Riding A Cable Car Up to La Fortaleza de Kuelap in Peru

Heard so much about Chacapoyas, Peru and all the wonderful places to visit so had to take the trip up. One of the more well-known archeological sites is Kuelap Fortress, built by the Chacapoyan people about 2,000 years ago. From Chacapoyas you can take a collectivo van to the town of Nuevo Tingo and from there a bus to a cable car to the welcome center for Kuelap. From there it's about a 30 minute walk to the fortress. Unbelievable.
