WOW this is amazing standard for workmanship love how you make a simple tool look so incredibly elegant, more videos like this. And keep up the amazing work. 🔥🔥
Oh, wow. These are beautiful. Nice work. The sanded down version is incredible. Both are! I can't decide which I like more. I'm going to have to try and do this to some steel rod. I love the look it has.
Excellent!! It occurs to me that a similar technique could be used for screwdrivers to fit screws on bench planes. Also, you need a mini lathe. A 7 x 14 would be great for making handles like these.
you could give me one since you made two. you may choose which one you want to keep for yourself LOL i make scribes and awl’s out of broken screwdrivers, yours look much better ! cheers !
Wonderfully made tools. I wonder why the old time toolmakers made the length of the shaft so long? Something a quarter the length would have worked also.
Why do you shoot horizontally flipped video ? You are not Left-Handed.....and Your Wood Lathe looks weird !!! Hope you correct this in post-edit in your future videos.
Both design ideas are great, but I especially like the sanded-down version!
I love how beautiful the walnut looks on your handmade tool. Excellent choice.
When it's all said and done, they are two awesome awls, and that's all I have to say!!! Thanks!!!
Beautiful work.

Once again you have proven that you are a great Toolmaker. I love these awls. Nice job.

You need a small metal lathe
This costs more than $500.00.
Why do you shoot horizontally flipped video ? You are not Left-Handed.....and Your Wood Lathe looks weird !!! Hope you correct this in post-edit in your future videos.
