Well, we got the official trailer for Sonic Rumble, and although Im still a little trepid for the things I discussed. I do feel a lot more hopeful for this titles success!
I understand the pain of not having any Sonic merch as a kid. Sonic Merch was ridiculously rare back in the 2000s.
Yeah, growing up a sonic fan in the "dark age" kinda sucked as merch wasn't very easy to find, not to mention the start of the discourse online thanks to 06
When are people never worried about an upcoming sonic project? 😔
Fair, I cant say I've ever been worried for other sonic projects. This one though just rubs me the wrong way 😕

It looks relatively fun and Sonic's mobile games as of recent have been really fun! In my opinion I feel I should wait until the game is released to cast my judgement. 🤓

@michaelelohiminnocentmadia8128 an unoriginal logo just isn't a great look for the introduction of your title. It's the first thing most will see and it's a repeat of another franchise.
@Austintatious02 bruh You're Talking about the same company that made their main character have the ability to become a super saiyan, Their Antangonist had a death star with his face on it and they have a Character whos Inspired by an entire Dragon ball Z Character (Trunks)and was credited so in the characters biography. If you think sega referencing an Iconic franchise about Toys is bad?!?! Then you might aswell never pick up another Game made from Sega Again buddy.

I would love a chao garden app but idk how much of the general public would be interested, yes Sonic is bigger than he's ever been at this point, but the chao aren't really super recognisable I'd argue, but maybe this could be Sega's way of changing that
I never thought of chao as unrecognizable. Maybe not to the fans, but you also have to consider why chao are so popular. Their cuteness. Even if someone doesn't know the extended lore of the little guys I'm sure their looks alone will have a ton of fans ready to take care of the little guys. And even if that weren't enough, I'm sure the fans alone would make the app profitable
IMO, Sonic Toys Party sounds more like a party game akin to the Mario Party series.
(And yes, Sonic has had a game along those lines before; Sonic Shuffle for the Sega Dreamcast. As someone in the minority of people who genuinely enjoyed that game, I wish Sega would bring it to modern consoles and/or give it a sequel with the same gameplay, but improved AI and new playable characters and worlds.)
Yeah I would like a Sonic party title. I feel like there's alot they could do and if they made it cross-platform it could aid in its popularity!

While I agree with the points you make, I think the game will do just as good as sonic forces mobile, maybe better because of sonic's recent surge in popularity. I think hard light is developing it so the multiplayer MIGHT not be too bad (because sonic forces mobile's multiplayer is actually very good).
Id be all for being proven wrong. I want this game to do well for sure!
It's not Hardlight. I think The team was said to be the Sapporo team. Hardlight is working on a Apple Arcade Sega Tennis game leaked too.

Im honestly hopeful for sonic toys party but i can see why anyone wouldnt be. I just really hope it doesnt flop cause i feel a fall guys type game with sonic themed elements would be so awesome

Ima bit conflicted on Sonic Toys Party. It does look fun and I do plan on checking out it out, but on the other hand, I agree with a lot of the points you made in the video, and it feels a bit too similar to fall guys. Plus, it kinda runied the future of any more progress on the fall guysxsonic collab thats been around for quite a bit, but its still unclear the stance on that whole situation.
I dont know If it'll effect the collab as I've seen rumors that they have another sonic event coming up on the game and I'd imagine that the fall guys team would have some idea of what's going on

@aceofflame5938 the minigames look original, but it still is just doing a Fall Guys but only on mobile. Which doesn't sound like the best idea
