unreal atmosphere… the only
Thing that ever comes close for me was when vinny scored that screamer against Leicester… for about 10 min after that goal the stadium was jumping… it was scenes… tens of thousands of grown men brought to tears of joy when mr Manchester steps up and smashed us infront which looked like the game we was gonna give the advantage to Liverpool coz we simply couldn’t get through but thankfully we got that goal and managed to seal the the title on the last day

Leroy Sane...a MASSIVE player for City....sorely missed...no doubt......Aguero...what can you say.....LEGEND.......

3 years later, City are better in every department, but there's never going to be another legend like Aguero

I'll never forget this game. January 2019. The adrenaline rush for 90 minutes was something else. Never felt prouder to support Man City. The team fought like hell and went on to win the title. I cried. 😂😂😂😂
Wait this was 3 years ago? Feels like yesterday. One of the most memorable and important wins in Man City’s history. Great game.

The counter attacks aren't the same since Sane has left.
Aguero goal was a stunner
He loved smashing em at the near post… used to always have any goalkeeper off with it… de gea seemed to always nearly get the roof of his net took off every time Aguero smashed one at the near post 😂
And did you see not 10 seconds earlier he was on the floor from a challenge by VVD. Here you can see what type of assassin goal scorer he was ( he could smell that he was gonna score and just let his instincts take over )
I miss Aguero & Sane, I'd love to see Sane in the blues shirt once again in the near future, one of my favorite Premier League games. 💙
i still don't understand why did Sané left for Bayern munich .. wa all know the Bundesliga is the easiest ever and there is no challenge at all there
I’m not even a City fan, and Sane was one of my fav City players (PL players as a matter of fact) of my time watching the PL (over a decade)
Hope to

What are your memories of this game?! I was sat behind the goal just as Sane angled the winning goal into the net. Absolutely incredible atmosphere all night!
I remember celebrating Aguero's goal like crazy , then Liverpool equalised and Leroy broke through again in the 73rd or so minute.
This game changed the course of the league 💙💙😂
Stones was an absolute legend without him man city would've tied but he managed to do it for his team :)
@@cofilamua2578 ummm bruh what is this??!

I’ve been going watching the blues most weeks since 2002 and this one arguably the best game I’ve ever attended, the football and the passion was breathtaking…. This was one of the best matches I've seen EVER.
It was so competitive with very high level from both teams.
The intensity in this game! Omg!! I still get goosebumps!
One my favourite matches as a City fan, the crowd was electric
Matchday 21, this fixture was hands down the the turning point and most important match of that season. Incredible to think that the title race essentially turned on a few fateful moments on the smallest of margins. Mane hitting the post just a few cms too flush and the ball kicks straight back the way it came in, Stones' initial clearance being a couple inches from clearing Ederson, and then Stones clearing the deflected ball of the line with a few millimeters to spare in a matter of seconds. That Aguero goal is classic Sergio, finding the few inches of space to bury one in the top of the net from the tightest margins over Alisson's shoulder. Liverpool's beautifully worked equalizer coming from across that was mere inches over Laporte's effort to head it clear, Sane's inch perfect winner off the inside of the post... Both sides fought hard all night long, but the margins favored City as they took all 3 and closed the gap in the tables to 4. A few weeks later on Matchday 24 both clubs dropped points as City lost for the last time that season and Liverpool grew their lead back to 5 points after a draw against Leicester. The following weeks see Liverpool only manage draws in 3 of their next 5 as they drop 6 points, while City get red hot as ever as they embarked on that incredible 14 match win streak to close out the season. After Matchday 29, City passes Liverpool to take a 1 point lead in the standings and never looked back. Both clubs closed out the season keeping the pressure to win on each other with neither dropping any points in the final 9 matches of the season... 18-19 was probably the most historic and intense title race between two clubs that the Premier League will ever see.
Analyst of the season, great.
I’ve been watching City for nearly 50 years and seen some great games at both Maine Road and the Etihad, this was probably the most memorable game, an absolutely brilliant atmosphere, certainly the best since we moved there in 2003, the City fans carried the team through that game, and after the loss to Newcastle in January, the remaining 14 victorious league games leading up to the end of that brilliantly memorable season. Without doubt our greatest title victory. To come through in the end under all that pressure, winning 14 games in a row, playing mostly after the dippers, with all our injuries and such a difficult run in, showed what a brilliant effort it was. Pep and our magnificent squad of players fully deserved the title and everything else that followed that season. Brilliant memories. MCFC loyal since 1973.
In terms of quality, stakes, intensity pressure and out this goes down as one of the greatest games ever played in the pl
I am not a man city fan but I remember that match. Sane break the net with his shot and agueros. I miss aguero
The highest quality game of football in premier league history. 2 teams so far clear of everyone else, 99 points vs 97 and Liverpool went on to win the Champions league, it really was a flawless title race between 2 heavyweights
It was 98 to 97.
Yep true and Liverpool was champion until the 38th minute of the last day hhhh I still remember it was a crazy season from both teams something special
I shall never forget this match, it had everything, including my second favourite Aguero goal. He should have been given a penalty but the way he lashed it into the back of the net from such a tight angle shortly after, gave me goosebumps… as did Sané's finish that sent them packing!
This vid should be higher quality though…
Hopefully we see more of the same this weekend against Liverpool. CMON CITY
Crazy finish from Kun with his weak foot. Our counter attacks were lightning fast back then with Leroy and Raz🔥
Reminds me of Aguero's legacy, and in the end the final goodbye was😢💔
That was what a game man it was so good the atmosphere everything even those we lost the title it was such a good year between us and city if only we didn’t bottle it but still it was exciting I want to say that city are the best team in the world

