I've lived here for 3 years. We're fully aware we get overcharged for things. After a while you'll learn to not go with the first or second price, but unless the price is outrageous, we don't mind. It's a blessing to be able to live here, and helping the locals make a living and feed their families is worth the extra $1 or $2. You'll most likely never get the same price they charge each other, and that's okay. It's the name of the game.

Yes we are indeed very proud of our coffee. I tried Starbucks for like 4-5 times, and it was so bad, just tasteless almost like water with coffee powder. You can have much better coffee with 1/3 the price on the streets.

The meeting with Binh seriously frightened me, it had nothing to do with the gentleman personally just from a NA perspective it's a shocking thing to do. I was a quarter sure you'd wake up in an icebath but he just wanted some company and to show off his art collection.
I commend your openness and agreeability.

@@SmeMaHu yeah I suppose, I've never had any interest in actual travel, all the entertainment I need is at my desk and all the supplies I could ever want are within walking distance so all this is alien to me. I congratulate these men on their exploration, especially on successfully monetizing it.

Yeah these kids don’t seem too bright to decide to go with that guy. Their inner alarm should have been going off, and they just threw caution to the wind, thinking nothing bad could happen to them. They will DEFINITELY pay for that one day if they continue to live so risky, not using critical thinking skills.
