Ok as someone living in Parma let me tell what these places are!!!
0:30 Parma’s Train Station!! The monument is to commemorate our fallen soldiers during the war!!
1:59 this obelisk is in front of our Art Academy and the Pilotta complex where our national museum is!
2:11 The Parma river!! It’s beautiful in spring summer because you can take the stairs and go take a walk besides it, but when it overflows....it’s bad
2:36 entrance to Parco Ducale! It’s currently going trough renovations but it’s one of my favorite places!
3:28 that’s the RIS! Basically our national forensic centre, it’s well known and many murder proofs are brought there to be analyzed.
9:30 this is the Pilotta!! Home of our museum and old theatre, sometimes you can hear musicians of Teatro Reggio rehearse and it’s beautiful.
12:58 Via repubblica, one of parma’s longest streets. It passes through the town centre and old “Parma”. Lots of shops and parallel streets with some pretty interesting stuff
14:03 La Cittadella!! Another park, it served as entrance to Parma in the past and also as a defense point, thus the small towers!! Everyone goes jogging there
18:03 Palazzo del Governatore, in front of the new Town Hall!! Is a museum with periodical exhibitions and conferences.
The statue at the front is for Giuseppe Garibaldi!!
There’s a functional meridian painted on the front of it!
19:05 Via Cavour, basically one of the liveliest and most active streets, shopping shopping and shopping!
    19:48 Duomo and Battistero!!
21:10 Via Mazzini, this street becomes Via repubblica once its passes the center!!
Well known for its “pillars”, Parma was full of them like Bologna in the past but after the war they demolished most of them!

The monument at Parma Station is of Bottego an explorer from Parma who was killed in Africa. Has nothing to do with any war.

C est assez incroyable de presenter une ville aussi sublime que Parme sous un aspect aussi trivial. On dirait que c est intentionné...mais pourquoi, Brutus?...
