What a beautiful man: recognizing that they are babies and treating them accordingly, while also knowing they are wild animals and belong in their natural habitat. God bless him, and all who work so lovingly to safe these precious animals. We truly need more like you in all walks of life.

Very touching to see how he jumped into her arms immediately when she extended her arm which is a motherly warm welcome. Kudos to the pilot.
When he says the the woman receiving the babies “knows the body language so they’re always happy to jump in her arms” I rewound to watch a few times. Remarkable.
It's quite touching the way he treated this little guy, but it infuriates me that the poachers and traffickers took him in the first place.

He is a hero. He downplays himself and talks up the others in the chain.
I think this is one of the sweetest videos I've ever seen. Not only the gentleness and care the pilot takes, but the woman who greets them at the destination. Her smile and the chimp's readiness to go into her arms.... priceless and wonderful.
I don’t have his strength, to see those loving eyes and let them go knowing their existence in the wild is more important than my emotional needs as a man wanting for care for another animal. He’s an inspiration.
This is how men and women should be, caring about animals and their habitats.
