I just became a subscriber today! I'm an American living in Nevada. In about 6 months, I will have my dual citizenship, by descent. I'm looking forward to returning to Italy as a proud Italian citizen and promised myself I will be fluent in the language when I arrive. (12-18 months from now)

Yes.. very easy for you being first generation removed. I had to go back a bit further to my grandparents. All born in Italia.

Non solo perché ho capito alcune frasi, ma anche perché mi interessa molto la lingua italiana e in passato ho studiato l'italiano per 2 mesi, quindi vorrei ricominciare e imparare a un livello base. Se vado in Italia, vorrei essere in grado di parlare nella loro lingua madre.

LOL I see I have watched this one already! And right away the Moka got my attention. I always fill the basket before putting it in the pot. That way I can level it easily. I tried it in today and it seemed a lot more difficult to do it the way you do at the start of this video.
This is by far my favorite YT channel! So this might be a weird request (and feel free to disregard if you don’t agree!) but I’m wondering if the translations could be slightly more literal?
For example, I would love to know that “sono stato con” means “I was” rather than how it’s translated here as “I spent time with”. I mean no disrespect, I’m just thinking maybe this could be slightly confusing for other beginners like myself.
