I watched the show late. Raced through both seasons on Netflix and Miguel immediately became my favourite character. Xolo is so good in this role and he is so cute.
Cobra Kai! Never dies! The writers for this make the characters so human. They all have flaws and make some bad decisions at times. I think that's part of the appeal of the original movies. Cobra Kai is the best new show!

Plus Jacob and Peyton the actors of Hawk and Tory are great friends in real life have great chemistry with each other since they both worked together in Disney. So I can see writers using that to create a new pairing.
Covid19 almost took me out I'm back home with my wife and kids and fully recovered. Very grateful to have a second chance at life, but also grateful that I will get to see Cobra Kai season 3. This is my favorite show I have rewatched seasons 1 and 2 so many times I have been anticipating this release like so many others ever since I binged season 2. I cant wait! To all of you out there stay healthy. We will get through this.

We know the show is in post and it's probably already done, but there's no way they can release it right now. It's a smart business decision. Some of us think that Cobra Kai is what we need right now to feel a bit more encouraged during the pandemic, but it wouldn't be right to require people to pay to watch it when many have lost their jobs and struggling to pay bills and buy food. The last thing people are doing right now is paying for CZcams subscriptions. And this is just a guess. I of course don't know and am waiting eagerly like everyone else.

Yes, they have us 80's babies hooked. I love how the story line is evolving with adding more depth to the Karate Kid narrative. How we get to see why Johnny ended up being a bully and seeing how he was abandoned by his real father & bullied by his step father. Daniel revisiting Okinawa and learning more of Mr. Miyagi's history. I'm addicted. I just got caught up with Season 1, 2, & 3 during this pandemic. The nostalgia has really been a comfort to me amidst the chaos. I'm ready for season 4!
And I love that this show is showing what would of happened if Daniel went to kobra Kai and what Johnny would of been like if he went with miyagi do karate because Miguel started off more like Daniel and vice versa

I know it’s not a very popular show at all but I’m rewatching right know and it been about 5 years since I watched it and I completely forgot he was in Parenthood but I watched Kobra Kai season 1 and 2 and know I’m watching Parenthood again and I relized that was him so that’s awesome. When you think about it the show cobra kai is kinda like yin and yang cuz Johnny is always like no mercy and finish it but miagi do is yang cuz its like calm and balance and avoid fights.
Good Good he did say Johnny Miguel dynamic and all that he liked about filming season 3, even that in itself is a minor but legal spoiler pretty much finally ,so that's a good sign, so bare minimum that means Johnny will be there helping him try to heal at the Hospital and visiting him a lot trying to motivate him to recover im sure and all that, so I guess only real question is would they really make it that dark and actually have him be flat out like paralyzed or unable to ever do Karate again and just be friends with Johnny or like a co teacher and not a top student anymore? I mean its so good Im sure the show would still be good even in that worst case scenario,but Hes simply gotta be able to do Karate again man if not itl really mess up the shows root like irreparably I think.

Unfortunately it's unlikely that we'll see Miguel fight in season 3. It seems to me that season 3 will focus more on the grown-ups than the kids and Miguel is gonna need a lot of rehab to get back to training. I'd say Miguel is more likely to get revenge on Robby in season 4.

I think the next season will take place over a longer period of time.. Like a big event may occur early, then months later it picks up again! Just a theory.. I read where cks3 will go further, deeper, and wider into the roots of Cobra Kai and Myagi Do. Can't wait to see it!

