The 4070 super is around 4x stronger than the ps5/xbox x gpu and struggle at 4k...and they advertise those consoles as 4k machines. what a big fat lie lol.
yeah what you have to remember is consoles aren't 4k native + games are tuned down on consoles (Cyberpunk for example had to tone down the density on console for it to run)
That is because there wasn't ray tracing when they were released, ps5 can do 4k and 30 frames without raytracing, which is fine for single player games for the most part.

@@jesus1021 They were built with Raytracing in mind. They do close to 4k 60fps in most games as many people want better frames nowadays.
It's like you're talking about consoles designed years ago, comparing them to the best cards that cost more than the consoles costs, without considering the rest of the PC.
Some good eBay deals on 4070 Ti, totally able to do a decent midrange build for around a grand with one.

4070 Super probably best for the buck.
If only it had more vram, it would’ve been card of the generation because it would cater to those who use it for work, play RT games, and those who care for raw performance only. That 12gb of vram really should have been increased too. The 4070ti super is basically the 4070 super with more vram, the 4070 super isn’t far off from the 4070ti performance

@@losslessthoughts even in the last of us and Resident evil 4 at 1440p on ultra settings it only uses 12gb of vram on the 4070 ti super, but on the 7900xt it uses 14gb for LOU, and 16gb on RE4.
So 4070 super vs 4070 ti super is like 10-20% performance gain for 30-40% price increase

looks like 4070 super is the sweet spot. side note... every review i've seen of atomic heart is middling, yet every bit of footage of seen of it is like "wow, that looks awesome"
I should have gotten the 4070 super instead of springing for the 4070 ti, but i never knew it was even gonna come out, that card is also much cheaper
Don't bother, just enjoy what you got. There will always be a newer and more powerfull card.

The 4070 Super is 600€ and the 4070ti Super is 850€. That's a lot of money for just 15% more in 1440p.
yeah but you get 16gb vram instead of 12gb and in the future I think that 16gb will benefit you more eventually.

4GB in 2014 was enough as 8GB was enough in 2020 and 12GB is enough in 2024.
@@buttergolem8584 it's already proven in benchmarks that 16gb benefits over 12gb FPS wise so you can say "you don't think so" but the receipts say otherwise, tlou 2 remastered and Alan Wake 2 are such as titles that show more vram is more FPS...

Is the 4070 Super worth over the 4070? It's about 150$ extra in my country. The 7800 XT is about 40$-90$ more than the 4070. I wanna do 4K 10bit video editing as well gaming & will pair it with a Ryzen 7 7700.
It's not worth it for 150$ more. If it was 50$ more, then sure.

Just grab the 4070s founders. I’ve had 4070 and 4070s both have similar temps since it’s only a 20w increase. Founders cards have better resale value in the future too.

4070 ti Super is an overclocked 4070 ti with 4gb more Vram. It’s so ridiculous to think that 4070 ti was a 12 gb card in the first place given it costs $800

@@D.Enniss honestly i have the 2080ti from release with 11gb of VRAM, but for newer games its barely enough to run at 1440p with raytracing on.
at this point it would already use around 8-9gb just running the game on high quality settings, not even ultra settings.
so yea i can see why 12gb on a gpu thats years after the 2080ti is on the low end.

@@khaler21 No.. When you enable settings like frame gen, it IMPROVES the performance substantially. DLSS+FG makes every game run like butter. I have 4070TI. I get 70 FPS on 4K (I drop shadows to medium and ray tracing from psycho to high). I get 120 - 150 FPS ultra (once again I drop the shadows to medium and ray tracing from psycho to high). Without ray tracing, these numbers are much lower. BTW, tehre are games that look way better that are fully optimized. Hitman 2 and Hitman 3 both perform incredible (hitman 2 has no FG). 144 capped FPS ultra. BTW these games stomp cyberpunk out of the water graphically. All this RTX hoopla is pointless and doesn't even look that good. Companies should've stuck to graphics in Battlefront 2 (which also stomps cyberpunk in graphics) and Hitman 2 era. That was the real pinnacle IMO.

Undervolt and you'll be fine. I got my 4070ti down to 0.9V 2650mhz and it draws up to 160W on full load(55C) in 3dmark timespy. -5% performance for the slightly lower clock speed but I think it's worth the cool temperatures.

700 -800 dollars should be the top tier 80TI series with water cooling, and 500-600 should be the 80TI and 400-450 for 80 and 300-400 for top tier 70 series and so on, they are tripping selling 70 series cards that are really 60 for this price and half of the cards with the same name are on different or chopped down DIE of the other cards, and LAPTOP GPUs are not even the same card they claim to be, the 80 series laptop GPUs are like half the performance of the desktop and usually a different card all together overclocked for similar clock speeds.
