Back then, I loved this game. I left the game little after the release of the bacon hair. Today, something is strange about the game. An area originally filled with nearly 100 players being a near wasteland of its former glory. I sometimes feel like I’m being watched by something or someone when walking around. I believe I could make a short horror film on that feeling but I’m just in the thinking stages.
It does feel like that now. It feels weird
It was a pretty interesting ride, one that I'll definitely look back on and reminisce over. Sure, I have enjoyed making content and helping the community as much as I could, but it's a powerful reminder that sometimes we have to move on. I never could fathom how much this game, and what Matt and Ben have offered, would mean to the friends we made along the way.

It is such a shame that this game was left to rot. It had a huge potential, but yet, it was abandoned.
I remember playing the game back in the day and I played it daily. I loved it and made some good friends there. I got everything, unlocked every skin (except for mythical ones), bought every car and item, etc. I have done everything the game had to offer.
I remember how I suffered in the hide and seek minigame to get the golden bacon and how much time I spent to get Big Chungus. I still remember the moment when I got my first purple crystal, how someone and I fought for it, and by the time I mined it, that person wasn't happy. Eventually, I got the required amount of crystals and needles to say, I was happy. I also remember the moment when there were 3-4 purple crystals in the server at once. I already had Big Chungus during that time, so it had no use for me.
I was and am one of the high levels. It is not something out of this world, level 79, but still. There was a point of time when there were only a few who achieved level 60 and I was one of them.
Now, it is all just gone. The game was left to rot and people moved on. The game that was once a huge success is now nothing, but a ghost town. Many areas that are under construction will remain like this forever. Marigold Island's crystals will stay unmined, Catacombs' chests will remain closed, Orphanage and Guest 666 will hardly get any players.
There is a depressing feeling knowing that this place was once busy with players, but now there are 10+ of them at best. I remember how I tried to get into an empty server in Marigold Island, so I could get all the crystals for myself, but now I don't have to try that.
If only this game had been updated, it could have been alive if that was the case. Unfortunately, the only thing it received was a slow and silent death. It would have been so much better if there was just an announcement about developers not planning to update the game. At least it would have been something. There would be no false hope for anyone and the game had its conclusion. Alas, we didn't even get that.
I miss Guest World, but like many others, we carried on with our lives. The only thing I can do is thank this game for the great time I had. Guest World deserved better than what it got.

Wasn't abandoned, talked to the creator a couple of months ago and he said an update will be eventually worked on + there's an overhaul of the main map in a separate game under Guest World's lead builder's account (iirc, idk if it was in the creator's acc or the builder's acc)
There's a pretty big chance that an update will release eventually. Probably not very soon, but eventually

I remember bragging that I had a bighead bacon on there when I was young. I used to use it ALL the time, since it was legendary and nobody in my servers basically had it. Good times.

I remember having met ForeverHD and getting ghost guest and beta guest.
I remember playing this game every single day when I young but now as today it no longer fun without many people playing this game anymore and this game is more than just a role play it more of like an adventure type exploring the map and collecting skin especially mini games as well but too bad it isn’t the same without many people playing it anymore including me since we’re no longer kids anymore and moving to other games that are interested and due to developers are taking a long break, moving to another project, and focusing other life stuff as well as recently Roblox has changed a lot as well. 😔
P.S I still remember when players really cared to another player back then but as now today some players are showing toxicity to other players now 😔
This is all so true, the game was perfect in the way that it brought an exploration Effect into it while also being a social experience with roleplaying etc.

Awww man this game looked like so much fun. I was around and watched when all of the last guest videos came out, seeing this I would’ve loved to play it but I never heard if it and now it seems like I’ll never get to experience the sensation of what it was

Back around mid 2020, this was a game to hangout on during freetime or just to do something at that time in roblox, i made friends during the time, i stopped playing at around late 2021 due to some issues, i wanted to see potential future updates as like other projects like blox watch and the bacon hair just like roleplay world. I enjoyed watching the video :)

thank you so much for finally making a quality video about this nostalgic game, i and many other people have a lot of good memories from this game, Guest World was abandoned in such a terrible and unnecessary way.
In my opinion they should've continued with Guest World instead of leaving it for Roleplay World.

The movie The Last Guest was masterpiece and game was awesome too. Now it's very sad to see that my favourite game in Roblox is in this condition now. I had a lot of good experience in this game and I met some very good people. Don't be sad it was over, be glad it happed!

