    im using KOH. one thing i didn't mention in the vid is that i have literally had it running for a week straight with no heating problems and the water is still perfectly clear of any scum.

  • @Hydrogen4Health
    @Hydrogen4Health  Před 15 lety

    yes this is my own. i had the plates cut to my specs. i don't have a veriac so i wont be able to put more than 11.5v into it until i get it into the neon. i received 208 plates today to build some of these and i also have 112 9x9 plates that i plan building one massive dry cell with. stay tunned for that video in a couple of weeks.

    air is lighter than water: only bubbles will travel upwards. water can not fight the gravity, unless a pump is used or by capillarity action. as a result, your electrolizer will get hot soon.

  • @Hydrogen4Health
    @Hydrogen4Health  Před 15 lety

    give this setup a try. as the HHO is forced up the tube it creates a back preasure on the intake tube making a pumping action. the water is circulated through the system.

    @panamjack It actually is a 16 plate cell now and is available on the website.

  • @Hydrogen4Health
    @Hydrogen4Health  Před 12 lety +1

    @Melvinizel always use distilled water. The minerials in tap water will damage the plates. You can use NaOH instead of KOH. It is easier to find. {sodium hydroxide}

  • @Hydrogen4Health
    @Hydrogen4Health  Před 14 lety

    @Video85Man A relay is basically a high current switch. A on/off switch.

  • @Hydrogen4Health
    @Hydrogen4Health  Před 14 lety

    @htiekeith I have a video about this somewhere. you will just have to find it but what I do Is to hook into the fuel pump relay in the fuse box. Usually 5 pin there is a pin that is only hot when the engine is running. I run my wire from there to the hydroxy relay.

  • @Hydrogen4Health
    @Hydrogen4Health  Před 12 lety

    @pgpeachess Yes the bubbles have buoyancy and will always travel upwards. This creates a back pressure on the input port of the cell and causes the water to circulate.

  • @Hydrogen4Health

    i made the gaskets out of EPDM rubber. the unit has been running for over 100 hours with no sign of leaching from either the plates or the rubber.

    Congrats ! Very nice generator and thinking about it : What happen if you add a ON-OFF switch on the fuel pump relay and be able to cut the fuel delivery to the engine ? Of course that switch you intalled and tne one cutting the fuel will be locate on the dash board. My idea is to go 100% hydrogen at my choise. thanks.

    Man, you produce a lot of steam.
    Try 5n and 5-6 Amp. than light on the gas.
    I recommend to plug your ears.

  • @frank0067
    @frank0067 Před 13 lety +1

    what is super efficient about it.. a normal 20 amp cell gets 1.5 to 2 lpm..
    a higher efficient cell gets over 2 to to 2.5 .. a super effecient gets over 3 lpm ..
    what am i missing?

  • @jhs061
    @jhs061 Před 15 lety

    I have the same plastic reservoir and it has a vented cap. You need to plug the hole in the cap and conduct a new test. I can tell from experience that you are producing closer to 4.0lpm than 1.3lpm

  • @Hydrogen4Health
    @Hydrogen4Health  Před 15 lety

    it just depends on the cars alternators output. my dodge neon has a 120amp rating. so im ok to put 25-30 amps from it.

  • @Kimfatt
    @Kimfatt Před 12 lety +2

    1.3 LPM (mix gas product)
    20 A (DC Current)
    10.38 V (DC Voltage)
    207.6 watt (power consumption)
    Electrolysis efficiency = 0.875162349

  • @Hydrogen4Health

    @htiekeith The hydroxy acts as a catalyst for the the gasoline help it burn better. There isn't enough hydroxy itself to do any damage to the engine. Even If there were enough It burns so quickly and so completely that heat doesn't build up like gasoline.

  • @pgpeachess

    @delvis11 Thank you for that. Do you suggest using distilled water with sea salt on it? I have tried it, but I think the stainless plates are burning and eroding. What about my electrical wires were heating up? Is it because of my numerous postives and negatives? I will try your suggested connection and update you on its output.

  • @htiekeith
    @htiekeith Před 14 lety

    Nice production.I just have one question.If it burns hotter when used with gas in a car,isnt there a chance that the valves will warp from the hotter temp and how about the alumunim pistons,can they get a burn hole threw them.No one talks about this.???I have been wanting to build one ,but dont want to do damage to V8.And also ,how about the sensor on the exaust maifold ? THANKS

    What is the difference between using only plain water and distilled water with KOH? I have tried using plain water and I am disappointed with the output. KOH here is hard to come buy, what other electrolyte will you suggest? Thank you very much for the big help.

  • @Melvinizel
    @Melvinizel Před 12 lety

    Hi! I have 12 plates 4x4 stainless. They heat up very fast. What can you suggest? What is the use of the relay and what is the connection?

  • @Hydrogen4Health
    @Hydrogen4Health  Před 13 lety

    @frank0067 You have to think about when this video was made. I designed this cell right when dry cells started showing up. At the time it was considerably more efficient than all the wet cells that were floating around. When you say 20 amps I assume you are calculating your lpm with 12v. A super efficient cell can now get 1.5 lpm at 20 amps but 2,2.5 and 30 are all overunity.

  • @ChowZeb
    @ChowZeb Před 15 lety

    so this thing makes hydrogen and then you could use the hydrogen for car fuel?

  • @ineverhadthemoney7857

    do you add baking soda ?

  • @pgpeachess
    @pgpeachess Před 12 lety

    @delvis11 not true! only a small percentage of the water will do that. water does not travel upwards by itself; the gasses produced, if they would create pressure, it would be the other way in this case, but gasses will come out first and not the water, being heavier of course. thanks anyway!

  • @Hydrogen4Health
    @Hydrogen4Health  Před 12 lety

    @Melvinizel make 8 plates neutral, It will help with the heat. config like this
    +nnnn-nnnn+ The relay is just a on/off switch
