Wrong. It did not get hated on because it wasn’t made by rocksteady. It got hated on because it’s buggy and once again uses the joker where fans don’t want him. I really wish people would stop arguing dishonestly about the reason players have issues with games. Nobody ever said the reason for not liking the game is because it’s not made by rocksteady. That would be really stupid. That being said, origins is still a decent game and could be great if a few things were tweaked. Certainly not a masterpiece
@@johnferranti3566I appreciate that you see it is a game but I must disagree, it is a masterpiece and I don't think we as fans have a right to be entitled to say if we should or should not have Joker in it. I'm with the opinion that the people who are super ultra bitchy and whiney about Joker being in all of the games is really selfish. Your not the ones making the games contributing hundreds and thousands dumped into time, effort, super fine details. What direction the story should go and take. You , me and anyone who was not apart of Rocksteady or WB Montreal too put hard effort and dedicated work and billions of ideas on how the gameplay should be what new things should be added etc. We should shut our mouths and be happy and greatful for the blessing of the Arkham Games that we got. Joker is totally fine to be in All of them
Its a nice detail that when Batman is saving Alfred in the Batcave the character subtitles list him as 'Bruce Wayne' showing how vulnerable and human he is in that moment
Arkham origins was actually really fun. It felt like an expansion pack to the series if anything. Like Warner bros could easily do their own Arkham games if they get rocksteadys blessings. I could see more of these genuinely being good.
I haven’t been able to play it because I don’t have a ps3 but man, watching a playthrough of this game felt just like watching those Christmas specials on tv, and I absolutely love it!
Origins was the first game I bought with my own money and it is I’m my opinion one of the best games I’ve ever played and a worthy continuation of the prior two Arkham games unlike the fourth entry
Arkham City is hands down the best out of the series imo but Arkham Origins is my personal favorite. I enjoyed this game back when it first came out and I'm glad ppl are now realizing how great the game is since some years have passed.
I agree in almost everything that you said, except I don't think batman has given up in Arkham knight I just think he faked his death just to protect the ones he care about, also think that's great that Jason helps him in the end. He also still got Alfred.
But I also don't like the way they treat that joker disease, I would much more prefer the idea that scarecrow toxin made batman afraid, afraid that he loses control, and afraid of became like joker.
I'd honestly like this one more than other 3. Arkham orgins does alot stuff you don't get to see too much anymore. Seeing batman having to deal with his limitations and not being a perfect badass that always wins.
I both love and hate this game. Love it because the gameplay was on par with City, Roger and Troy gave amazing performances considering the shoes they had to fill, I love winter settings and the Azbat suit was cool as hell in the context of a game extra. Hate it because it's the only Ps3 game that I had the disc completely die on me. That and PS2 Vice City are the only cases I've experienced of a disc becoming unplayable without major physical damage. Vice City was a widely known issue that plenty experienced near endgame and you could still get a few minutes before it would happen, my Ps3 stopped recognizing Origins as a Ps3 disc altogether
I never had an issue with origins. I know some fans hate it for some reasons, like the time changes, but it’s not an issue for me. I just enjoy the game.
I feel that a reason some people may have been turned off to AO is because in AA and AC they focused on story telling first and character development second while AO did the opposite, and a lot of people also did the whole "judging a book by its title"
While I do enjoy Batman and Alfred's arc during this, I've always been confused on when their argument took place. To me, it felt a bit out of place, like it was meant to happen earlier. I know for a fact I'm wrong on that, but I'm still confused by it.
I played and enjoyed the game but one criticism I have is Deathstroke in most versions he's supposed be a mirror for Batman if he choose to use his abilities for his own gain and can match him in most aspects I just wish he was more of a reoccurring boss who becomes stronger as he adapts to you. I will admit I grew up with the Teen Titans show so my bias is skewed a bit and was expecting him to be a much bigger character in the game if you thought that his portrayal was good I don't have anything against that it's just that Deathstroke was partly the reason why I interested in the game.
Also I just now realized that during Joker’s speech about how meeting Batman changed his perspective can be misinterpreted that he’s talking about Harley, the person he’s giving this speech to, due to the fact he at no point directly states who he’s referring to (at least to Harley). We the viewers knows who he’s talking about, but she doesn’t. Part of me think the reason Harley falls for him is because she thinks this is him confessing his feelings for her. I might be stating something obvious but it’s a neat detail that I just noticed.
Arkham Knight isn't perfect. But one of the key factors in that game is that everyone is after him and his allies, the family that he created. So, bruce distance himself, he pushes people away, in his own mind if they are farther away from him, they are safe. It's something he does a lot in the comics. Love the video by the way. You got why i love arkham origins so much.
My dad loved to play this game and I loved it aswell and still do. It has the best character writing, bosses and I'd say the best story. (I also prefer Troy Baker to Mark Hamill as the Joker. Hes still goated but I think Troy is better)
This game was so much fun. I had the privilege of playing the Arkham games for the first time last year. Origins was easily my favorite in a landslide. I do not understand why it keeps being passed over. It’s genuinely fantastic. All the great gameplay of City, but an even bigger sandbox to play around in, probably one of my favorite depictions of Gotham City in setting (though BTAS still is number 1 imho), fantastic voice acting, and the story is SO GOOD! Origins might be one of my favorites in Batman adaptations. It deserves more love and a GOTY remaster stop ignoring it WB. Also 🖕 at Arkham Knight. Thank you for your rant lol
I agree with the origins stuff. But you missed the point in Arkham Knight completely. Jokers psychopathy was determined to be a form of a brain degenerative disease that actually can be transferred by blood due to the fact that it is affected by proteins. Batman was able to even overcome that. And in the end he was becoming something different than batman. The bat we saw at the 100 percent ending.
I think Spider-Man PS4 has better side content, boss fights, the DLC is a +, and a way better story, Miles is still great imo, but I think Spider-Man PS4 is a lot better
Origins was good but i feel it got hate becuse of the games but it was made in the time asylum was made witch is a year so not that long thay still did really good it wasn't as good as city but thats given becuse city had more time and planing no neaded hate just becuse peaple wanted to complain about it not being rockstedy
Yes, it's the buggiest, yes the joker is a cop out, and yes, the challenged aren't the best (some are just there to be there and doing them in order is bad design considering it outright prevents you from gaining some by accident commonly no less), but it is fun, and some gadgets should have returned all things considered in Arkham knight like the shock gauntlets, and the heat suit for the freeze dlc, seriously those were cool ideas that were really fun to use. Same for the line launcher, attaching things to you're opponents is fun. The glue grenades were just the freeze grenades, but they're still fun. But instead, they act like it never existed, and that's a shame.
taking a jab at knight i see he just played stupid to act nothing makes sense by the way strange thought that he never would have to use the information because he has almost impossible odds and had multiple back up plans
The ending of arkham knight was so dissapointing. I would have rather seen it end when the arkham knight reveals his true identity and batman and him have a boss battle

Ok.
My only issue is that on a narrative level, they nerfed Deathstroke. I would have replaced him with Sportsmaster
Best boss fights in the arkham series
Yeah,I mean At least deathstroke doesn't use tank anymore and puts a fight, that's a W
In AK after his tank got destroyed,he was out with one punch😂
