  • Jamey Price is an award winning photographer that has travelled far and wide to photograph for his high profile motorsport clients. From 24 hour races, to Formula 1, to lawn mower racing, he's seen it all - with the exception of a few races he still has to check off his list.
I sat down with Jamey ahead of the Rolex 24 in Daytona to get the insider scoop on his career path and what it takes to become a motorsport photographer.

Really enjoyed around 14:00 - 15:00. So true - the amount of work that goes into getting that money shot is under appreciated. I guess with everyone having a camera in their pocket these days, it's bound to happen that people think they can take amazing shots.

This is such a good video. I’ve always wanted to know the ins and outs of the motorsport photography world

My number 1 pet peeve is when someone tells me “wow that’s a great picture, you must have a really good camera “ 🙄 you have to know the how what and when on the camera to get the shot !!

Thank you both for that interview. Have been following Jamey for awhile now on TikTok and love his BTS content. Fancy myself a bit of a photographer in motorsport, so all his tips and insights are very appreciated.

Really great video and thank you for the interview. My wife and I started shooting races last year hitting up Sebring, Daytona Rolex, Limerock, and Watkins Glen. This video was very helpful and gave us alot to think about. The issue we are running into is the accreditation and access (I actually had to look it up after Jamey mentioned it). was SO jealous of seeing him behind the barriers at Watkins Glen. Access provides you so many better opportunities. And I definitely get his comments on carrying gear for 20 hours over two days of racing.. its back breaking. But when you love what you do and love what you create...
