Breakfast Club interview..wasn't that good. You could feel some tension. Bruno clearly wasn't comfortable. It wasn't fun. This...this was a great interview. We got to see more of their personalities, you guys had fun, and so did they.

THIS might be the best interview, or at least one of their best. I been checking on reaction videos, where people automatically mention Temptations, maybe because of the suits in Smokin?
I don’t recall hearing this particular interview, with Bruno mentioning some of his original inspirations, but I’ve mentioned Frankie Lymon, Jackie Wilson, J5, as people that Bruno reminded me of in terms of sheer talent, vocal power & magnetism. Check Frankie L. doing Goody Goody, Jackie Wil on Doggin Around (you better stop girl), or Jackson 5 Never Can Say Goodbye (similar groove on Smokin out the window). Obviously Silk Sonic they showed their affinity for Little Richard, in their tribute performance. The lineage of soul music is so strong, & these cats prove what is possible when you connect with the depth & substance of that heritage.
