Glad we have tickets to their farewell tour - Over and Out.
me too 😊
ELO had some of the happiest music of the era, still great today. His collaboration with the Traveling Wilburies was stellar! Jeff Lynne is a legend and a treasure!!
I grew up listening to ELO in the 70s......fast forward to the 90s, and my son got into them......we were actually at this concert...it was amazing... my then 25yr old son, knowing ALL the songs, singing along with me, his ol' mum. The memory still makes me smile 🙂
Yes, they are great live - it says so much about a band. Noticing all these older people, like myself, who were teens or young teens when they were in their heyday. Lucky those who can see them in person!
If you notice, most of them know the lyrics.
The first band I ever saw in London. They had just had their first big hit with roll over Beethoven, they were supported by thin lizzy who had just had their first hit with whisky in the jar, what a night.luv ya.
I have the biggest grin just watching the joy on the audiences' faces! Wish I could have been there!
Wembley Stadium is the national stadium of England and the home of English football. Put simply, it really doesn't get any better than Wembley. With 90,000 seats, it's the largest sports venue in the UK and the second-largest stadium in Europe.
It’s dramatic looking too. In fact, the striking 133-metre tall arch is the world’s longest single span roof support structure and is visible right across London. Plus, there’s a sliding roof to protect fans from the elements.
hear hear... and cheers!
I grew up listening to this awesome group along with a whole bunch of other talent from the era. ELO is just an amazing group and the 70's were anawesome time to grow up in and be a teenager. Another great reaction from a great group. ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!
It's lovely seeing your beautiful smile whilst watching this :) I can't believe you have never been to a concert you have to go. I from the UK and have been to going to festivals and concerts for decades its awesome.
Jeff Lynn and ELO Are an Experience!! Welcome!!
One of many reasons they are in the rock n roll hall of fame. All over the world and Dont Walk Away are great songs by them as well, of course all their songs are great. Hard to chose just one, or two or 6. 🤘😁
The audience are your grandparents. This is what they were crazy for back then. I'm 69 yo and these songs were amazing. I breathed this and ate this for breakfast evey day.
I just love to watch you loving ELO as much as I do. YOU ROCK GIRL ! !
This is one of your BEST reactions! LOVED watching you on this one, and I'm right there with you: ELO sounds great LIVE -- Their harmonies are to DIE for!
The first album I ever bought, Out of the Blue, and this is the first song on it. Great song and solid double album.
We saw him live in 2018 and the whole concert was a two hour party. Everyone in the crowd knew every song and sang along.
I saw them several times in the 80s & 90s. Fabulous live concerts! I lived in such the best era for real music 🥰🥰🥰
That WHOLE concert is amazing... every little tiny bit.
They could have filled that concert ten times over.
The whole album is pure platinum. I saw the same concert at Sheffield Arena UK it was amazing!
Their live performances were indescribably incredible.
Jeff Lynn is all the Beatles wrapped up in one person . Pure Genius!!!
Absolutely ❤
saw them in Portland a couple years back. it was a lifelong dream come true.
I believe that the song originated in 1978. Wembly
Stadium in London is the largest in the country
I think Jeff Lynne was 70 during this performance. I got to see Jeff Lynne's ELO live in Houston, TX in 2018. It was a FANTASTIC show! Also, at 4:52 is director J.J. Abrams.
Jeff was 70 YEARS OLD during this performance. Just incredible.
I've been in luvvvvvv with ELO for eons! If they come to the states, I would go see them for sure! Yes, I will admit; I am an ELO groupie! 😍🤩🥰Jay, react to ELO's "The Whale" - you can actually hear the whales singing in the song.
This is an amazing performance! Live shows are the true test of talent. Jeff and the band do not disappoint. Thanks for this great video. “All Over the World” is a fantastic ELO song and has a great dance video that goes with it. Please check it out. 🌺✌️
I'm so happy you liked at ELO. Jeff Lynn is a legend. Incredible song writer and singer. Please listen to more.
Need Her Love
Strange Magic
Midnight Blue. Oh my goodness he has too many amazing songs.
Sweet! When I was in eighth grade back around 1980, I took my ELO "Out of the Blue" album to a party one of the girls at school held and someone at the party put Meat Loaf's "Bat Out of Hell" album away in my ELO album and the second record of my ELO album in someone else's Meat Loaf album. The center label on the records were the same color -- orange, iirc -- so the mistake was understandable. I went back that girl's house the next day -- she didn't live very far away -- to see if the other person had caught the mistake yet but they hadn't. Instead that girl's dad gave me his rarely played copy of Springsteen's "Born to Run" album and a very very well played copy of The Rolling Stones "Let It Bleed" album that he probably bought in 1969. Lot of pops and hisses but no scratches. Nice consolations either way.
