    Forgive the bad voice actor... I didn't pay him anything. Really, my mic is real bad, so I had to speak all monotone to not get pops every 2 words.

      @@XxTexasTimxX what I've been struggling with is stagger pressure mostly, does it only work with normals? Cause I've been having some difficulty with delaying special cancels and such. And I just really generally have issues with mixing up the opponent with FSeifuku when I can't get the oki game running, would you have any other suggestions for that?

    Very useful for the new melty blood cuz akiha looks to have everything from f seifuku

      She looks to have a lot of similarities to F-moon. Specials from F-moon, normals from C-moon.

      Nice lol. A lot of her new kit looks like F-Sie, but some looks like C. Hopefully, this can give you a rough idea. Her new 214 series looks pretty different in Lumina.

    Just got into melty blood and saw what she could do so I’m deciding to learn her. She reminds me of Millia Rage in Guilty Gear who I main.

      @XxTexasTimxX  Před 3 lety

      Welcome. I can def see why youd compare her to millia, with the way her oki works. Hope you enjoy the game. :) Its a really good game, and it looks like Akiha in Type Lumina will have many similarities to this char.

    This is cool but when's the hsei tutorial ;)

  • @XxTexasTimxX
    @XxTexasTimxX  Před 11 lety +1

    Yeah sry about not sounding interested. It's one of the reasons I would be a bad teacher. Also I found that the mic did not pop as much if I talked that way, so I just went with it. I thought it would be better to be understood, than to be more lively...
    If I narrate again, I'll try and work on that.

  • @XxTexasTimxX
    @XxTexasTimxX  Před 11 lety

    I can't imagine what C-Arc would be like if she had an oki set-up like this. Partial charged 5B into 2A high low mix up is already really strong. And with her damage output being as high as it is, it's prolly for the best. F-SAkiha, gets strong mix-ups, but really poor damage.
    You are right though, half circle A is still pretty good mix-up for wall slam EX into 2B 2C knockdown, if you can get the TKs right (7 or 8 or 9).

  • @martessprak
    @martessprak Před 11 lety +1

    TK 236C pressure's got me wondering if I can do the same with C-Arc's TK 63214C (9 jump). I don't think it's out there that long but you've given me some stuff to think about thanks.
    Been character-whoring to understand what I'm up against. I appreciate this and all tutorials to come.

    This was a really good/helpful video, my only suggestion would be that the music was pretty loud

    • @XxTexasTimxX
      @XxTexasTimxX  Před 2 lety

      Thanks, glad you liked it. Yeah, the vid is super old now, but if Im remembering right, the crap mic I had would pop and crackle if I talked louder. I think I had to cut single words out of the audio, and then go rerecord them, until they were at least understandable, lol. Then normalizing only does so much. If I ever narrate again, I prolly wont have this issue.

    • @sink9035
      @sink9035 Před 2 lety

      @@XxTexasTimxX I think your mic and voice/tone were fine, you were very informative and annunciated well

  • @XxTexasTimxX
    @XxTexasTimxX  Před 11 lety

    Yeah, sry. I have since gotten a better mic, so if I ever narrate another tutorial, it should not be a problem. My voice in this one was elevated as much as my editor would allow, and the music was at something like 10% throughout most of it.

  • @Inso10
    @Inso10 Před 11 lety

    You sound so bored, Tim. xD The video is great nonetheless.
    I've tried her a little the time AA was out and found her to be pretty straighforward and convenient (much like F-Aoko) but her damage is ass in CC. There is one Akiha player here that is trying Seifuku out lately but so far he's struggling. He won't drop her no matter how much I tell him to, so I'm sure he'll appreciate this video.

  • @pseudomac
    @pseudomac Před 2 lety

    I noticed a difference between the Wiki and this video for mix. The Wiki says to do 668 into your options as opposed to sj. Are either of these usable?

    • @XxTexasTimxX
      @XxTexasTimxX  Před 2 lety +1

      Either method will work to produce a mix up. There might be slight timing differences in frame advantage between the two, and slight spacing differences if you decide to land cross up or air dash back to same side. Depends a little bit on which mix option you choose to go for.
      Try em both, use the one you like the best, or use em both to try and throw off the opponent more if you see that they are used to dealing with a specific kind of mix. People often over think the mix options when defending this char, because she can hard down and mix again so quickly if she keeps scoring hits.
