Him: there is a high chance you will get cut.
Me: *laughs in trainer*
same im on a squiddy cus im broke
@@konikkoo wait nvm i realized squiddy is 109$ CAD so yea 10$ knives are okay they just need to be taken apart and put a certain way
@@konikkoo I'm using a $30 trainer
surprisingly I got cut by a trainer but it wasn’t by the blade, where the screws are holding up the balisong, it pinched between my pinky and opened some skin.
@@form825 same i was practising half orbit
could always practice with the other handle until you get it
great tip!
ik that is what i started to do
Or you could use a trainer knife that has a fake blade
BiggaNill well I grabbed bite handle and well my finger ouch
Works perfect lol
The slow motion is what makes these videos superior. Thank you so much for taking the time, man. I got this one down in 10 tries with only a small cut (I'm learning live blade for discipline). Keep up the great work and watch those bites.
I choose get cut now lol
Ahaha
A pro move he didn't mention is you can just make the knife go faster so you cut your fingers cleen of. That way the knife is closed and you can no longer get cut. 😂
This is by far the best tutorial of the wrist pass I have found. Thank you for breaking it down in detail. Awesome video!
your welcome dude! I remember when I first learned I was like wtf is a wrist pass for the longest time and I couldn't find anything on it. thanks for watching!
I know your pain buddy!
You’re literally the best at explaining balisong tricks.
When you have to take blood thinners, the little cuts you get from the knife bleed like crazy. Use a trainer until you're more practiced.
yo be careful bro
Baislongs with an actual balde r illegal in my state anyway so not a thing I have to worry about lol
@@pineapplefighter3346 Illegal to own, or illegal to carry?
For some reason I really like this move! Its just satisfying to pull off and looks really cool as a combo finisher, imo.
Really good tutorial btw! Helped me a lot!
thanks so much, I've been trying Zen roll overs for like 20 minutes, this really helped
Best tutorial for me so far. the trick that you move your hand from down to up explained the hand movement for me
Thanks to big flips😊. Tutorial helped a lot in learning the helix and made my day
Learned it in this whole video so 6 minutes I mean I cut the tops of two fingers but no pain no game

I’ve learned so many tricks from u dude keep up the good work
I came from artsea’s video to this one and you are so much better at explaining it
Same
same because she doesn’t go in depth at all. I knew he’d have us covered
This was very useful to help with the zen rollover
Love the thumbnails and videos keep up the good work
Thanks brah. making the thumbnails is probably my favorite part. thanks for watching!
"so either you're gonna get cut now, or you'll get cut later" in bob ross voice. dammit you're a funny dude
i just wantet to say that yor vids are so amazing and i love the explaining bc you dont rush truh it your explaining it step ny step thanks for it
THIS TUTOURIAL IS AMAZING REALLY HELPS
All the other videos I watch on this just say "do this" and they don't even do in depth on how to actually do it but this guy does!!! Kudos to you!!!