I wish we had some kind of approximate release date! :( I'm guessing one problem they're facing, is the amount of time between season 3 and season 4. As of right now (until recently that is), they've been giving us a year between seasons, which is an insane pace, and they're probably hoping to remain on that schedule. I'm guessing the show is probably about finished in editing as well. They say quarantine is an issue with that, but most of the editing, color grading, and sound design, probably can be, and IS being done at home. Things like ADR might be a little different tho. Again, I think the amount of time is the issue they're having, because as of this moment, they have no idea when they can go back to work and start shooting season 4, and they don't want there to be a two year span (or more) between seasons. However, they can't wait forever, and probably have a hard release date of Fall, as a worse case scenario. But I bet the ideal release date they have in mind, is probably July-August. And you can quote me on that!
I doubt that would happen. He doesn't seem to think very highly of Kresse. Not only Miguel questioned his integrity that Kresse lacks, he also questioned his way of training. Besides he looks up to Johnny more so as his sensi and a father figure that he doesn't have.
Actually i am losing faith there is a 3erd season so i came with my own story to finish the show. One that involves Johnny, Daniel and their students. The Name of this series is Cobra Kai, so this dojo must end with Laurence as the sensei. and the rivalry between Daniel and him must continue even if its only in a healthy competitive way. but not one they both end up as enemies. Think of this rivalry as the same between goku and Vegeta. they can't stand each other but they need each other. Johnny has to learn Miyagui do (Okinawa - Te) and adopt some of its teaching to his teaching but not forgetting his fundamentals , pretty much like Bruce lee did with jet kune do, mixing several martial arts to develop one of his own. Let's face it Johnny is a loser! and so is his son Robby, but it doesn't matter how much you lose in life, is how much you lose and still able to stand up an keep fighting. Laurence have done this again and again and even when he won on the All Valley Tournament, he lost, as not fun all what he teach to his student was unleash on his own flesh and blood. He lost his son there, losing it to his rival Daniel, who practically adopt him after that. the story of Johnny is that of a person who keeps standing up after defeat, not accepting it, and keep on fighting, wining is not the goal as even wining can bring defeat in it self, the important thing is not so reaching the goal, is never giving up on it, and your best ally to do this is time, you have all the time ahead of you to keep fighting like his brother in arms told him as his last words before he die. That is a awesome creed. I wish Johnny realize this at some point.

I wish we had some kind of approximate release date! :( I'm guessing one problem they're facing, is the amount of time between season 3 and season 4. As of right now (until recently that is), they've been giving us a year between seasons, which is an insane pace, and they're probably hoping to remain on that schedule. I'm guessing the show is probably about finished in editing as well. They say quarantine is an issue with that, but most of the editing, color grading, and sound design, probably can be, and IS being done at home. Things like ADR might be a little different tho. Again, I think the amount of time is the issue they're having, because as of this moment, they have no idea when they can go back to work and start shooting season 4, and they don't want there to be a two year span (or more) between seasons. However, they can't wait forever, and probably have a hard release date of Fall, as a worse case scenario. But I bet the ideal release date they have in mind, is probably July-August. And you can quote me on that!

I doubt that would happen. He doesn't seem to think very highly of Kresse. Not only Miguel questioned his integrity that Kresse lacks, he also questioned his way of training. Besides he looks up to Johnny more so as his sensi and a father figure that he doesn't have.

Actually i am losing faith there is a 3erd season so i came with my own story to finish the show. One that involves Johnny, Daniel and their students.
The Name of this series is Cobra Kai, so this dojo must end with Laurence as the sensei. and the rivalry between Daniel and him must continue even if its only in a healthy competitive way. but not one they both end up as enemies. Think of this rivalry as the same between goku and Vegeta. they can't stand each other but they need each other.
Johnny has to learn Miyagui do (Okinawa - Te) and adopt some of its teaching to his teaching but not forgetting his fundamentals , pretty much like Bruce lee did with jet kune do, mixing several martial arts to develop one of his own.
Let's face it Johnny is a loser! and so is his son Robby, but it doesn't matter how much you lose in life, is how much you lose and still able to stand up an keep fighting. Laurence have done this again and again and even when he won on the All Valley Tournament, he lost, as not fun all what he teach to his student was unleash on his own flesh and blood. He lost his son there, losing it to his rival Daniel, who practically adopt him after that. the story of Johnny is that of a person who keeps standing up after defeat, not accepting it, and keep on fighting, wining is not the goal as even wining can bring defeat in it self, the important thing is not so reaching the goal, is never giving up on it, and your best ally to do this is time, you have all the time ahead of you to keep fighting like his brother in arms told him as his last words before he die. That is a awesome creed. I wish Johnny realize this at some point.

@@davidthorpe3122 Yeah it's unfortunate but the only exercise Miguel will be doing in season 3 is rehab. Here's hoping when Miguel does get back on his feat and in fighting shape he does to Robby what Jason Todd did to Dr.Light in Titans 2018 season 2.
