT is right is far more important than WHO is
- The best ways to cope with your weaknesses is to either try to work at them, find ways around them, or changing what you’re going after
- Learn how to synthesize well - get as accurate of a picture of reality as possible
My goal with this channel is to help you make more money and improve your personal finances. How to become a millionaire? There are many ways to get there - investing in the stock market, becoming a stock trader, doing real estate investing, or why not becoming an entrepreneur? But whether you are interested in how to invest in stocks or investing strategies for creating passive income with rental properties - I hope to be able to provide you with a solution (or at least an idea) here. Warren Buffett - the greatest investor of our time - says that you should fill your mind with competing ideas and then see what makes sense to you. This channel is about filling your mind with those ideas. And in the process - upgrading your money-making toolbox.

Amazing, thank you!
Can anyone tell me who is the person at minute 3:14 who said "Talk to people"? I think is an author of a book, but I don't remember his name. Please guys, help me!
To the person reading this: Even though I don’t know you, I wish you the best of what life has to offer ❤

Can’t get over how underrated this channel is. As a beginning investor you’ve put me on the fast track to becoming better. Love the related topics too about economics and psychology. They definitely compliment each other. I love that I can use it as an audiobook but it’s also like an adult illustrated book. Helps me know which books I want to prioritize to dive in deeper, but in the mean time I can keep the most important principles in mind during the early stages of building wealth. I will always recommend your channel.
I challenged myself to pick up graphic design so I can start an apparel side hustle. Hopefully I can scale it up to a business. I’m already making some designs. My brand “xxxx” (still have to get it copyrighted) but it’s about greatness and not just for athletes. I’ll reach out to you for a shipping address/PO box when I finally make a product I’m 100% satisfied with. It’d be an honor to pay it forward to you and hopefully get a shoutout if you like it.
Before 2023 for accountability!
The greatest hedge fund manager ever. Legend.

WOW LOVED IT THANK YOU FRIEND...
You're welcome man, glad that you liked it 😁
The success of this approach taught me a principle that I apply to all parts of my life: Making a handful of good uncorrelated bets that are balanced and leveraged well is the surest way of having a lot of upside without being exposed to unacceptable downside.
Thank you very much
I follow your channel for some time now and red a few of the books you made video about
It really helps understand the book better
Great job
My recommendation is not about investments but i think it will help the viewers in their studies and in analyzing information better
The book is called "make it stick" and it talks about the best way to to study and teach
I think it could be of great value for the viewers (and also you)
,Thnks great video...
Great job
Lots of love.
I've learnt so much from this channel. You've made learning investment so much easier to digest. Keep up with the good work! Can you please do a video on Ray Dalio's new book "Principles for Dealing with the Changing World Order: Why Nations Succeed and Fail"? Thank you.
awesome ! great addition of real life examples to create laughter haha.
Really amazed by your capability to synthesize lots of great sophisticated books into 5 key simple takeaways each. If possible, I would recommend a review on strategy book: "the 33 strategies of war" by Robert Greene
Loved the summary. Could you do summary video on how to retire with passive investments. Like index funds or other funds and how much to contribute. May be summarize few retirement books.
This is excellent and can be applied to many aspects of life. Can you do a video on the Book of Five Rings and Sun Tzu
Thank you
THX, systems, repetition, progress, consistent, principles, identify problems.
Ty sir
Please do one for big debt crisis 🙏
Here two principals (and also book titles I recommend for you to make a video summary of) that helped me the most:
1. 80/20 principle by Richard Koch
2. Work the system by Sam Carpenter
Great one! Got a great meal for thought! Would you be able to do one for 'Work the system' as well, if this hasn't been done already? Thank you,
Appreciated the humour
Good video
Please do the book summary/5 take aways of each AL BROOKS book.
hi!! really love ur videos!! where do u animate this!! asking for a school project!
Great vídeo, which SW do you use? Doodle?
I've heard Dalio on CBS 60 Minutes and I've heard about his book Principles, but I wasn't entirely interested. But I found myself pleasantly pleased and surprised with this video of the summary, considering that Dalio generally state that his Principles consist of about 200+ principles.
Please review on What It Takes by Schwarzman Stephen A. Thanks for the great content, keep up the good work!
Please review a new book called "Invested" or any one of the prequels "Rule #1" or "Payback Time" ( I own all three, great reads)
I hope one day this to be the biggest channel for investing knowledge out there... because for me it is the best... how can i buy stocks of it? 😂😂
Cheers Luis Augusto! 🙌 I appreciate it a ton! Haha, I'll be sure to have an IPO if and when the "CZcams-bubble" begins
Please review to us on the book You were born rich with its deep insights.
You should review Buffetology and the buffetology workbook at some point!
Quick question/poll here:
What percentage of this book is pure, unadulterated finance/investment and what is simple self-help, motivational?
Ray Dalio is still writing his book on Economic and Investment Principles, so if you are searching for finance/investment advice, Principles is not the book you are looking for. He wrote a great book about Debt Crisis recently that makes financial crisis like 2008 and the current crisis easier to understand and be prepared for, you might want to take a look at that one. About the Principles book, all I can say is that although calling it "self help" might be technically correct, it’s far from covering how grounded and impactful it is. Those principles drive Bridgewater’s management, the largest hedge fund in the world. If you want to have a better idea of how those principles are applied at Bridgewater, look for Ray Dalio’s TED talk. Hopefully that’s somewhat helpful :)
can you do a video of the changing world order?
please review some books related to real estate investments
Stay tuned 😁
Can you do a video on super trader?
You mention Eiichiro Oda while showing a picture of Eiji Aonuma... It's like you used voice recognition to search for a picture and ended up with a similar-sounding result. =P
does he essentially mean like a "plan" when he says principles?
Fantastic content btw, I’m a religious follower
😍🙌
I honestly did not know you were that jacked :O
Hahaha, this comment will get a heart, 100%! Cheers Saw Guoyi!

Be obsessed or be average
Yeah sure you were going to bench press that - lucky if you can do 1 plate with that physique
I am assuming you mean your workouts are 3x/week and not 3x/day, that is a little excessive. You would have zero muscle recovery.
Haha indeed, definitely a mistake in there!
I mean you could hypothetically do yoga, weight lifting, and martial arts in the same day with plenty of recovery time. Maybe even throw in a run
Nobody's working out 20 times a week though I see what you're saying
I appreciate the attempt at humour, it comes across as trying a bit to hard in my opinion. I know this is not the intent but it is a so spontaneous and kind of cheesy that it comes across as slightly patronizing. I would say that the skits would be funnier if they came across as more organic and less over the top.
Love the feedback Brendan! Thank you for the constructive criticism 👍
A glorified diary or personal journal or life pathway
Ah fuck that i rather read the book, ray recently explained on youtube about minimise risk in diversifing assets which i think is really important and guys guys failed to mention it
Constructive feedback: The video clips don't add to the video. This isn't a comedy channel, its an information channel. Add value to the info.
Thank you for the feedback Toni Capone. I want this to be educational but playful at the same time, so I will probably not remove the clips from the videos. It also adds a personal touch I think. However, I may have to think twice about which videos to add.
@@TheSwedishInvestor Dont listen to him. I think you achieve a great balance between attention grabbing humour and book analysis. In fact, i have watched many of your vids, and so far THIS IS THE BEST ONE, and the concepts from the book seem to be more subtle. Keep it up mate !
