- Social media influencer Andrew Tate has clashed with Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan over the definition of misogyny.
Piers Morgan pointed out some of Andrew Tate’s words are the “purest definition of misogyny” he has ever read.
“I think a man should provide for a woman financially completely and utterly,” Mr Tate told Mr Morgan.
“If she wants to work, if my partner were to say to me right now, ‘I really feel like getting a job, it would make me happy’ - then I’ll say work.
“But she doesn’t have to - her job is looking after the children, looking after me and being as happy as possible.”
i am a woman and people pretending that him saying his woman doesn't have to work so she can be with her kids and take care of herself is somehow a bad thing is genuinely insane ! A lot of women would rather be with their kids and enjoy life rather than having a 9 to 5 job ! Pretending that him providing for his family is a bad thing and misogynistic is crazy ! If a man just disagrees with a woman nowadays he is called a mysogynist but women are allowed to insult men everyday on TV !
I think you need to look a bit more deeply into his schtick, learn about his PhD thing, his deep misogyny, the way he encourages his disciples to manipulate women with the intention to profit through their sexual exploitation. By all means stay home and raise kids but maybe don't criticise women that choose to develop their career while bringing up a young family.

I know how hard it is to work 8 hours and come home and still have to cook and clean and on top of that you add children? I see the benefit of a man not having to worry about buying food or cooking food cause it was prepped for him to take to work. These are even roles instituted by God through the Bible. And I can understand how good it must feel to be on the opposite end where you would want absolute control over someone but Jesus doesn’t treat us like that! Instead he gives us flexibility!
So if you choose to date someone who wants to stay at home and live like that, that’s your choice but the Bible is more flexible than that… and is not against women working and does not force anyone to live like that, although it is clear about our roles.
And it isn’t so much his viewpoint that comes across as mysoginistic. It is, like he said in the video, his sarcasm or in other words condescending attitude. He comes across as disrespectful and unloving and not warm towards women. And that is just undesirable to women. I don’t know what confidence high value woman would want to be treated like that. Only insecure women or women who just want you for your money. And another thing is, he is filthy rich, doesn’t want his woman to work, he has now made himself an easier target to be used for money because he consolidated his pool of women to that type. He is attracting what he is afraid of (being used)

the west forgot the real role of a man in a family. the way society pictures a successful woman is the woman that has a career meanwhile a stay at home mom is a loser. todays society and life expenses drove women to work and forgot about her real responsibility which is being a mom and being there to raise your kids and not let the school and tv raise your kids. having to care for the kids and the house is already more than a full job. so why not set back and relax while the man provide for everything. most importantly get ur school degree first because no one knows what life is hiding.

I personally agree with most of the opinions that Tate is stating, but I have to say that with this statement that he tweeted, he actually encourages young women to live the life of a housewife. Some women have dreams and their aim is to develop themselves. Imagine the woman’s beauty fading away with time and he finds another woman. She will be left without a job and alone with the children. Staying only with the financial support of the father. In this scenario, women who are staying at home and only taking care of their physical appearance without working on their mind and body, risk of being a single mother without a personal life and development. I understand that Tate is a person who prefers that scenario, but I don’t think he should push other men and women to have the same way of thinking. He has influence over young people.
Simple solution to that:
1) sex before marriage is banned.
2) adultery is illegal

While my belief system is somewhere between Tates and Piers on this issue, what Piers doesn’t understand is that if we talk to women about the standards they have for an acceptable husband, and one of them is to ensure stable income, give a degree of safety, and the ability to have the freedom from having the burdon of making large impactful decisions.. then a man has a right to have expectations from the wife. Piers thinks Tate is wanting to have the world look like a bunch of stepford wives. That’s just his home preference.
