⚠️ As mentioned by others in comments, This is NOT an Indian Supermarket, it's a Tamil supermarket run by "Yazh" tamilians who came from Yalpanam (Jaffna - Sri lanka). In fact, I'm more proud to say this is a Tamil Supermarket than mentioning it as Indian Supermarket. Since I'm from India and completely new to Canada and the Tamil culture here, I was not aware of this when I posted this video and I've learnt this thanks to others in the comments. As I'm accustomed to saying Indian Groceries in India, I've used the same words here so that newcomers who come from India to Canada can relate and understand. Later from the comments, I found that this is hurting the feelings of Eelam Tamil people here and I'm dearly sorry for this. Everyday I'm learning new things here and I'm very proud to see the achievements what the Eelam Tamil people have brought to Canada. There are so many Tamil stores, temples, hospitals, schools, etc which were started by them helping a lot of Tamil people here. I truly salute their efforts for achievements, businesses and also understand how mentioning Indian in this video can hurt the feelings for the Yal / Eelam Tamil people. I'm taking this opportunity to correct this, so I've changed the title, description, added subtitles, pinned comment for others who are watching. I also would like to edit this video but I lost my project file since I took this video long back and there is no way to correct this within CZcams. I'm planning to post more videos on Tamil culture here, the achievements made by Tamil Eelam people to Canada, stay tuned for them. Day will not be far off when people will need to say whether the shop is Madurai Tamil store or Tirunelveli Tamil Store or Kandy Tamil store! Like Palghat Tamil, Kanya Kumari Tamil, Madurai Tamil and Chennai Tamil , in South India! One language, but when convenient, we have a lot of Differences- Unity despite diversity? Incidentally most of the vegetables sold even in Tamil stores or Gi ujarathi, or even Malayalee stores in Canada are mostlyt imported from West Indies (General area of many islands) and not from India or Srilanka, except some very special items which are not yet grown in South American islands ! The cost difference numerically is not just 10 percent but almost 3 times of prices at the place of origin, though in real terms it may be comparable with local conditions.,in Canada! For Vegerables, Wallmart is not really a comparison !

Beside, front Board of all the Dozens & dozens of Tamil stores& take out places, 90% of them say, on their front board => "both SLnkan & Indian foods & groceries" etc, So no major error made by this Vlogger to irritate, anger, & catastrophicly mistaken etc etc words & reactions from Thamilargal. ⚠️ As mentioned by others in comments, This is NOT an Indian Supermarket, it's a Tamil supermarket run by "Yazh" tamilians who came from Yalpanam (Jaffna - Sri lanka). In fact, I'm more proud to say this is a Tamil Supermarket than mentioning it as Indian Supermarket. Since I'm from India and completely new to Canada and the Tamil culture here, I was not aware of this when I posted this video and I've learnt this thanks to others in the comments. As I'm accustomed to saying Indian Groceries in India, I've used the same words here so that newcomers who come from India to Canada can relate and understand. Later from the comments, I found that this is hurting the feelings of Eelam Tamil people here and I'm dearly sorry for this. Everyday I'm learning new things here and I'm very proud to see the achievements what the Eelam Tamil people have brought to Canada. There are so many Tamil stores, temples, hospitals, schools, etc which were started by them helping a lot of Tamil people here. I truly salute their efforts for achievements, businesses and also understand how mentioning Indian in this video can hurt the feelings for the Yal / Eelam Tamil people. I'm taking this opportunity to correct this, so I've changed the title, description, added subtitles, pinned comment for others who are watching. I also would like to edit this video but I lost my project file since I took this video long back and there is no way to correct this within CZcams. I'm planning to post more videos on Tamil culture here, the achievements made by Tamil Eelam people to Canada, stay tuned for them.

Incidentally most of the vegetables sold even in Tamil stores or Gi ujarathi, or even Malayalee stores in Canada are mostlyt imported from West Indies (General area of many islands) and not from India or Srilanka, except some very special items which are not yet grown in South American islands ! The cost difference numerically is not just 10 percent but almost 3 times of prices at the place of origin, though in real terms it may be comparable with local conditions.,in Canada!

Any way, why showing subway ride going the opposite way as u r already at the right subway 15 mts walk to yarl market is funny, lol, its cool lol to see u r doing as coming from downtown to Kennedy subway.
So u must know Erra market + 3-4 tamil takeot places including a S.Indian famous dosa restaurant, all only another 10-12 mts walk East ward on Eglinton too. Also kanthsamy kovil on Birchmnt, Also north Scarborough has many, many South & N Indian. Pak, Chinese & many Tamil interesting takeouts, restaurants & grocery, jewelery etc places from Lawrence to Steels to Hwy7,... Cheers & happy New year