I used to play this all day man, I will never forget this game. I also watched the last guest movies back then. Such nostalgic times I remember having almost all the skins. Im no longer a kid though and it doesnt seem fun anymore, still nostalgic remember playing this on a saturday morning in my pc right after showering it was so refreshing.

Great video, but I find it kinda weird how in the beginning you use a quote from Kurt Cobain's suicide note, which itself was quoted from a Neil Young song. Love the video btw but the quote at the beginning has a really, really dark backstory ❤
Yea I know about that. I tried to find a quote that would fit the video about fading. And that one popped into my head. But yea it does have a very bad back story.

hey, this is a really good quality video, especially for guest world video standards! i'm one of the people on the guest world leaderboard (unfortunately, like many things in this game, the leaderboard screen is not working) and while it is sad to see the game slowly die out, it also paved the way for numerous glitches that players could use to (funnily enough) make the game feel fresher. although now, the game has died out, the glitches people could do were probably more memorable (at least for me) than the actual game itself

ah guest world, one of my first games on roblox. after they stopped updating the game i asked the devs on twitter and they simply said once hd admin is finished......... well 4 years later and no update
The only quality here is the storytell, and if i would have to fuse with him, This would be a perfect channel, since i am good at editing!
@@RbxlH I know im not the best at editing videos, in fact im just starting out. I think it’s a bit early to have a personal editor for now. Maybe in the future I will but not rn.

It's such a shame they just simply never kept up with the game and has never been updated since April of 2019. The only fun I ever got out of it after that last update was with me and my friends messing around and making fun of the game, not actually playing it. It sucks that a game that actually had some decent potential was just abandoned and was never updated with new content. Good video.
I know, I feel that if they kept updating it the game would’ve gotten huge. Such a shame
I actually just hopped on the game right now to see how it is, and yeah, a couple of people were in the base map, all of them being low levels. Also I actually went to the guest 666 area and it turns out that it has a major bug where the map actually despawns and you can't walk across the map. There is also a bunch of other bugs, visual and audio, for example, when someone spins for a character, I can literally hear them getting a character out of the wheel even though I'm nowhere near them. Not even games from 2008 like undead nation are that buggy. The chat is also just dead and there is nobody actually talking, and the only time I see messages from other players are "summon summon summon" or just some random gibberish.

I remember playing this game due to the Last Guest as a child, but due to no upd I don’t play it anymore sadly.

this had to be the best roblox game i ever played in 2018. its a shame that nobody plays this anymore really. i hope this game gets an update soon.
This video made me remember a memory that I totally forgot which was my time playing Guest World. I wasn't obsessed with it, but I liked it and enjoyed playing it, now I realize it was even more fun than I thought it was. It breaks my heart to see guest world with only 9 players at the time of typing this.

I would play this game a lot when I was younger. I had some of the rarest items like all the diamonds.. but now I don’t play. The game was really fun if you played at its peak

I grew up on playing guest world since 2018. As from now on, I am 16 years old (don't remember how old I was when playing this game younger) the game will always remain to be alive in my heart. Roblox platform is experiencing huge downfall, guests are being forgotten, a terrible experience seeing such legendary game to die. R.I.P Guest World (2018-2023) 😢

I remember playing this 24/7 in 2019, it’s a shame this game was abandoned and it’s sad I’ll never get this feeling back.
This game is basically like Vehicle Simulator. I remember people used to play Guest World a lot too but for me it got boring pretty fast so I just played Vehicle Simulator. But as I said again, it's like Vehicle Simulator because it had good amounts of players and I met really nice people on that game but died a really slow death...
used to be my favorite game man, i would flex my mythical god bacon that i got at level 1 and would just roleplay n stuff man i miss this game. Quality upload tho enjoyed it.

I mean i also think most people who got over the game either just moved on from the last geust stuff since it is already almost 7 years pld at this point. And the reason between ObliviousHD delays on uploads is because he claimed to had injured himself and that he couldnt make videos. But personally if he will make animations again i want to see Bloxwatch again because it was so far the most interesting story he made.
You can just see how much dedication he puts into these vids! This man deserves a sub! Also I was the 100th comment!

