- The Cleveland Cavaliers wandered the NBA wilderness for three years after LeBron James left town for a second time in 2018. A rebuild was always going to happen post-James, but for Cleveland it was particularly painful.
Altman and Cavs started the rebuild with the goat on the roster. They’ve made enough of the right ones to put the Cavs in a position to compete for the next handful of seasons.
The rebuild is over. The path they are on now pushes the Cavs fully past that phase.

As long as Mobley&Allen works on rebounding, the FO works on their bench (Replace guys like Robin Lopez with guys like Naz Reid), and Garland/Mitchell both elevate their game this team is a legit contender

@@isit7189 They don't. Okoro is a standard 5th starter, someone who plays D, shoots the 3, stand in corners, that's it. It's like saying the Nuggets have to replace KCP. The problem with this team is that they have Dean Wade playing 30 minutes a game

Denver Nuggets Timeline from carmelo to Jokic’s Championship
Cavs have a hopeful and exciting future, Darius and Mobley still developing and getting playoff experience, Mitchell is just about entering his prime and their Eastern Rivals i.e. Bucks, 76ers and Heat are getting older and new CBA rules gonna hurt them. I feel they are one or two soild pieces like a better wing and rebounder away to be true contenders. Could only think of the Celtics to be their true rivals and maybe the Magic (bit of a reach) in near future.

@@jaywarvz idk why cavs fans expected the cavs to go far honest I saw the cavs glaring issues which was experience, spacing and rebounding(our bigs aren’t really big) plus coaching too. I’m glad we won a game tho. Best thing we got from this is playoff experience and the hunger to be better next season and hopefully improve the bench with shooters and actual bigs that are backups. Hopefully job can get better.
