- This video goes over the various methods to shiny hunt for a shiny Dipplin in the new Pokemon DLC The Teal Mask. In this DLC we are given access to this brand new evolution of Applin, as well as the new Syrupy Apple used to evolve an Applin to Dipplin. This is a guide to the best locations to hunt, as well as some previous tricks as well to get yourself a shiny Applin! Just got the DLC, gonna spend some time hunting in the orchard for this guy. Thanks for this vid, it actually shows what a shiny Applin looks like in the trees. Now I won't be looking twice at every other leaf lol.

I can’t get into the loop - the apple would just fall for Miraidon to kill it and that’s it. Did they fix the bug?

Btw Idk if it's my luck or anything but 6 stars raids in Kitakami drop a good chuck of Herba Mystica, especially Basculegion (got 4 salty ones without a Raid Power sandwich on)

I'm doing this post indigo disk on Scarlet and my Raging Bolt works like a charm he's height is literally perfect
I wish there was a similar methed available in Kitakami, because it'd be nice to have the Shiny Applin with the Apple Orchard location tag, because running around and looking for these small apples is pretty exhausting for the eyes...

Although less noticeable, the first instance in which a shiny changes the move animation is actually from gen 8 with Dragapult’s shiny affecting dragon darts!

If I’m not mistaken it was actually Blacephelon’s Mind Blown in USUM, which similarly to Dragapult only changed because part of the mon’s model was used in the animation. This is the first time the animation effects have been hue shifted I believe.

I don’t know if it’s luck or not (I also have the shiny charm) but I found a shiny applin in the big apple orchard in less than 5 minutes

The Applin stopped falling from the tree after a few minutes. Anyone have the same experience?
Is there a encounter power shiny increase sandwich for applin
There is one for every type
Try 1 hamburger, 1 onion, 1 tomato, 1 green pepper, 2 avocado, and any 2 herba mystica. It should give lvl 3 encounter power, title power, and sparkling power. Good luck!
it used to work for me but after the indigo disk dlc, it wont work

Yeah the Applin isn’t falling out of the tree continuously. And I’m not seeing in the vid it get initially set up.
I got it to work its just been continuous
I just ran in the tree made my pokemon auto battle and ran to
the other tree and watched it
Use a pokemon like zacian or chien pao
It takes me 50 trays for searching a shiny applin.
Give done 5 runs and still no shiny, most unlucky hunt I’ve had in a while
me too i'm on the 6th and do not find it :'D.
But i can't complaintoo much, yesterday i get Bulbasaur, Chespin and Grookey with only one sandwich hahahah
So I have shiny charm :))))
