I like the system but would prefer tower front speakers. Can you recommend a system between $1500-2000 that has tower front speakers?
Hello GradzkiMedia, can this setup transform 2.0 sound to 5.1? So for example i hook this thing up on my TV with the HDMI ARC input/output and it get 2.0 sound from my tv does the sound from my tv come from all the 5 speakers or only from the frond 2? When i hook up my phone with the audio in plug (red/white left and right) does the music come from all the speakers or only from the front 2?

How good are they for listening music? I am a big fan of rock music and I am looking for a sound system that is both good in giving some descent surrount like in the movie theater and that will do my collection of CDs justice
This is a pretty good system for music as well as movies. I had to lower the power on the subwoofer because it was too strong haha. But to be honest there are probably better systems currently out there.

Every time I turn the system off it starts back up on TV and I have to switch to hdmi 1. Is there anyway to start up on hdmi 1?
YouNgE209420 Not sure. Mine starts up on whichever source I leave it on. I tried it on both HDMI sources and TV.
Look through the settings and see if anything works.

Hi, I have a sony equal to yours and now I have a problem, I am paused and I cannot repair it, the lights just blink, what can I do?
cony Perez Honestly not sure. Have you tried unplugging it and turn it on again.
GradzkiMedia Yes, but it does not work, it only pauses all the functions, you see that when you turn it on, the lights start to go down and raise their tone until you can use it, they stay on, but mine stayed fixedly, it had already happened to me once and I don't remember how I fixed it, but thanks.
Will I be able to play music will I be able to play music from the TV without having a disc in the Blu-ray player? Is it only music playing through the Blu-ray player or is it a receiver and I can play music on other using another device
No disc is needed. You just have to plug the cable to output audio from the TV.

Purchased a system like this was good for about 2 years then it quit working. Sony sucks.
This isn't bad. Mine still works to this day, but I gotta say there are better systems out there these days.
I have two questions for you about this Sony system. 1. Is this system ideal for a big living room ? 2. Will turning up the distance for speakers on the menu boos their signal ?
