We have a British Short hair Liberty who showed up at our backdoor and never left. She is white with a beautiful blue-grey pattern and green eyes and she tipped the scales at 16 pounds lol. She's a very sweet cat that likes to give kitty kisses and snuggle up to you. Her brother in the corner up there gives the video two paws up🐾💞🐈💞🐈😍

I love this chanel and I love British Shorthairs, but you guys put a lot of Scottish Folds (and likely Scottish Straights) in the clips of this video. I'm not complaining as I own a Scottish Fold aswel as a Scottish Straight and appearance and character wise they are pretty much the same as British Shorthairs exept for the folded ears of course.
Hi Tamara. 😺 It can be tricky to work with stock footage. For example, an artist might label a British Shorthair/Scottish Fold mix as just a British Shorthair or the artist may have simply mislabeled it. It happens! But thanks for your good eye. We try our best. 🐈

Well, I did not know that they originated in Egypt and Rome!! Do some of them have the folded ears?? Or were other breeds mixed in with them in some of the pictures. They were all adorable!!!😸
100% British Shorthairs do not have folded ears, but some of these were part Scottish Fold! Glad you enjoyed it. 😸

If the loudest purrer was a tortoiseshell-- it was a "she" not a "he". Male torties are extremely rare.
A lot of the cats in this video are Scottish Folds, not British Shorthairs. BSHs do not have folded ears.
I have a black BSH and I think I may actually love her more than my wife and children at times. 😍

It’s a shame you can’t be bothered to show British shorthair in your images instead of Scottish folds and Persians. And no mention of bi-colour shorthairs. Ours made me turn the thing off when he realised that.

We had a British Shorthair called Korky when I was a child. He was an absolute darling of a cat, so gentle and patient. Now and again I would put a baby doll's bonnet on him and push him down the road in my Silver Cross doll's pram; one day he had had enough, jumped out and ran all the way home with the bonnet still on. 😙🐱❤❤❤💕