This match was so much more than a 2-1 scoreline. It had almost everything. Nerve wracking! I couldn't wait for the final whistle to be blown. Best teams in the League.
I will never forget this game! What an absolutely indelible experience, the worst part now is that Sane is gone. He was my favorite player after Aguero, not even KDB or Sterling were the apple of my eyes back in the days.
Still remember this game i was sat in the family stand, miss aguero and sane
One of the most memorable matches for me.feels like yesterday!🔥
What a game! Still one of my all-time favourite football games. It was so tactical, physical, and emotional - I still get goosebumps watching that Sane goal. The City fans seriously turned it up that night. And the fact that we went on to win the league in that season, despite being like 9, 10 points behind LFC in Nov/Dec makes this game and that season even more special for me.

This game had everything. City comeback, Stones masterpiece, a smooth Sane finish and a title decider game overall. Can't believe it's been more than 3 years. I wish I could see Sane in the City shirt once again. Missing the trio of Sane, Sterling and Aguero from 4 years back. Good times!

As a United fan , I can’t help but admit that 2018-2019 city is one of best squads ever assembled.
The importance of this game can never be underestimated. If Liverpool had won this, their team would have been dubbed the Invincible Centurions instead of the 97 point 2nd placed team.

Siempre nos dan partidazos, partidos que si honran este deporte…aplausos para ambos equipos 👏🏻👏🏻
Too much enthusiasm 🔥😊
Damn i realy miss sane
Watching this breaks my heart! how we use to play, with flying wingers and a very real threat on the counter. Now, we just hold the ball and allow the opposition to sit back and hold on tight. We miss having a striker who stays up the pitch and is a viable option to link up play and allow the likes of Sane and Sterling to run off him. Oh, bring back those days, please. Maybe Alvarez will give us this option next year. Why did we have to sell Sane???????
Good thing we will play with Haaland next season
Haaland should take the focus off our wingers and overlapping full backs. And Sane left cause he wanted to. City don't want to hold anyone hostage, that just creates tension in the team.
and now leroy, sterling has left, man city soul has left not same like good old days
Great tackle by Kompany from a Stones switch off. He is a lot more focussed these days. Agueroooooooo and the winner from Sane who was an ever present in this City side until he got homesick. I know people will say the current City team is better but this was also a great team as was the one before with Tevez and in that team Milner was on the right side.
T
he crowd is AWESONE!
What a stunning goal that was from Aguero, he lashed that shot into the net before the keeper could even blink, never mind move ...
