This video is not sponsored, but I did recieve this suitcase from Carl Friedrik without charge, to review.
I had the pleasure of using this check-in "Trunk" suitcase on my 30 day trip to Tarifa (April 2024), which I share my thoughts on in this video, and I am now using this as my main luggage.
I hope you enjoyed the video, please leave it a thumbs up if you liked it, subscribe if you loved it, and please leave me a comment with your thoughts and feedback.

FROM CARL FRIEDRIK:
"A heritage-inspired rolling trunk ideal for trips of up to 3 weeks. The deep main compartment makes packing large and irregular-sized items a breeze. Retractable dividers and three complimentary packing cubes allow you to stack and compartmentalise your load."
I just received my trunk in grey and cognac. Thank you for your fantastic review, it was very helpful for my upcoming ten days in Bermuda. Cheers!
Ah amazing, glad the review was helpful and a bit jealous, I really wanted the Grey/Cognac but wasn't available at the time - i'll be orderring one later in the year 😎
Thanks for your review. Are the dividers removable? What are your thoughts on the sturdiness of the telescopic handle and wheels? (i.e. Does the handle wobble? What materials are they made from?) I heard from another reviewer that the rubber silent wheels create more friction when rolling on low pile carpeted areas compared to some other luggage brands.
Thanks for your comment - so the handle is the most sturdy i've seen on any luggage, Carl Friedrik really took on feedback from the carry-On X and improved this, I can't praise this enough and should have mentioned that in the video. It's a very solid, it doesn't wobble and I guess it's steel - feels very premium. And the wheels, well, I think I mention them in every luggage video haha, like the Carry-On X the wheels are exceptional, but yes, it's true they add friction on carpetted areas, I started to notice this when wheeling them inside of hotels recently.
review the rimowa original trunk xl pls
I'd love to, but as i'm not a monetized channel I'd need Rimowa to reach out to me at this stage. If they do, i'd love to review it. I am reviewing an affordable aluminum carry on from another brand in June, stay tuned for that.
