Clever thinking, but with noclip, you can't pick up the butterfly knife because your hand will be able to clip through anything.

It costed me 50 bucks, 13 fallen souls, and 12 replacement hands for me to master.
Compared to 500 bucks, 39 fallen souls and 9000 50. cal rounds for me to master the art of recoil
I am very new, just got my butterfly knife yesterday, and this was a very clear tutorial. I have been practicing for about 30 mins, and i think ive got it pretty good! Thanks for helping me learn my first knife trick!

Tip: twist when the free handle is about straight up so the forces don't collide harsh.

I taught myself a basic open, then I immediately watched this video. It took an hour and a half but I managed to "master" it
I went through this whole thing only to realize its a slightly different take on a trick I already know xD

Your version is different but more fun. In the game, the blade never touches the hand and gets thrown to the left as the blade and bite handle are still in the air. The balisong should also be facing more horizontal than you had it. The start is fine though! I only comment this because I was able to do it like in the game, minus the balisong going through my fingers :D
i find it more smooth when the last fling (which colides with your index finger) by holding the safe handle by pinching with inner index finger

I came to this video and half way through, realized I already do the spy opening easily. Slowing myself down confused me. So I just did it and went oh! I am already doing it lmao. From there, if you want to get fancy, I know in one of your other videos you do the finger flip thing. For me, after the final catch from here, I can spin it around and catch it like the stab very easily. A lot easier than the middle finger flip technique.
You can actually do this in one solid open/close motion without the need for the ricochet, all u need is momentum and your thumb, no need to pinch and ricochet. Great Vid!

i 3D printed a butterfly knife (its not sharp at all) and i have been messing around with it watching these and its been a fun learning experience
Just started flipping today and I actually came to this open all on my own. Same opening and closing
This actually look like it can be useful in a street fight, because the movement is quicker than other tricks
Not the Quickdraw and figure 8, those are way faster
in a street fight the most useful technique would be either a gun or running away, but if you insisted on fighting you can flip the knife up while spinning it and as long as your finger placement is right it'll come out in like 300ms, but this is one of the flashiest tricks that would work

balispongs are really good! go on the internet and find some goos options and start there! if you are a beginer, make sure you find a beginers knife

so i was too lazy to pull my finger off so i decided to do some modifications which include throwing the trainer slighty in the air after the catch with the thumb and somehow got a grip like if you were about to pull off a backstab