The smile you’re reaction put on my face warmed my heart. I love you. Thank you so much ❤.
You've never been to a concert?.....someone take this girl to a concert quick.
I can only imagine the complete sensory overload if I was at that amazing concert at the iconic Wembley Stadium 😮
ELO ANYTIME!!
I too was one of the lucky ones at this concert - check out 'Turn To Stone' at Hyde Park 2014, Jeff loved the fact that the crowd cheered after the 'middle fast bit'! In fact, anything from the Hyde Park gig is great - I know... I was there too near the stage!
Great reaction! Priceless expression to that bridge! I finally saw ELO live a few years ago and they were unbelievable still!
That was amazing! Pretty darn huge crowd, eh? ELO's got a ton o' material! This one makes 6 reacted to, and there's others like "Xanadu"(with Olivia Newton-John) "Evil Woman" "Roll Over Beethoven"(a cover of Chuck Berry's original) "Can't Get It Out Of My Head" "Livin' Thing" "Do Ya?" "All Over the World" "Mama" "I'm Alive" "Showdown" "Hold On Tight"(to your dream) "Sweet Talkin' Woman" "From the Sun To the World" (way more)
I was at this concert!! One of the best live shows I’ve ever witnessed!!
Love the vocal bridge on this song
3:10 love your reaction!!!
Saw the tour in 2019- pitch perfect.
Jeff Lynne is 74 years old now.
Great great great reaction. You were so excited. I wish we could take you back in time to go to all of these wonderful concerts live. If you were this excited when you were watching it on youtube, then you would go crazy in the live show!
Jeff was unsure about doing Wembley Stadium as the thought not enough people would come,60,000 turned up !😲
I loved your reaction so much I subscribed, great music from my man Jeff as always.
Happy music, he makes me feel good.
Elvis and Jeff Lynne. Your two crushes. ❤️💙
ELO! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I always liked his background singers loved there voices
Kelly Groucutt is the singer with the high pitch voice in the background.
You should do a reaction to Jeff Lynne’s acoustical version, just him with acoustic guitar and his piano player, no other instruments or people, at his house. 😊
ELO fan since the 70s, massive rabbit hole.
Hi Javy!!
I'm a great ELO fan since my parents heard them in the car in the late 70's and I was a very little kid. After that, I follow them forever.
Jeff Lynne is so talented that the ELO performances should sound perfect live. I dream of the day they could come to my Country.
Best regards from Chile!!
I was at that concert....amazing. other classic songs of theirs that I do not think you have reacted to being Living Thing, Sweet Talking Woman, All Over the World, Can't Get it Out of My Head, Roll Over Beethoven, Confusion, Xanadu and The Diary of Horace Wimp.
They are the best l of the best like Beatles and Any other music band.
See saw them live inTacoma in 2019, it was unbelievable! If it’s possible to sound better than your recordings they did!
7.25.22. If you want to hear a better Turn to Stone, check out Joe Walsh‘s™️, Turn to Stone©️….. From his So What album🎸
Not bad for 70!!
The maestro at work. Jeff is up there with Tuomas Holopainen of Nightwish as two of the greatest songwriting composers 🙏👍😊
Nice as well as beautiful, greetings from Italy 🇮🇹
They are a great band. I am glad you enjoyed it AND don't be afraid to rewind and hear some of the great stuff again...
Jayy, thanks for doing more Electric Light Orchestra! Next please react to, *"Livin' Thing"* live at Wembley 2017 (same concert, but during the daylight hours). It's incredible!
If you ever want to react to Country, live performance are a must! And don’t tend to get blocked.
Highly recommend (knowing your 💜)
Travis Tritt - Anymore (Live and Kickin’)
Brooks and Dunn - Neon Moon (by Invitation Only)
So damn underrated !!!! Brilliant
This concert at Wembley is fantastic! Such a production! One of the best I've seen in my life! 🤩
Love them they never did a bad song
If you haven’t seen Telephone Line from the same concert it’s worth watching/reacting to!
My first ELO album was Eldorado. Still love it! I also still listen to Out of the Blue, the album with this song on it. Anything ELO I'll listen to! ❤️
I've sponsored almost every song from Eldorado over at HarriBest Reactions, along with about 50 other ELO tracks! Check his channel out!
@@Cosmo-Kramer I am subscribed to his channel. He reacts to some really good music. 😊
Great one! 💖❤️👍
I believe this was in 2018 or so. I agree when others say he's a genius. Producing, arranging great vocals. He never disappoints!
