It is not anymore 2019.Not so easy. Also probably in the future Vietnam could be like China. They are kicking out non natives, not giving Visa to teach English language, so they are coming to Vietnam and they find they have to spend a lot of money for legalization. I understand that a lot of Africans, Muslims, South Americans want to work, but if they come a lot massively a lot of problems. Last time a person from Nigeria told me she is a Doctor and English language is his native language 😂 not even South Africa is considered here a NES country they need to get a c1. Also there are a lot of Filipinos, Indians and Russian looking for jobs, why does she think she will receive the Job if already there are people here with all documents legalized. Another woman, from Zambia, she mentioned she will pay 1500usd to a school and she will not receive a business Visa, she will receive a working Visa. I also came legally and the ministry of labour will decide if I get the work permit. I don't know but I am prepared to go to Thailand, less salary but more conections. The funny thing is that my school paid for my airplane tickets. So if you want to know if your school is serious you should ask to pay for your airplane tickets.

He English degrees are preferred however, a degree in any field is also accepted with C1 and Tefl certificates
Also, please don't believe all what you see CZcams. It is true there are jobs in the countryside, I got my Job, but they told me that I look like European. In big cities there are a lot of native and there are more people looking for jobs. Before 2020 it was easier. I don't recommend any African or Muslim to come this days because already it is getting saturated the market (a lot of Russians and Ukrainians) I saw an African crying because she was scammed, she was asking for help to change school, but you can't change for school easily, you have to leave the country and start again. Another problem is the work permit, the ministry of labour will decide if you receive your work permit, not your school. In every Province the ministry of labour is different. Better bring a lot of money 8000usd for safety.

I have a four-year bachelor degree in law. + I have 180-hour TEFL certificate. BTW, i'm non-native, but European.
Only problem is that i don't want to take IELTS exam again, it expired the last year.
My question is that: if i get EF SET certificate with C1+ band, is it okay to find a job or do they only accept IELTS? 🙁🤔

Bussines visa at the embassy 100 USD business Visa multiple entry 3 months, translation in Vietnam if your documents are in English 80.000 vnd, if your documents are in a difficult language 500.000 vnd. Some schools use agent for the advicing process (7.000.0000vnd, your boss could pay 100 percent, 50 percent or nothing) Heath check up 650000 vnd. I don't know yet TRC, work permit.

Everyone is safe in Vietnam. They pay in dollars minimum 1000$ for a teaching position.
