Color opposites like that are probably not functional since any mixing would turn a nasty shade of brown, but high contrast would be nice. Blue and white, pink and black, purple and teal...
@@adde9506 I'm sure if you're careful about the mixing, the colors can stay distinct, even when "swirled" together. Watch Ophelia's Soapery video "Spellbound Cold Process Soap Making" she used orange, green, purple and black in that soap, and there was no "nasty shade of brown" in it.
This one is close to my heart. I have a turtle son lol and he is over 30 years old. They will out live us with proper care and love. I hope humans can get it together to clean up this planet, not just the ocean for future generations.
100%! It is so often that I see people open their car doors and throw their plastic drink bottles and cellophane wrappers on the ground and it makes me so sad and angry 😠 our poor beautiful planet deserves so much better.

Yes! My daughter had one that we kept on our tiny balcony as we didn’t have our own garden. The Residents Committee complained about the “green plastic animal”. What a terrible sight, a child enjoying her sand pit. Miserable sods!
For most designs, I like the two-tone piping. Between embeds, glitter, and piping, a lot of drizzles just don't stand out on the tops of frosted soaps. I LOVE the drizzles on low-tops though! 💖
Thank you for supporting sea turtle conservation. I do sea turtle nesting patrol on the west end of Galveston and also am a volunteer at the Sea Aggie Turtle Hospital as well as do rescues for stranded or caught turtles. Very rewarding work to help save these wonderful creatures. So far our patrol team has located 91 nesting turtles along the Texas Coast. The eggs are harvested, taken to a safe hatching facility, then released when they have a good chance of survival. Thanks again for this worthy cause.
The drizzle and the two toned piping make different statements and have different purposes. For soaps that are supposed to look "wet" or "sweet" drizzles are great. But two toned piping for greenery and clouds and fire and more abstract things is amazing. I wouldn't want you to just stop doing either one.

It depends on the soap design. If it’s a classy, sophisticated design, the more simple frosting. If it’s playful and whimsical, the multi colors are good. You have a great eye for pleasing designs. I have bought so much more soap then I need but they make great presents!! Your great!
How about a soap themed around raspberries or cherries? Cherries are currently back in season finally so I associate summer with their arrival ^_^ that or I'm just addicted to cherries A good name for the soap could be Cherry Bliss or Raspberry Sunrise. The raspberry soap could have orange drop swirls in it along with an orange scent
I’ve loved literally every soap you’ve made! Love all the piping no matter what, but I think certain designs are better fitted for the dual-tone and others for the drizzle. Side note: a white drizzle on this soap would have made the “waves” pop! Like the foam you see!

Sea turtles have been very special to me since my mom and grandmother grew up and live in Florida, sea turtles always remind me of family and bring me back to my roots, I will definitely be purchasing this soap! I like both the two-toned and the drizzle! They each have their unique charm. I really love the golden turtle embeds in this soap, too. So cute, especially with the pink, teal, and gold colors of the soap!

This was awesome on multiple levels (as always)! It would also would be cool if you did a sand/tan color for frosting and you do your usual three layers but before you do the last peak row, you put little soap "egg" embeds. To resemble turtle eggs holed in the beach! And the adult turtle embed on top- so when cut it's a little life progression and just fun
Thank you for being such an amazing CZcams channel. Life has recently gotten super stressful and frustrating and I’ve noticed that after I watch your videos I’ve calmed down from my frustration. So when I get to stressed out with school or anything else I’m doing I will turn on a soap video and watch maybe 3 different ones and then go back to what I was doing with a better attitude. for the question of the day: I definitely like the two toned piping the most, it adds a lot more interest to the front face of the bar that you look at the most, especially two similar colours adds a subtle interest without taking away too much from the colour scheme!

The troublesome frosting actually played out nicely... It gave it a nice ombre effect.. Dark in the first layer and lighter in the top layer making it look like the ocean
I think the piping depends on the soap. I love both and you seem to always know when to go solid and when to use two colors. As always your cheery nature makes my day just that little bit better. Thanks again for sharing
All these gorgeous beachy summery soaps are just making the fact that i have 5 layers of clothing on, and am still cold, even more depressing (So cold in Australia at the moment!) ! Such a cute soap and I love that you are donating to help save the turtles!
Just an idea, but maybe a pearl white drizzle on top to look like the caps of the waves of sea foam would really bring that two different colour palletes together 😍

I love the two tone frosting, with or without the drizzle. The turtles are great. Would have liked to have seen them offset with some little starfish, or maybe some little fish. They just seem to be a little off balanced. The colors are spot on! Awesome job! Can't wait to see what you do for next year. 😁
I love when there’s two different colors in one piping bag! That lets the colors blend together a bit and creates a really neat effect in the frosting.

I love the drizzle of top, but you can only see that on the very top, whereas the two toned or ripple effect with the piping gives the whole piped section some depth when cut and doesn’t look like just a block of colour on top of the soap itself which has lots of pretties in it

The more colors the better ! My favorite type of soap frosting is when you put mica lines in the bag with a solid color!

My husband surfs and is taking my daughter this summer. I recommend at least trying it once. It's pretty cool!
