You think that's fast? It's faster than you think. By the time you blink, the whole universe shrink.
In reality that other guy is probably faster when the knife is in hand. Here's his vid. It's a goodie. • WORLD'S FASTEST WAY TO... - Jak na to + styl
Every time I show someone my balisong, they "teach" me this new trick they discovered, which is this one.
I like that no matter how simple the trick is, he always explains it in-depth and never dissapoints

jayDeN431 he probably has an orange wall lol. Also orange is a nice color
@@jcpenney17814 its not a wall

@@BigFlips 4 year update: have you licked the jam off your wrist yet?
Your right, I have seen that video, and now you have a new subscriber, you earned it, this series is great
awesome glad u like it!. some of his tricks are cool. "the black belt" is neat and I like to do it sometimes. thanks for watching!
1:16 my heavy metal dragon trainer, "CRUNCH" bye bye knuckles
I know how it feels
I just got a trainer and I’m kinda waiting to be all bruised up✌️😬
me: "this is so easy, I won't cut myself."
me, seconds later; *grabs blade and nearly loses tip of finger* " ah."
Well my thoughts r same
And then after 3 successes i began to take the "quickdraw" from pocket plus stab
It did cut deep to my index ;-;
How naive i am
To me I did it
@@Dz73zxxx ouch
this shouldve been the first ep
you are just good :p I put this one later cause of the cut risk!

