After a walk fest at either theme park or just want a lazy day, nothing better than a ride on the monorail. One of Disney's ride that are free to ride. Thanks for the video, you take care

I’ve always wondered about that and can’t really find any info so could you elaborate? I read somewhere that you need a park ticket at least to ride he monorail. Are you able to simply walk up and ride it if I have no park ticket at all?
@@samplautz5586 I think you'd need a ticket to get into the parking lot with your car but honestly I'm not sure. I guess if you had a lot of time to kill you could probably ride the bus from Disney Springs (free parking) to a resort, then a bus from that resort to Magic Kingdom or Epcot (or maybe ride the bus directly from Disney Springs to a monorail resort like Grand Floridian), and finally hop on the Monorail.

The Monorail is like Pirates of the Caribbean or Spaceship Earth its one of those things that u just have to go on while ur there. Its not a trip to Disney without a ride on the Monorail.

Same here Mike! I couldn’t imagine WDW without the monorail. I just wish that it would’ve been expanded to Hollywood Studios like originally planned in the 80s!

Everybody has "their thing" that gets them excited. Sports. Theater. Live music. Others... just love a simple monorail ride.

Good old monorail. Are services of the monorail back to normal now, they seem to have been disrupted for years :-)
Overall they have been working pretty consistently! A couple times the past month they went down but during most of my trips to MK, they’re always working!

I'm guessing the alligator wanted to get in line for Tron early. Lol The monorail is always a treat. Wish it could've been extended to the Studios or AK. But maybe we'll get the Skyliner to AK. Fantastic vid 4K.
Hahaha yea you may be right! That gator is always staring in the direction of Tron😂 But I also wish the monorail would’ve been extended to the Studios like originally planned. I could only imagine what an awesome ride that would be, especially during the MGM days. I do think the Skyliner to AK will happen eventually! Thanks so much as always Andrew 😃
🚝Was hoping for a transport vid (skyliner over CB? LOL) but it's been so long for me to go Epcot to MK via monorail, this is great! (Last time was dealing with mom in the wheelchair which I never thought I'd do- so seeing that guy pushing one brought me right back there)Seeing the entrance😍sign of MK from on high, going thru the Comtempo & seeing🐊 wildlife, oh my! Heard our rail friend has been having some rough times recently so lucky you it worked. BTW, sorry 😩about that horrible issue of which you wrote because mine was nothing compared to that. I redesign thumbnails so I'm always aware. (Oh, I know too well about triggering & being being DELETED on your site) This was cool thx 4🏰🌞💜
I’m planning another skyliner video very soon! Overall even I wouldn’t use the Epcot-MK monorail line that much but ever since construction started, I’ve been using it pretty often! That gator as you approach MK is always there and for some reason, he always is in that exact spot! Thankfully the monorail worked well and the speakers have been improved as well from what I’ve noticed. I always appreciate your kindness Liz, and hopefully at some point things will improve on CZcams soon (especially with the deleting comments issue)
This was a pretty calm ride. Usually I get a laugh from the colorful parental communications. 😂

Nothing like getting on the monorail while heading to one of the parks! You can feel the excitement in the air.
Riding the Monorail is half the fun of going to WDW!! I Love it so much, I have a bumper sticker that says 'My other ride is the Magic Kingdom Monorail', a monorail key chain, & even a plaque in my entryway with a pic of Mickey & Monorail on it that states 'Please stand clear of the doors'! AWESOME!!

The best way to end a day at WDW is to ride the monorail and the best part of this video was it going through contemporary resort it was nice to actually see it from inside the monorail

I was lucky enough to get to sit in the cockpit of this as a kid, and it was an awesome experience, 1 I'll never forget.

Love seeing the gator from the safe distance of the monorail. Always happy getting to ride the monorail. Plan on doing it a number of times in August.

Yes, both wheelchairs & ECVs fit in the monorails!

Give me Mo Mo Monorail please! It’s a mode of transport & a ride in one. I’m still holding out hope that one day they’ll allow people up in front again. Great job as always K. Loved the “two-camera shoot” from the TTC to the MK. And an alligator too; crikey! 😄

Walt once said that he wanted the guests to leave the world behind by concealing the outside world by building the berm. I didn’t know the interstate was apart of the berm.
I'm going to Walt Disney World next Spring and I'll get footage of the Railroad, Monorail, & buses.
Got curious about how fast these vehicles can move; apparently top speed in operation is around 40mph or so.

I remember one time i was at disney world with my family and it was a football day so they stayed at the hotel to watch thr game. I dont care for football so i enjoyrd a day at the park to myself. One of yhe things i did was get on the monorail at epcot and ride it to magic kingdom and back. When it got to the ticket and transportation center someone getting off asked if i was getting off too and i explained that i was just riding the monorail because i enjoy it. They laughed and told me to enjoy.
Thats a fun memory.
