- Now that we're more familiar with the history of the clan Toreador, it's time we look at some of their clan culture and behavior. We find out the difference between artiste and poseur as well as what Guilds are.
Then we cover three of the more influential Toreador of our age, their background, why they're famous, and what they're up to now (if we know).
This video concludes our focus on clan Toreador, although our next video will be covering Elysium and Titles of the Camarilla, so we're bound to find out more about them.
Thank you to the amazing ThornedEmbers for creating my avatar!

What harry potter house are you aligned with?
Me: Toreador
"Ah I see... A vampire of culture"
I'm currently playing a Toreador, Duke, a famous rockstar from the 70's who was embraced by a passing ancillae who heard his guitar playing and was entranced, though he is in the Camarilla and a loyal member he is far more comfortable in rock bars and clubs, wearing leather jackets and band shirts rather than a coat and tails in a masquerade ball. Still, he is undeniably a Rose and not some filthy Brujah brute and will not hesitate to remind anyone who underestimates him!
Sounds like a most excellent dude! Toreador can come in all shapes and forms, as long as they've got a passion for their art!
They were one of my favorite clans :) That Charisma bonus has always been handy in Bloodlines!
Oh I agree! I love games that let you charm your way through a lot of the puzzles. :)
If your avatar is going to wear that shirt, I hope we get a Tzimisce video soon lol
In time, my childe, in time... ;)
I am a Toreador if there ever was one.
Very good video !
I'm glad you enjoyed it, and with a name like that you'll fit right in with the Roses! :D
The Toreador are definitely the clan I'd be most likely to create my first actual character in... Well, unless I'd end up making a Thinblood. But I've always loved the art lover kindred...
Remember. Thin bloods are actually worse than advertised in bloodlines 2. Thin blood are vampire generic knock off diet lite vampire.
@@Demolitiondude Oh I'm fully aware that Thinbloods are the bottom of the bottom in vampire hierarchy. That's exactly why I think playing one could be interesting!
@@SilimSavertin cool. Personally I found it hilarious that the disciplines they gave thin bloods are cliche. But way too awesome for basically generic knock off diet lite vampire.
It's definitely interesting to play as someone at the bottom of the pecking order and I like how they've expanded on it in V5; It's interesting to see something akin to a vampire "evolution" going on in the game.
Gonna play my first campaign soon and I’m using your videos have been a blessing to help me understand the setting
New to the channel. This list does not seem to cover the Gargoyles/Grotesques. I’m trying to build my own campaign and ive been doing a lot of research, id like to see you cover the gargoyles/grotesques. Reading through slogs of text is difficult for me as i have energy issues from several health complications. I know theres not much (that I could find) but maybe you could bring some more light onto the subject?
I've unfortunately not covered any of the Bloodlines in my videos, although I do talk a little bit about the Gargoyles in my Tremere video. I know that Lore by Night has done an entire video dedicated to them and I can strongly recommend you check out his stuff, he does great content too!
The Primogen thanks. I did watch a video that mentioned the Tremiere in making them so i did watch your videos on them. But the info was about as much as ive found. But I’ll go check that out thanks again
What they call themselves matters not, a leech is still a leech, a creature of the wyrm, and an enemy of Gaia! They will be all be rended by garou claw and fang!
I used to roleplay a female Toreador antitribu who was deeply sadistic and absolutely loved torturing other beings (both supernatural and human). Her idea of beauty was an artistically scarred and deformed victim who she managed to still keep alive and suffering.
Great video.
Thanks!
Nice video Bro
Thanks! :D
I wish bloodlines at least let us change our hair for this clan😂
Is that some art work from the first edition, I spy?
Sometimes they catch my eyes!
@@ThePrimogen 😃😃😃
*finally.* some animation. was about to stop. _JC
*Tremeres at the shirt*
Tzimisce for life ;)
@@ThePrimogen We can't be friends........unless we find a Assamite, Gargoyle, and Salubri,.................and another tremere, give us all the hate!
@@nonamegiven202 I've got plenty of hate in my reservers for the Usurper-clan. ;)
My mom read that clan novel. Well I got it for my cousin who's a fan of that series that shall not be named. Don't think my mom liked it.
Also. Rokea lore video either today or tomorrow. Been behind and missed shark week.
I thought it was an okay read, not the best of them but it was solid for a tie-in novel; might have been a bit graphic.
@@ThePrimogen I read the setite novel myself. It was interesting.
🤘💜
vampires innit
Hey, just wanted to say I really love your videos and that they have really drawn me into the world of darkness stuff. I am currently trying to rope some of my nerdier friends into doing a game with me sometime and all these little facts and such are really helpful. That said I did want to say one thing here in regards to the Toreador, something that has popped up in a number of your videos. I get that in universe they are often called degenerates by their detractors but its also a real world term with a lot of negative connotations, especially in regards to LGBT people and Jews. Roughly 90 percent of the time if I hear someone use the word uncritically its going to make me think they are at best an internet edgelord or at worst a deeply hateful person so hearing you use it so flippantly was honestly made me a little uncomfortable.
so that is why goths love this nonsense huh? it's just...them. _JC
