Dax has thankfully learnt from his experiences and even though, not perfect - as noone is, his persistance and honesty is a something we all should do. We are part light and darkness. We must acknowledge both to be whole.

If you have insecurity issues, I think acting is NOT for you. For 98% of unknowns trying to break into the business, it's humiliating. I remember once waiting for an audition, outside in Van Nuys in the middle of summer for 3ish hours. Once inside, the 5-6 actors in front of me were asked to act like they were hailing a taxes and there was a sentence or two to read. When I FINALLY got my turn, the casing director said, "Oh GOD no....Next." - 3 hours waiting in the sun for being treated like an object. And that's auditioning.- And if you're lucky a few things will start happening for you, and just when you think, "Hey, I think I can do this!" everything slows down again and you struggle for 6 more months. - For the other 2%, they get struck by lightning and land a regular paying job and a contract, a REAL agent and money. - Again, if you already have insecurity issues, acting would be hell most of the time.
Chips failed because the people it's geared towards are my age. The shows I grew up with were not comedy farces. However, every childhood show that they reboot as a movie is done like it's in the dumb and Dumber world. Those if us who grew up on these old shows don't want it to be presented as a spoof comedy.
He slipped up,there's no need to cause him more pain and trouble with constantly talking about it in my opinion. It doesn't change the fact that he seems to be a a great husband and father that's doing his very best.