Sad to see it’s abandoned now, hardly anyone plays it but even tho it’s a wasteland, the game did give off one of the best memories in roblox for me and I made some pretty great friends there, was an awesome ride, I use to play it everyday whenever I got on roblox, on the mornings and it use to be awesome. hopefully one day the game can be updated and atleast some of the ogs can return for it, the memories from this game are not forgettable

i remember playing this game so much even to the point i was addicted i don't know why but it was fun i wish it was updated so much i have farmed so much crystals i had fun.
I have played Guest World, but I stopped playing it since 2022 because the current player is getting less. I wish they can update it or at least announce the game won't be more updates like you said in the video..
I miss playing this game, and the fact that it gas become a shell of its former self saddens me. This was what I did during my middle school years and now it's basically "gone"

Dude played this since it came out unlocked everything in the game waited for a update I don’t know but this game gives me a feeling that no other game can it’s just so fun I miss the music I miss everything about this game the players everything I just hope one day it comes back

I remember when the video guest 666 part 2 have been uploaded weeks ago in 2017. It was such a masterpiece when I was 10 year old and I always like to watch this with my brother. I was always feeling like I was the main character in real life and it changed my life from 2017 to 2019. All the friends I have meet back in this year have all died and I was the only one who got an account from 2018 that is still active right now. When Oblivious died I was so disappointed and completely forget him. In 2019 I remember when the video bloc watch was uploaded it wasn’t uploaded the right day it was saying in the trailer. It was uploaded 2 days later after the date it was mentioned. I was so excited to see the part 2 but I was so disappointed that it have now been almost one year and he didn’t upload a new video or a part 2. In 2021 when he uploaded the bacon hair video I restarted to play Guest World again and the game came back to life. I was so excited about that but one year later he didn’t make a next part so I completely forget this CZcamsr and I confirmed that he was dead and the worst CZcamsr. Back in 2017 and 2018 I was so active on Roblox for Oblivious new video and before September in 2018 I was really excited when I saw the last guest 3 trailer. All my memories came back to life and I remember everything now when I watched it again and saw his channel again.

Been playing that game ever since I feel like a veteran just by remembering the good times I had playing it I was in tears and let down seeing it gigantic fall it’s been a run but what comes up must comes down and that down was guest world…
I remember watching the last guest with my friends in elementary, we would sit at the lunch table watching it and we would get sad, then i would join my friends in guest world and we would have tons of fun, good times man

I quit Roblox but came back for this game by creating a new account late 2021 and I remember just playing this game only and grinding my level but there was still a decent amount of players but I just watched it all fade away sadly and then eventually I drifted away from it too
I played guest world since beta release, so I got the beta guests ( no ghost Zara and ghost guests since it was late beta), I was also the 36th person to get demon Guest. Good times

I had heard about the movie from my brother and heard there was a game off of it.. but it was sadly too late and it became another star scape in roblox.(i use “a star scape” as a term for a great game that has either died or is going to die and it’s community no longer exists as well as it no longer getting any more updates)

i unlocked all the orbs, and i remember coming home from school everyday just to play it. i met a bunch of people, including one chinese kid.
ive even been to the mine and it felt fun, meeting people on the way.
i played the minigames, and they were fun, when it started dying, i quit it. thats when it died out.
i remember jumping on top of the boss statue, and waiting for the countdown for the boss fight to start!
i remembered spamming summon with everyone else, to summon the boss.

Ah, I remember Guest World fondly. I remember getting mad over losing Hide and Seek matches. I remember searching the entire map endlessly for skins. I also remember waiting for the hospital expansion update. Seems as though the hospital will never get an expansion 4 years later www
Guest World was everything to me. It's no different from the game that made me grow up when I was young. There was emotion, sadness, happiness, and blessing in the story, and there was fun and communication in the game. But now everything is ruined. There couldn't be more than 10 people playing, and people were completely forgetting about it. The moment I realized this, my world collapsed along with it. But still I'm thinking about guest world :)
( I couldn't even enter the basement of the hospital that I was curious about and the place that requires level 40 to enter.)
I will never forget the stories that touched me and made me grow at the same time.

I played this game when it was in ALPHA. I even got to test out a few of the things in the game in the test worlds. I had a lot of fun with this game back then. I was disappointed to see it fall.

I miss teleporting to the cove and messing around, why did they give up updates? They have everything and this choice is so bad since it’s already dead. If it’s updated again it will never be the same and will still have little to none players. There’s no turning back from their game being dead, it will most likely be dead forever

I actually COMPLETELY forgot about that game, probably mostly due to ObliviousHD not really being active on his YT, which led me to forgot about his channel, and consecutively make me forget about the whole GUEST thing

It was just to make the title more appealing. But I think with the community itself and the features in the game that guest world was one of Roblox’s best games