Love you all
Big Flips u are a g ur a great teacher I got my first trainer bail song on xmas and use tought me so much within 3 days I love the hand twist it's my fav move at the moment love u keep up the good work
Sad thing is I play with my trainer so much I do tricks I don't even know lol
lmao invent some tricks and teach me
Ocean Dweller same
I just love your thumbnails
I like this it’s like a vertical but more faster also tysm for teaching this and putting these vids on yt i have learnt a lot from it
your chanel is honestly the best for learning new tricks, i learned so many and still am, but damn i got cut sooo many times my fingers are covered in deep scars lmao, we love that... y'all should definitely use a trainer, don't make the same mistake as i did
Nice package shot😤😤👏
i kept doing this just messing around before i knew how to use one of these
I think you should do a slow mo compassion between this and the "latch drop". The "latch drop" (for me anyways) is lightning fast. Possibly because my 62 did not come with a pocket clip therefore it's loose in my pocket and I almost always pull it out in position for a "latch drop"
great Idea... never thought of the latch drop as being fast for some reason but it might even be faster!
I didn't even know this was the fastest opening, right when I got my trainer thats the opening I used 😂. And Do you think a $70 Benchmade 51 clone will work good as a starter knife? I ordered it because I don't have the money to afford the real one sadly..
yeah you'll be fine with that. don't expect great things and it will probably break but it'll be good for a while most likely. you get what you pay for! good luck!
0ynt0 I got an amarey trainer off Amazon for like, ten bucks (without shipping) and it's pretty good. the occasional hammering on the handle rivets is the only thing you need to do to keep it in one piece. I have dropped it countless times time and it still works like a charm. not only but it is a full six ounces so you'll get really good at Aerials and things like the helix on lighter ones
Where did you buy your clone at?
isaac nice profile pic dude haha
"You may get cut a few times but that's alright you'll get used to it"
I remember when I first got my butterfly knife I did this trick without watching this video n out thinking it’s a trick but now thanks to u I now irealize I’m not a beginner
This is actually the first move I learnt lol
was thinking the same thing
first of all great videos man i like all your content second i wanted to ask what s wrong if we do it with the safe side or at least to train with it
no problem at all! you are just gonna have to switch at some point :) thanks for watching!
If you want to use the bite handle and bit get cut you can put tape on the blade.
If your not good at moveing your thumb fast you can do this with your other fingers instead. First hold by safe handel then flick up near back of your hand but like the fan turn it around at about half way up then open your finger and catch it . Can be done the other way around
For some reason I thought I didn’t know what this was but then I realized I was doing it while watching this 🤦♂️
I almost watched this whole video before realizing this is exactly what I did (still do it depending on mood) when I couldn’t do basic opens 😂
I got it its easy nice
Great tutorial
thanks bro!
very easy to do :)
I'm practicing this with my diy balisong from popsicle since a training balisong is expensive
this was the first move i learned
im not good but the series is helping me out so thx
Wrist pass saved my fingers while doing this
This is the first trick i learnt. But i learnt it on the safe handle
Slowly getting the hang of this one.
so why can't you do this with the opposite handle to be safer? seems like you would just flip sides and it would work the same. am i missing something?
that guy: FASTEST WAY TO OPEN YOUR BALISONG...
also big flips: quick draw (FASTER THAN LIGHT)
I just realized that it’s the first trick I learned because my mom taught me it
Never realized that this was how i opened it when i was new to flipping
Alpha Beast or Replicant. You gotta get both of those.
You MUST train this trick with the safe handle
wow i learned this whitout a knife... and i learned when i was a kid, today i have my knife...
best thing is that im using a dummy butterfly knife so it doesn't have a sharp edge, if you can get one then i would recommend it
How do you see it in the camera if its faster than light?
I have been doing this on my own I didem know that was a move
I kind lood this one when I watch a movie or smth
it's the most easiest way to open it for me
Funny enough the first time ive ever been handed a butterfly thats what i did it was so simple to think of
I did it
this dude is an amising teacher.
yeah thats it.
Rip, my trainer doesn’t work the same way. The blade doesn’t start moving with the sage handle until it’s already about 1/2 way around my hand
I've been doing this the whole time lol
i made my own balisong and it was a one sided blade, before it broke i learned a faster way to open it ( i think )
I seriously thought this wasn't even a trick since I didn't see it in episode 1. Was the first thing I "learned" after buying my balisong (it just came naturally).
I can’t do it quickly whenever I hold it by the bite handle it always latches shut and won’t open
Beat the latch off with a stone. Pretend it’s a worker in the gulag who doesn’t want to get up. Beat it with stone
the quickest draw in the west
great video!! easy trick and realy fast
Thanks dude!
So is it bad this is how I open my knife just after playing with it not watching any videos or any one telling me how to use one.
0:15 Lmao I used to do this trick without ever watching your vid
I compared the speed of a latch drop and quickdraw and found that when done the fastest, they are comparable. I thought the latch drop would be faster.
yeah its bout the same but for me its faster out of the pocket to quickdraw cause i have to spend a second setting up the latch drop!
You said I couldn't do it I tried it and got it first try
😮😮😮
i alredy new this lmao
Latch drop faster?
In Florida it's legal to own so I have a curved one I keep at home but I don't think they can do some of these
you should be able to itll just be harder!
i still cant do the wrist pass, any help?
That's what titanium dose my friend
any recommendations for a balisong around $100 price range, this Baliyo is not working for me.
save up for the benchmade 51. anything cheaper than that won't last through hard flipping in my experience. otherwise just get something that looks cool at whatever price but know that it will break.
It's basically just a wristwatch but 2× simple.
Is there any reason you would not learn this with the safe handle, then once you are comfortable doing it with the safe handle, start using the bite handle !? Seems kinda stupid and dangerous to learn with the bite handle if it can be learnt with the safe handle ...
For some people the only trick they'll have to learn is the basic opening and quick draw
why not just start with the safe handle
?
My Quickdraw is my slowest open 😂😂😂 im still 2 days into balisong and I already know 8 tricks 3 openings
I actually accidentally found this out by myself lol
You or someone else probably found it first tho
Me who has a training knife: i don't have such weaknesses
this is soooo damn detailed thank you!
exactly what I aimed for with my beginner tricks! thanks for watching!
Big Flips hey you should do a double handed butterfly knife trick vid!
might do might do! itll probably come up eventually once I get to teaching the advanced tricks!
Big Flips awesome! you'll look so ninja hahah
Big Flips and I was wondering can you do this with left hand?!?! I'm left handed
when a man comes up to you with a balisong and draws with a helix, avoid a confrontation
when a man comes up to you with a balisong and quickdraws, run
This is a balisong right?
yes sir!
Is there a link to buy this type of knife
check bladehq or knifecenter .com
Gary cleave
what knife do you use
this is the benchmade model 51!
Big Flips thank you i have learned so many tricks
and were did yo get it
just at a local knife store
Big Flips oh thx
Ez
It ended up flying out of my mom's window
I am become speed
This should have been the first trick
Meanwhile this was my first trick I learnt
Bruh I did this thinking it was the normal way to open it
lol why would i use a sharp blade if im a beginner
0:31
My latch is so bad i cant do this move without it getting in the way. I need to buy a better knife
The vid of the guy saying fastest way to open a balisong was right over this one.....
Big Flips: You might cut your self
Me: laughs in trainer
I am doing my tricks on a Balisong I 3D printed 5 hours ago, because I don’t want to pay for a real one
i blinked and the knife was open seriously
Latch drop:am i a joke to you?
I’m in Australia
anna maree want a medal?
Your probably going to get cut....
Me with a practice balisong: “okayyyyyy”
Bruise time
Get good at the oscar and its easily the fastest
I think everybody first did this lol
why not just use the safe handle?
Seems like the clip he uses to carry his blade forces him to draw it with the bite handle.
I draw it that fast i cant even open my thumb