Thank you so much bro!!! Your Awesome and deserve Alot more subscribers!!!!,Your a Great Teacher and really explain it Very well!!!!!🤙👐👍 Almost all my moves I learned from you!!!!Keep up the Great work brotha!!!!!!
just started flipping and found your vids are the best
I was watching this lady called ArtSea do the wrist pass and I could not understand how she did it so I came to you. Now I got it easy because you did a slow mo version thank youuu
Artsea's tutorials aren't the best in my own personal opinion
Yeah no kidding
My favorite open/close trick
You explained it real good
Thanks alot I really love ur tutorials
Keep up the food work :)
You’re probably not gonna see this but thanks man. Best butterfly knife tricks channel ever!
Thank you so much, great video!
OMG thank you so much this helped a lot!
Damn this is one of the most satisfying tricks yet for me
Really? Mine was the backhand twirl
Thank you because I couldn’t find ANY GOOD TUTORIALS
I think this trick looks pretty cool
“Your gonna get cut anyways”
Me with a trainer:
Fax
the chanceof getting cut by a trainer is low
but never zero
jk lmao
@@redxcalibur1358 I have tho...
shows how good I am
*crys in bruises*
Cry after dropping the trainer on my foot and hitting my knuckles with the handles
wow thanks this helped a lot
So I got my Balisong and is still learning some beginner openings and closings and this move is one of my toughest openings, but I kept practicing and I got the hang of it like when ever I do openings and closings on my Balisong’s my fingers move on command.😂
I personally use a Bali comb to train, and it still gives that feeling of “ouch” so you know your doing something wrong
i just learned helix today so happy!
Yassss thanks bro for uploading
super easy trick to learn
very helpful points, thanks for the clear explanation!
Thanks for watching dude much appreciated!
Not one cut and I got it. Thanks
dude keep up the vids they are awesome!
im planning on it. glad you like em. new vid comin tomorrow it's going to be a pretty interesting one.
could you just do this trick while starting on the safe handle? Feels and looks the same to me. Love the videos!
THNKS THIS TUTOURIALMIS AMAZING RELLY HELPS
I've learned every trick in order in 1 hour this is fun
Sweet got it on first try...second weeker
Thx this really helped alot
Thanks now I can finally do a zen rollover
I have beendoing that sort of push away gravity move a lot, as I never had structure
thanks for the tutorial! Ive been searching for tutorials for the wrist pass. but i Name it The cAn GeT cUt TrIcK
Good quarantine hobby. : ) Hey what knife are you using in the video?
knowing it's the floor and not a wall from the catapult video make more sense with this one .. i didn't get this move before and now it's almost easy. Just need some practice ...
Big help thx
Great vid
Wow I don't cut doing this but the table top thats a pro move.
Big Flips I think it looks cool. My knife is just made out of paper.
This video rose my blood pressure
Is using the bite handle just to discipline you and teach you to avoid the blade? Cause I first learned this with the safe handle. And also, are there tricks that absolutely require the wrist pass to be done with the bite handle, or can it be done on the safe? I'd imagine it's all the same due to the symmetry of the knife? Thanks.
Im a natural I got my butterfly knife today and i can already do a wrist pass without getting cut! :)
Your talking about the xy plane in the traditional xyz 3D space🤓 great vid🥳😎
I know 6 years ago, but i really appreciate how he acknowledges the people who have a live blade when I think most beginners will be learning tricks on trainers. I just dont see why you would want a live blade if you arent actually cutting anything.
What also Helps is practise it with the safe handle :)
What should I do about the latch? Every time I try the part where the blade is coming towards my fingers the latch comes up between my palm and the bite handle
i learned this just by looking at the slow-mo it's just that easy
I feel like I'm doing it right but at the same time I feel like I'm doing it wrong XD
same
If you still having your 5 fingers, that means that you were doing it right.
@@fathe3217 most people have 10
@@Sillybuns985 could debate how wrong is too wrong
thnks my friend
Thanks I can do a wrist pass now
is this a basic open just at a different angle and using the bite instead of the safe? im not seeing the differance, maybe im doing it wrong idk.
dude thank you for it!! im from ukraine and i understend not all of this video but when you show every steps slowly i understend you
Quick question where did you get a butterfly knife like a sharp one aren't they illegal in Colorado and if you're not in Colorado you know how to get one in Colorado
this one isn’t too difficult and honestly i think it looks sick as a beginning move
I don’t know why but I found the wrist pass harder to understand than the y2k lol (but this vid really helped me understanding it ty)
Why does it start with the bite handle? I tried it with the safe one and it just works as well with the blade correctly oriented.
Ik im veeery late but awesome vid, idk y but with other videos I just couldn’t get it but watching this I’m doing it super fast with ing minutes
Haha you think you're late
whenever im doing a trick with the bite handle i usually toss it up and catch it by the safe handle if it's coming at my fingies
What is the closing you did at the start of the video? The really short one.
Took me 10 Episodes to realize this BUT, most beginner tricks have this Figure 8 motion to them, it's a back and forth pattern you just groove with
thx
This is great I tried WeAreArtSeas tutorial but they were too fast but still good I think this is better
same
From i got my first balisong (sheap, honed, even) Unless i am doing something specific stfter, I never fully wrap my last three finger around the handle any more than that the blade can pass. I Think due to this and my weird wristpassses. I mostlu just hold the sides in pinch grips no matter, so there are almost no surprises.. It is probably "wrong " to someone, but I tworiks
I like this trick more theb the double rollout
"Good luck and dont get cut" 🤣🤣
Live blades are very good for training. Getting the move wrong results in instant pain. Getting the move right is an accomplishment accompanied by the peace of mind knowing you're one step closer to getting it right.
Until you cut a nerve 😅
this move is clutch good jod teaching it.
ya bro! thanks for watching as always!
That's se first tuto then i found it easy

I practiced with my butterfly trainer but i didnt tuched the trainer blade... whoohoo!!! i know how to do it :D
Little question: How much (Weight) is your Knife that you used in this video
this knife is the benchmade model 51. it is 3.3 oz
Enoreyalp Anime gaming! for sure! at some point you are gonna have to use the bite handle. but using the safe handle to learn is a great idea.
I checked but can't see anything
I must say you are my favorite balisong CZcamsrs your videos are engaging and are very clearly instructed I appreciate you taking the time to make videos to teach newbies like me.
Him: There is a high chance you will get cut
Me: laughs with a butterflyknife comb in my hand
I legit use this to open the knife every time because its so smooth, although i do cut myself doing it every once ina while
jokes on you i got a trainer blade since my old one broke
Is the bite handle always the one with the lock??
I was learn behind the 8 ball, then went to the zen roll tutorial, and now I’m here
for some reason i just cant do this. im not that good and ive got the main motion down but when i need to flip my hand over it feels forced rather than the momentum carrying it. its at 0:36
I have been struggling with this for such a long time. I didn't realize I should only have used 3 fingers to catch lmao
I learned it and didnt get cut amazing