Yea!! Live is a must. THAT is where you witness the true talent!
You should take a look at Glastonebury 2016 Live!!!
Love your reaction! Another great one by ELO is, "All Over The World", and the list goes on!
I absolutely love reactions to live performances. Electric Light Orchestra is an amazing band. Jeff Lynne is fantastic on stage. Their music is so upbeat. I love them and you won’t find a bad song with their name on it. 🌺✌️
"Do ya" have a favorite ELO song? ;)
@@Cosmo-Kramer Yes indeed!🌺✌️
This song always reminds me of the following. When I was attending Cal State Long Beach ( I graduated in 1979) my roommate had a math instructor with the last name of Stone. There were often days, when he would bust through the door and tell me to "quick, put on the ELO LP that had "Turn to Stone" on it. The instructor has turned me into stone by his lesson. Ah, those were good times!
Do "Telephone Live" by ELO at Wemberly stadium,if you have ever been ghosted before by a girlfriend or boyfriend you'll understand!
I would have loved to have been at that concert, just fantastic...Jeff Lynne is a Music God..
Awesome!!!
You gotta do Telephone Line by ELO!
I graduated high school in 1976. One of my graduation gifts was tickets to an ELO concert in Shreveport LA. The music and laser show was insane! A group of kids behind me was smoking weed..first time I’d ever seen that! I was tripping!! LOL! Can you please react to a song by Normani/Cardi B called Wild Side? Thanks!
I can't believe you've never gone to a concert. I live in Boston but if I lived in New York I'd bring you to some concerts. That's just not right you love music and you could see how different it is when you're there. Concerts have been slow the last few years because of covid but it's starting to pick up.
I hope you get go to some concerts to see what it is all about
About 80000-90000 people in there loving life
Check out Xanadu from the same show (recorded by Olivia Newton John).
"Telephone Line" sorry I put Telephone live Lol
Saw them in Tampa in 2019 and you are right - they sound better live than they do on their recordings and that is saying a lot because they sound incredible on their studio cuts. Jeff Lynne is in his early 70's and sounds no different than he did 40 years ago.
If you want to feel good, this is all you need.
Another comment since you said you were going to look for more live concerts by ELO. They have some good ones...but don't forget some of the other bands who do excellent live shows too, among them Rush, Queen, the Stones. Here is on of my favorites from Joe Cocker performing at Woodstock ... "With a Little Help From My Friends" czcams.com/video/rUVEFkjqiEE/video.html
Always loved ELO, I'd love to see them live, its on my bucket list.
Please react to anything from the Wembley Show, just amazing
Great live performance indeed. Don't forget: Check out "Night in the City" and "Big Wheels"--the studio versions--of ELO's OUT OF THE BLUE album! Trust me!
I sponsored both those songs over at HarriBest Reactions, along with about 50 other ELO songs he's reacted to.
@@Cosmo-Kramer Yes, I know. you probably got a duplicated suggestion. You already replied to a similar message. Thanks! I did see both reactions. I hope to see Jayy react to them.
@@kevinmkraft Cool, sorry, I'll try to remember that you're already aware of Harri's channel.
@@Cosmo-Kramer No problem, sir. Thanks for reaching out, er...back.
Check out traveling wilburrys
Listen to the Norwegian group Royksopp "Stay awhile".
you cannot go wrong with ANY live ELO song, imho, so i will recommend also a song i heard at my first concert when i was 15... the band was Yes, the year was 1978, and we all felt the world would soon throw off the shackles of the "Ism's"... ie- racism, sexism, religionism. a lot of music from then was overwhelmingly positive and this is as good as the ELO song "Turn to Stone", imho...
Yes "Roundabout [live at Rainbow Theatre, London 1972DEC15/16" ( saw them later of course, this was the 'Close to the Edge' Tour...) czcams.com/video/kmZoQFYYx8U/video.html
that break wasa very gd, nice 2 c jeff playing after all ves yrs. tyr 'telephone line'- maybe uve dne it?
Suggest ELO Telephone Line live @ Wembley Stadium 🏟️
Now try " Getting to the point " studio version
I was there
Why have you never been to a concert?????
If you enjoyed this live performance try Telephone Line from same concert..Even better than the studio version
This is the difference between a produced version and let’s say Midnight Special. Even though it’s live, the video mix shows it’s been fine tuned, and that’s a good thing. Why listen to crappy vocals? 😁❤️
nice
React to my favorite song of them "Showdown"
haha you should do blooper videos
