The Luxray Texture Stealing Bug is Bizarre But Really Cool

- A strange thing can happen with Luxray sometimes, and that is that it can steal textures and take on a new appearance. In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, there's actually a few Pokemon who have been spotted with strange texture glitches or bugs to make them have certain things in appearance that they normally shouldn't have. These are super strange, interesting, and rare -- but Luxray seems to be able to "steal" textures a lot more easily than other Pokemon! As people have shown and reported, this is actually a pretty easy thing to see happen. After I tried it a few times by entering picnics with Luxray and a full party, I had these to show and this video is mostly just to showcase those! The new Luxray coats I got weren't as wild as some I've seen, but they were still incredibly cool and strange to see in game. I definitely recommend trying it for yourself, or seeing what other people have been able to pull off and see on their Luxrays with weird textures!

Gen 4 never fails to disappoint, even their Pokémon are glitching on other games 🙏
My idea of why it's happening is that Pokémon that are out of their ball get dirty, and they surely didn't code it well. No other idea, because you can clean it off
I actually want this to happen as a feature. I want to have Pokémon with different textures. That’s the closest we can get to fusions ( without legendarys or some special mons ) I would have loved that over terastalizign hats. Just give it a different texture ( maybe even randomly ) based on their Tera type. I think this would be pretty cool.

But I'm so mad that Eternatus is so small compared to what its size actually is and I don't know why I'm so bothered by it.
That is a bummer they can't make it giant. Shattering the picnic immersion.

Tbh the fact that you can wash It off makes me think it is a scrapped feature
Maybe the pokémon would get dirty and that is why the washing and cleaning feature in the picnic exists in the first place and somehow it wasn't fully removed from the code of the game.
I actually want that. This glitch is better than the whole terastalize mechanic
I once saw someone have a Sylveon with volcarona’s wing pattern on its ribbons. It was pretty cool.

@@alyoalyoalyo ye it’s pretty dope and like a bunch of my friends have had the same glitch on dusk mane only so I think it might be a certain model structure that it glitches out like lycanroc and Luxray are similar size 4 legged Pokémon

This happened to both of my Luxrays (regular and shiny.) It also happened to my Maushold
I'm surprised you spotted it on Maushold! I can't even see that tiny Pokemon half the time :')
This also happened with my Paldean Tauros F in that flower garden place

This happened to my Sylveon, but only on her ribbons. They turned black but I cleaned it off (I thought it was dirt at first even though it was black - likely from my Umbreon)
Oh wow the ribbons!? Black ribbons sound pretty cool! I can see why they were confused with dirt though! :O
