    Nice truck. I've moved up to a 2019 3500 Laramie Sport HO AISIN dually with auto level rear air. I have a slide in truck camper. Best truck I ever owned. Takes the camper with no additional modifications. Also gets excellent fuel economy. Great video showing how the Susp works for the Ford and GM guys on the fence. I was a Chevy guy until 2016. I have three Ram Heavy Duties in my felt now.

    Thanks for taking time to help us on this feature. Basically, the air suspension is just for compensating to level with a load. I think a lot of people would like to think an air suspension will give 3/4 ton trucks a 1/2 ton ride. You put that myth to rest. No it does not. I think that comment was the most important part of your video.

Thank you for taking the time to make it. One question I did not see an answer to that I was hoping you could let me know--what size Carli lift do you have--the 2.5 inch or 3.25 inch? Pintail, Commuter or Backcountry? I'm looking to put either/or on my 2021 Dodge Ram 2500 Longhorn that I just purchased. Will run 35's BFG KO2s on the stock rims. Let me know as soon as you can. Question I have gasser ram2500 4x4 rear air suspension towing 9500 pound 35 foot travel trailer. No one has described to me how to use equalizer 4 weight distribution hitch without the ram air suspension taking the load off the bars thereby defeating the purpose of equalizer sway control. Anyone figured out how to set wdh up on this truck?

    • @JasonS_IN317
      @JasonS_IN317 Před 2 lety

      I did it on my 2019 3500. I repositioned the head to compensate for the suspension raising and taking load off of the bars. The truck may level itself but it's not a replacement for a weight distributing hitch so the front of the truck will still lift some without it. Measure your front end to make sure it stays level. It took me a couple adjustments but works great.

  • @sosc25
    @sosc25 Před 3 lety

    I just ordered almost the exact truck and going to put a lift on it. I am planning on using the AEV lift which provides front and rear lift, which should lift the truck 2-3 (they say it's a 3" lift). I can't figure which of those two numbers is correct because of the rear air system. How much lift did it give you? I've run a two inch level kit on the front of my truck for years which allowed me to run 35" tires on the stock wheels.
